Beautiful paved walking or biking trail along the Rappahannock River. Nice steps down to the river, gorgeous views every step you take. This is a small part of the rapids, near the punch bowl.

This is a nice stop along the River path. It's good to get a reminder of our history here in Fredericksburg; specifically how white people took this land from native people such as the Manahoac and the Powhatan. It's a interesting little piece of the river's history.

Indian Punch Bowl is a pre-colonial sacred site for local native tribes in the Rappahannock River area. Before war and hunts the punch bowl would be used to mix poisonous plants and animal venom to dip arrowheads into. It also served other functions. The rocks in the area remind us of the geography and landscape of the Rappahannock prior to the development and creation of the City of FXBG.

Awesome little spot to come experience nature and explore the area up and down ,river or path. Water level is a little low at the moment so perfect to jump on some rocks.

I have been going here since I was a kid. Now I bring my family here great little walking area. And a little further up the road best swimming area. As teenagers we would call the areas sliding Rick and tunnel rock!

I’m rating this night because it’s a historical place. That being said, it needs work. The only sign is a strange one asking questions but not giving any history. The site needs to be be cleared of weeds and garage as well. Me and my kids thought it was really cool to see. I would recommend going to the Patawomeck museum as part of your trip as well.

Interesting and obscure. Nothing much to the site, but in very close proximity to the river with some trails surrounding the area. Great place to take pictures of nature and river rock formations.

Beautiful scenery along the Rappahannock River. Is a bit packed on weekends but peaceful and quiet during the week.

Great! Place to have a splash in the Rappahannock River, fishing, or slide down in a tube ($25.00) rental for the whole day or just bring your own!. Make sure you take your trash with you, finally shot out to the veteran that volunteers picking up trash and keeping the place awesome!

Definitely unique. There is a trail that leads to the river and that is a enjoyable view. There is graffiti on rocks but nothing vulgar.
