Laknavaram Lake is an Irrigation Tank constructed during Kakatiya dynasty in the 13th century. There is no Bund for it unlike other Irrigation Tanks except surplus weir as it is located in saddle portion between hillocks. Still it irrigates the ayacut of 3,500 Acres. The lake capacity is 2.135 TMC and water spread area is 40 Square Kilometers. It has 13 islands and one if it is big one on which accommodation and boating facilities are created. Cable bridges are connecting the islands. Resorts, Tent stays and other different accommodations are available for night stay. The lake is surrounded by lush green hillocks from which water flows in to lake. Boating, Speed boat, Kayaking and Rafting facilities are available in lake. It is one of the best tourist attractions of Warangal District. Haritha Hotel is located on Island-2 which is accessible by boat. Cable bridges are special attractions of the lake. The water almost touches the bottom of cable bridge when the lake is at Full Tank Level in rainy season. Restaurant was closed when we visited last week.

Best way to spend a Weekend. The place is so good that anybody loves the lake..the bridge..the boating.. They got slow as well as speed boating. The charges are reasonable In my opinion There is a chance of building more resorts in the island so that the place becomes more popular

Went there on a sunny Sunday afternoon.. moderate crowd. Can take a walk on the cable stayed bridges that lead to the boat house.. enjoyed a ride of speed boat.. costs Rs 350/trip for 4 persons .. longing for about 3-4 minutes.. a must try. Time taken - 30 mins Food options - tea and snacks available.. you may book the hotels run by Telangana government for staying here . Parking facility available..

Amazing place to stay if your willing to enjoy nature. Food an water need to carried with you to prevent yourself from facing any troubles.Wonderful experience staying one night in island. Please go with multiple families as it going alone with single family may bore you. It's a great place to stay one night with min 3-4 families together. We felt abit bore as we went only one family.

Laknavaram lake is one of the best tourist attractions in Warangal, Telangana. It is in Govindaraopet mandal in Mulugu district, amidst ornamental hills and surrounded by the lush green Eturnagaram Forest. The place is the perfect blend of thrill and adventure merged with the beauty of calmness and serenity. The roads that lead to this lake are so beautiful that they make your journey memorable.

Took good pictures though there was no water in the lake (maybe dur to monsoon) There was no water in June end. There is entry fee (only cash) and parking is 50 for car It's a picnic spot for many people, some even come here and cook their food. There are two entry ways , rooms to take rest, kid's favourite place for riding a toy car, there is a food court and tea point. They charge for sperate pre-wedding photoshoots. But they don't charge for normal photoshoots. Beware of Monkeys, there are a lot at many places. Tip: if you come here and have time then do visit ramappa temple and mylaram caves on the way

It is indescribable, along with nature forest around, spectacular the location of Laknavaram lake is. All the way here, surrounded by the beauty of nature drive to lake is scenic. Delightful it is watching the nature around this splendid lake. Cool breeze awaits walking along Suspension bridges while looking at incredible scenery all over this lake. Pleasant weather is all the lake carries delivering joyous vibe through.

It is a fun place to be with family and friends. A little boat ride is much rejuvenating and relaxing. Best time to visit in the evening as the sun set is an eye feasting view with all the water, greenery and the beautiful reflections in those water.

Laknavaram Lake is a superb weekend destination. Its one of the major tourist attraction. There are cottages available here for which you can book through TS Tourism site. The only problem here is you will not get good food.

We were visite this place years ago during peek summer time. Due to summer there is nothing much water in this lake. So we're able to drive our vehicle to inside of lake and many. Place is must visit place in rainy season. Waking on hanging bridge is an amazing experience. Road connectivity to this place good.

Loved this place. Beautiful sunset and sunrise stuck in memory. They have speed boat and ferry boat to near by lake and back. The place currently has no restaurants. They have a tea shop by tea time

Lovely spot for family. Single road... Vehicle pass 50₹. Lake ticket 10₹ Boating ticket 50₹. Tea and snacks available to buy. No idea about resorts as we didn't opt for it. 2-3 children fun games available. Over all good experience 💐💐

Wow This place is an amazing place. Its definitely worth visiting. The very basic technique of suspension was beautifully used to build this out. This bridge connects a small island. It has an amazing views. There is a small restaurant type on that island along with rooms and tea time. Its very limited resources so better have your food and come here just to enjoy the beauty There is a boat which charges 50 for adult and takes approx 20 mins for water travel. If its your first visit then i would recommend you to try this

Laknavaram pond is located in warangal district of Telangana state. It is famous place to visit. During the rainy season it's an awesome experience and it's a beautiful scenery. Telangana tourism developed new accommodation at Laknavaram Lake. The new facilities including cottages, a bridge, a viewing tower, a pantry, and a ferry from the main banks to the island.

This place is a perfect weekend getaway. I visited with my family, and the boat ride was nice. You can take a lot of photos here. I really enjoyed it. It would be even better with more facilities like food courts.

