Came in tonight and was very displeased with my experience , Not only was the host staffed very awkward And made me feel uncomfortable about roles not being free I’ve come to this location plenty of times and I always get my rolls for free, well that’s not the issue rules are the rules so I was fine for paying with my rolls , but the way the African-American guy at the host stand said with an attitude that rolls are not for free and they have not been free since 2001 , even question when was the last time I came to this golden corral after I told him I just came here two weeks ago, …. Honestly have been coming to this Golden corral since 2005 and I have had nothing but great experiences usually the customer service here is on point so I was very disappointed with today’s experience … with all the unnecessary drama going on in the world it’s OK to be nice every once in a while and if you don’t wanna work with customers just work in the back !

As Golden Corrals go this one is well run and very clean. The omelette bar is our favorite! Lots of fruit and veg options and a gluten free menu. The managers are helpful with questions. Service varies by server. Best to go when they first put out the foods early or at transition to lunch and dinner buffet for freshest choices and least touched if concerned with cross contamination for food allergies. Lots of beverage choices. Very reasonable prices for kids meals.

It was a great time with my family of 7; Ideal for groups. You can use the tables accordingly with you immediate needs. All kind of food: soups, meat prepared, veggies, sweets, ice cream, soda, fruit drinks, limo; personnel - very kind, disciplined, ready for clients needs; a lot of customers at any time of the day. Best choose for prices.

Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Bar was well stocked and the entire place was kept clean.

My recent visit to Golden Corral left me with mixed feelings. While the service provided by our server, Rachel, was exceptional, the overall dining experience fell short in terms of both the food and the atmosphere. From the moment we sat down, Rachel greeted us with a warm smile and promptly bought us refills. Throughout the meal, she was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Her pleasant demeanor and efficiency truly enhanced our dining experience, and she deserves commendation for her outstanding service.

Sat with an hour left before closing. Was reminded that they closed in an hour. We said we understood. Food looked as if it had been sitting out for awhile, nothing was hot, other than the soup. Waited for hibachi for ten min with no one showing up to cook it, and it was probably a blessing in disguise. Raw meat unattended, just sitting out. I was happy for the long wait so I could realize it was a better choice not to eat it. Steak was full of fat. Bourbon chicken tasted fine was but wasn’t even warm. Bread rolls were hard. Squash and other veggies were burnt from sitting. Dessert was fine. Max and cheese was good, again, barely warm. Salad was good. Fried chicken was good. No one came to ask if we needed refills. Workers seemed annoyed to get us meat, everyone was trying to clean up to close. We came in at 8, they close at 9. It’s a buffet- it’s fast. Hopefully they check their temps and do better in the future. Customer service could use some help. Not a great choice, we won’t be returning.

My husband treated all of us to dinner for my sister in laws birthday and our anniversary, needless to say the waitress we had was never around, I got 1 drink the whole time and that was from the entrance of the restaurant, she never came to check on us, I went to the bathroom and came back with my silverware gone with a full plate still on the table, I guess she expected me to eat with my hands, the only 2 servers there that are AMAZING are Abby and Alexis!! Hopefully we get one of them next time!! If I get the one I got tonight again I will ask for a refund and never come back!!!!

Keeping in mind it is a high traffic buffet….. The service was phenomenal and the cleanliness was exceptional all throughout our 3 hour meeting and meals!!! Wowed by how helpful all the people were including the staff prepping and serving the food!!! I would recommend this particular location highest of all of them I have been in!! Thank you to all the staff for our great experience!

Wonderful experience. We had a short wait in line for a Friday lunch time. Food was very good and well stocked. The staff were very nice and clean and helpful. We received refills on our drinks, and empty plates removed promptly. They had a group that day and they treated them very well also from what I could observe. Very pleasant experience and much better layout than the one in Roanoke.

Food was great, service is non existent. Had to refill own drinks at the server station. The plates were filthy and regularly went through 3-5 before finding one decent enough to eat on every time we went to the bar. With a few tweaks it could be much better.

I appreciate Golden Corral for hosting veterans for a meal each year. I may not go to partake of their free meal offer, but I appreciate their gesture so much, l like patronizing them when I can.

Food was hot and fully stocked. A few items were needing a better style of cooking or completely different approach. Ex. Corn beef and hash looked like it was fresh out the can and just warmed 😔, biscuit gravy was on the watery side (water with white coloring), hash browns had not been fully cooked ( looked like they soaked the potatoes and then tanned the top). Now on a positive side. The biscuits were really good, sausage patties also, the fake (powder and water) scrambled eggs were good, barbecue steak was good. The pulled chicken and gravy and pulled roast beef (pot roast) was really good. <== Got to be there at the right time as breakfast was in full swing and lunch was just starting after 45 minutes there. Service from our waitress was frequent and attentive. I noticed it was also the same with fellow diners. The place was pretty clean including the bathrooms and prices compared to other places I checked Kfc, cici's pizza, were reasonable. Fairly priced. Golden corral keep your prices stable were their at because your customers are eating were they can afford. It costs me $32 dollars to eat at your establishment for myself wife and 6yr old daughter. Cicis pizza which used to be a good cheap eat would of costed me today $28 dollars they used to only cost about $15 to $20 dollars. Kfc would of costed about the same. $28 to $35 dollars when the used to be about $20 to $25 dollars. In short we chose your establishment for the variety and price point.

