I’d give a better score had the front desk girl been a little nice-she was rude and rolled her eyes-she does not like her job or did not today! If I hadn’t been in pain I would have walked right back out and that’s a fact! I’m not extremely happy with the dental work completed but I will see if it improves over next few days. The dentist was very nice and personable. The tech was not as nice. I think an office meeting might help to reiterate standard “people skills” keep customers coming back and giving good word of mouth reviews on the practice( revenue) The front desk clerk and the tech would have been written up had I been the office manager today! F/u from response - I actually stated in my review that maybe it was not a good day for the staff -the Dentist was very nice and personably! Thank you !

My first visit with Kempsville Dental went pretty great. The front desk associate was welcoming and the assistant who took X-rays of my teeth was reassuring, friendly and professional. But the best thing that ever happened to me in a dental office ever was meeting my hygienist Lora, who was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient. Luckily, my husband was also seen by Lora today, and he was very satisfied as well with the services received. I’ve had a share of unpleasant experiences with three hygienists in the area, but I have finally found the right hygienist who’s honest, professional and can be trusted with my dental cleanings.I also met Dr. Guevarra who went over my X-rays and dental plan with Lora. He’s professional, welcoming and very friendly. Scheduling as a new patient was fast and easy as well. Thanks you Kempsville Dental.

I would recommend Kempsville Dental. They are pleasant and professional, with a comfortable atmosphere that really helped me take the edge off being at the dentist. With the level of care and service I received I felt good about choosing this dentist office. Great Team!!

My first time back to a dentist was this office, I was extremely anxious and scared, everyone there did a great job on making me feel welcome AND safe. The dentist herself reassured and worked with me, and when walking through my dental plan she was very nice and explained everything so I understood. Great experience!!!!

When Dr. Finnerty decided to retire, I was sad, and thought he could never be replaced. Sometimes it takes us "senior citizens" a little longer to adjust to new doctors, especially much younger ones.....fast-forward a year + later, I can honestly say, Dr. Finnerty left his Kempsville practice in the hands of very professional, competent, and understanding individuals. Dr. G knows his dentistry and explains everything while his patients are in the chair. His hygienists, dental assistants, and office personnel are also very competent and contribute to the patients' dental needs being met. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I recently switched dentists and I'm so glad I did. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They really pay attention to you making sure you understand the procedure you're about ro have and make every effort to make you comfortable.

I had a new bridge installed and was very happier with the staff’s professionalism and friendliness. Dr G made sure I was happy with the fit and took extra time with adjustments and never tried to rush anything. I and my wife remain loyal and grateful patients

I called with an emergency request for my daughter. I was able to make an appointment the next day. Everyone I have encountered were extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Kempsville Dental to anyone. We have found our forever dental practice!

Pleasant staff from first phone call to my appointment day. Keeps the patient in the loop with regard to paperwork. Appointment at 8am and was seen by 8:05am. Detailed cleaning and examination and didn’t talk down to me about the state of my teeth. Cozy environment and clean. All staff where welcoming.

Going to Kempsville Dental is always a great experience. Everybody, most especially the hygienists , are super friendly. I told my hygienist at my last appointment, that I dread dental appointments but every time I am there, it is almost like going for a massage because it is so relaxing I almost want to fall asleep while she is cleaning my teeth! I highly recommend Kempsville Dental!

Went in for pain from an emerging wisdom tooth. I was coming as a new patient, yet they were able to get me an appointment the next day. I waited for maybe 10 minutes in the waiting room and then was immediately x-rayed and talked to the doctor five minutes later. We decided then and there they would pull it. They had another patient in half an hour but took time to take care of my problem and still finished before that patient's appointment. The receptionists, hygienist, and Dr. Guevara were all so kind and helpful. Dr. Guevara took the time to explain my x rays to me and every step of the extraction before he did. I've had fifteen teeth pulled as a kid, and this was the most painless experience I've ever had. I barely even felt the shots which are usually the worst part. The tooth came clean out and even now as the numbness is wearing off I feel almost no pain. This was hands down the best experience I've ever had at a dentist office.

You can’t help but enjoy your dental visit at Kempsville. Aside from the thorough and excellent work - everyone is cheerful and very attentive. Laura is exceptional. I actually look forward to my next visit!