Laknavaram Lake is a lake located in Govindaraopet mandal in Mulugu district.It is located 17 km from Mulugu and 80km from Warangal, Telangana. The lake is spread over an area of 10,000 acres and holds about 2.135 tmcft of water. It irrigates over 3,500 acres of land. It was built by Kakatiya kings. It has about 13 islands in it and has a 160 metres long hanging bridge, which connects three islands. It is surrounded by a thick deciduous forest and it is a very popular tourist spot. Telangana tourism developed New accommodation at Laknavaram Lake. The new facilities including cottages, a viewing tower, a pantry, and a ferry from the main banks to the island amidst the serene waters has been opened for the nature loving tourists. Visit and Enjoy the Same 🥰

The Telangana resort stay was a lovely stay. Get AC room if on island 1 as they are away from the rope bridge and has privacy. The view from my room was so epic that I can’t describe it. We have direct view of islands. You can do bird spotting in the morning and do duck watching. In the night one can do night gazing. It was really a lovely stay. Few points to note if you are staying there, don’t expect room service and bring your own food. They deliver limited dinner options to your room for which you have to order by afternoon. We cooked our own food. Thanks Telangana government for a wonderful valentine week stay.

Its a beautiful Place to relax and unwind amidst nature. Apart from boating you can trek, watch beautiful sunrise and sunsets, soak in the sun and enjoy the sounds of nature. Haritha Resort staff is very cooperative, the food choice is limited but good. The rooms are alright. Island 1 is convinient compared to island 2 as island is very secluded with not much amenities. Even the food and water is supplied to island 2 by boat. It might be good for a larger group of people. Rammapa temple is around 75km from this place, so one can visit that.

One can try adventure activities like kayaking, rafting, rope course and Jungle safari at campsite. Kids have trampoline to which gives best fun time to children. Good hangout place. Timing for boating is from 11.00 AM to 5.30 PM. For speed boating the cost is 350 for 4 members slow boating 50/- for adults. You will get hot beverages, icecreams and snacks but quite expensive. Haritha restaurant with boarding and lodging non- AC Rs. 2100/- and AC rooms Rs. 5000/- per two person. Night stay not recommended.

Nice place...but, go to rainy season and enjoy the views ❤️ In summer no water in lake

It was a weekend, so a quick planned holiday to laknavaram lake located in warangal for the first time. It is a 5 hr drive from Hyderabad via ORR. Since its a long drive we planned to night halt at harita resorts, Telangana tourism,firstly talking about the hotel maintainance it was terrible, the sheets are not at all hygienic, the bathroom smelled, the floor was all sticky sticky when walked with bare foot. The positives on the other hand are that, since it was summer the A.C was working well, 24/7 water as well as hot water supply. The food was not a high reach but satisfactory,not bad. The biggest draw back is that there are just too many monkeys, making the place very untidy and dirty, there weren't any cleaners as well. You will not find anything to eat sort of snacks like biscuits or chips inside the lake hotel. You will only have a limited menu which you should order before 7pm only, after 7:30pm the will not take any orders as the chefs and works will return to their respective homes and there will be no staff available untill next morning. You can just feed your eyes with the beauty of the vast lake with a few islands in between, there are actives like boating, speed boat, camping (which ofcourse comes under other packages and other approach which im not sure of and wouldn't recommend cause there are alot of monkey surrounded), mini toy ride for kids again which is not very interesting. The only goodness of the resort is that you have an amazing view of 180° lake view. If you plan to stay inspite of all the odds you can gaze your eyes with the beautiful sunset and sunrise. Apart from just the natural senary, there is nothin much worth, but if you are coming with your bunch of friends then i think you might have good time cause the lake view accompanied by friends over a bottle of beer or whisky, they have a very spacious balcony so you can also sitting out. I went with my family last month and there a group of friends which created a nuisance by playing loud music and they were drunk, So not recommendable to family to stay the night. Suggested to visit the place for a few hours only (2 to 3 hours).

Location is awesome, no water due to summer. Maintenance is poor. Rooms are average maintained, food is ok you need to order prior, breakfast limited options. Very peaceful locaion.

Very exciting tourist spot, but we missed the water view coz that time no water in the lake at all... However we enjoyed the whole view of the lake n construction if the bridge... It's suitable for both families and couples

It's a beautiful location. Water here is not so clear but it's not so bad as well. You have boating and speed boating as well. Per person ticket cost is around 20-30 rupees for boating and 100-150 for speed boating that price was when i visited which is like many months ago . Food here is quite costly as it's the only place around to have food. We have archery here which cost 100 for 6 arrows. If ur tea lover it also have tea point which taste very good. If you wanna enjoy sea view and stay for few days their also have rooms which are on rent . Go and have fun 😊

Awesome place with breathtaking view. Surrounded with small mountain range and lush green forest and full of monkeys. Haritha resort is right in the island connected through the bridge one can opt to stay there and there is a cafeteria for any quick snack. They provide ferries in boat or speed boat to take a tour around the island.

A place full of potential to give competition to other similar destination. Tickets can be bought on entrance. This place needs much more attention and maintenance. Please don't litter or pollute the area. Parking is available. Please be watchful for monkeys there. A must visit place in any season you can.

I would give 5/5 for the thought of creating a tourist attraction, but this is not at all equipped with good facilities. The tourism department should take this place seriously and maintain it. This is seriously an amazing view place and would generate lot of revenue if it’s created well.

Nice place for one day tour. Good atmosphere. Definitely we will enjoy staying one night in separate island. Facilities are very good in separate island. It would be better if food is available in separate island