Good selection of food on the buffet, including greens and salads, and good turn around speed from what I can tell. Some meats are cooked to order and the deserts were tasty. First time in this place and won't be the last, great value for money.

No one helped me and this is how I had to make my togo. Then the cashier had a nerve to ask if I wanted a bag why so it could spill over. These little towns have to do better They shdv came up with an immediate solution.

Took my hubby here for Father's Day! It was jam packed but he had a blast! They gave our party of 7 the back room quiet area and we really appreciated that! They had a little something for everyone and the hubby and whole fam are like kings! I thank you G.C. for another job well done!

This is my first time to a Golden corral and I do like the options of all the foods they had to choose from. Most of the foods are pretty tasty and the kids loved being able to choose what they want to eat. I did not pay for it but I was told it was $25 per person, I'm not sure if that was for kids as well because we have a two-year-old and a four-year-old. I would think for the children and should be a little cheaper and maybe it was.

Breakfast was terrible. Meats that we chose was undercooked and cheesy hashbrown caserole, potatoes were undercooked. Soft drink tasted moldy as if it had not been cleaned and only saw waiter once the entire time we were there. This is second chance we tried and it will probally be last chance.

The cashier was friendly, our waitress was welcoming, the salad bar was fresh, the steamed fish and baked fish were tasty, and the gentleman in the grill was very accommodating when I requested a few slider burgers without gravy.

Service was amazing had a business lunch in one of the reserved areas great waitress food was fairly good hard to nail everything as a buffet and it was very clean can't ask for more

Food was yummy but during our last visit, we watched our waitress skip over our table several times. When we finally got her attention to refill our drinks, she did it but was absolutely silent. In fact, she didn't speak the entire time we were there. Not even a smile. Her section wasn't busy and she spoke to other customers so we left "not knowing" what the issue was.

What a great experience for a family outing. Pleasant atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and dining area, super service, and fresh hot food. This buffet offered something for everyone.

This particular Golden Corral location is the best I have ever been to. Beautiful building and very clean. All the food bars were well stocked. Any time I am in that area, I will go there again.

food is fabulous and so delicious.The rest rooms are always neat and cleaned. The waiters are so helpful with customer service and very polite and it appears they're willing to assist the paying customers in every way they can. I would definitely recommend Golden Corral to my family, friends as well as my associates.

Seems like no one speaks english, our waitress seemed confused when we asked her if she could get me a drink from the other machine because the syrup was messed up in the other one making my drink taste bad, then it took forever for me to get the attention of the lady cutting the steak and I told her I needed well done because I am 9 months pregnant and she didnt understand and kept showing me med rare so I didn't even get steak. Then another waitress rolled her little eyes at my mom because she talked to a man at another table saying "i see you finally got someones attention to get steak" I WILL DISCOURAGE EVERYONE FROM COMING HERE!

Stopped in for lunch. Got there early enough to get a plate of breakfast. As always food was delicious. This was the first one that had a clean bathroom. Will go again if in the area.

The breakfast buffet was great!! We were there at 9am because we were traveling. Everything looked like a picture and was so good. Our waitress was so nice. I'd recommend it to anyone!

This was my first time eating breakfast at GC. I was not disappointed. Their breakfast pizza was my favorite item. There were some dessert options that I couldn't help but indulge in. I would go back for breakfast. Staff was friendly, too. Price was reasonable. I was told that coffee and juice are always free.

Server was good but the food was awful. I have to say that it has really declined since reopening. My omelet had too much mozzarella cheese which I didn't ask to be out on there anyway. The salsa looked like it was blowing bubbles so I don't think it was any good. The pancakes the cook put on my plate were not cooked thoroughly because when I cut them they were wet and doughy inside. My husband's chicken leg was cooked so hard he couldn't eat it. I was really disappointed with this visit. My husband says he is done with GC this time for real!! I hope that we can try them again with better results but I don't know if we will.

Came in for Father's Day, food was good and fresh. I didn't understand the Special Buffect Price for 15.99 when on the sign for Saturday it was 15.29. Our waitress was attentive but I feel like some of the tables were so close to each other you either couldn't get to you table without having to politely warn someone your going to come up behind them or you can reach out to their plate or hear their conversation in your ear.

Our waitress was outstanding!!! She was excellent is all I can say. They must have new cooks,because the food has been better,with a bigger variety. Overall golden corral is a nice place if you want to spend that kind of money,for 3 adults it's was almost $70,but thank good for a coupon the entire meal was $48 and some change. Groupon y'all!
