I saw the reviews and took my husband there because we're really searching for a pizza place like in Brooklyn, NY (where I'm from). BUT sadly it was not great. If you're hungry for pizza and you're near there, sure give it a try. We sat down, our order was taken and 13 minutes later we were still waiting for 4 slices of pizza. No one checked on us or nothing. The waitress didn't know what happened and the cook was sitting in a booth resting. And mind you there was only one other table there and they were eating. My husband got up to find out what was going on and they found our slices just sitting up on the counter dying. We were hungry at this point so we ate it. Obviously the pizza was not as good or cheesy as a result. I won't be back. Bad customer service!

My $30 + pizza . Delivery , tip , pizza. Receipt said PROMISED at 12:20pm. Arrived at 1:06 after a call at 12:20 pm to check on it, then was told 10 minutes.I had to call 7 times to get someone to answer. So pizza gets delivered BY THE OWNER, and all he had to say was the were busy. But google live showed they weren’t busy (light). 1rst and last time for me. KEEP YOUR PIZZA AND YOUR LIES NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!

I've moved from New York recently and have been looking for good pizza and I found some! Def exceeded my expectations given this area isnt known for its pizza but it was very reasonably priced and delicious!😋🍕

The food is good, but I placed an order at 11:05am and it was delivered at 1245. It was one item and when the delivery man got here, I told him I needed my food since I am nurse and had to get back to work. He said he was working and didn't care if I had to get back to work. I told him I would never order again and he said fine and I should be happy he got there. The worst delivery experience in my life. I work at CHKD and been there forever, so I promise no one will order from here again. You need a new delivery driver.

Always a treat, lunch or dinner! The fried mushrooms are a favorite of mine. Tried the meatball sub as a WRAP and I think I'll do it again next time! Also, GSP has some of the best fries in town - golden, crispy outside & nice potato light, fluffy inside! 😋☺️ The meat lasagna is tasty & hearty! With an appetizer it can be shared. High Recommend GSP!!!

The service was good. Somewhat of a slow day I didn't wait too long. I ordered a pepperoni and Jalapeños pie. The cheese was the star following with the dough. I also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which was just okay...I will stick with the pizzas.

Everything was awesome!!! The pizza is fantastic. I visit every year. Pepperoni and onion pizza.

Really enjoyed the pepperoni square Sicilian style slice of pizza. The NY style slice was also really good by Virginia standards but has a lot of flop in the front and not enough crunch in the front as well to be considered authentic. Server lady was also really nice. Highly recommend pizza connoisseurs to try this place out!

Listen, there’s your typical pizza delivery person who’s nice enough and brings you food so you can’t really complain, and then there’s Poncho. Poncho just radiates joy and positivity and makes every effort to make sure his customers are happy. Never in my life have I received a pizza delivery were they actually cared enough to ask me to take a look at the food I ordered and make sure I was completely satisfied with it, until Poncho. The only downside was they were out of Mountain Dew, but you know who fixed that? Poncho did. He brought several other drink options for us to choose from! We were even offered plates, napkins and silverware! Today was a long day at a dance competition, and we were overstimulated, exhausted, and extremely hungry. Poncho was honestly one of the most awesome and kindest human beings I have ever met, his smile and bubbly personality truly lifted our spirits and made us smile! I never thought something as simple as a pizza delivery would make my whole weekend better! Thank you Poncho for just being an incredible person. If a manager is reading this, give Mr.Poncho a raise, employee of all-time or something, because it’s not often that you have someone that actually knows what customer service/hospitality is and perfects it, you have an absolute gem on your hands! Oh, and as for the pizza, appetizers and desserts we ordered… they were all so delicious!!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Definitely worth a visit for some good pizza and great service. My wife and I went here with our wedding party after our rehearsal for our wedding at the Marriott not too far away at Waterside. The waitress was super friendly despite our larger party and was very on top of it. This place is a hop and a skip from waterside and very easy to get to. Just hop on a Lime and you’re golden for a quick trip to lunch from anywhere at Waterside. The pizza was really good and a good price for a good amount of slices.

First of all, I got introduced to this place from PONCHO!! he's been amazing and I really love the food. I took my boss here today for lunch and it was great. He said it was the best pizza he's ever had and he's been around the globe.. also shout out to euro for helping us :)

🍕🧄 the food was good. The garlic knots weren’t super flavorful but they were fresh & fluffy. We ordered a deluxe pizza. It was pretty good. The service was good. A little slow, but really not a big deal for us. The place was a neat atmosphere. Very casual and laid back. 👀the photo you can see 👨🏻‍🍳 bake the 🍕🍕 which is fun. Not from here but we’d come back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like that my thin crust pizza was Actually cooked all the way through and the middle was just as crunchy as the crust. That’s a perfectly cooked pizza. Not burnt. And their dough is good! For the Virginia Beach area, this might be the best pizza place I’ve been to yet.

My brothers and I had a great experience here. We went and got a few pizzas and they were cooked to perfection. Good pizza in this area is often difficult to find but this place was great. Loved every bit of it. Staff was amazing and super kind. Highly recommend!

Sat outside, street traffic was busy passing by... weather was perfect. Food was delicious an the service was great! Fun time in downtown Norfolk at evening time.

Place used to be awesome but has gone down hill. Waited over 20min for a service and finally had to go inside to place the order (having a toddler with you places you on a timeline for nap for them, so we couldn’t keep waiting for the waiter to eventually come around). They then proceeded to put the order in to go boxes while dining in. Finally had to ask please do not bring the chicken Marsala out in a box. Pizza in the box was no problem and still great. The chicken Marsala on the other hand is completely trash and we’re not even sure what they put on it. Some guy that worked there was super chill and came out and agreed on the situation, as well he was not sure what the dish even was. Anyways food was disgusting besides the pizza. No one there could give us a refund for the Marsala dishes (or whatever it was) because do to lack of training on the cash register. They took our number and supposedly will call but who knows. Now paying for a second lunch from a different restaurant and on go now because of having a toddler ready for nap time. Picture attached of what they called chicken Marsala. Will update if they make it right.

After having a bad night, I first stopped in to see if they had Affogato. They do not, but what they do have is amazing pizza and customer service. All of the guys working were incredibly nice, attentive, and fast. I even asked to change my order to “take out” half way thru. Where most places would roll their eyes at this request, Pizza on Granby boxed up the pizza and brought it out to the table. Finding customer service like this is rare and I did not receive this quality or service at any other restaurant I visited on Granby. The PIZZA is made fresh and you can taste the pride in the ingredients. Perfect crust, garlic sauce, and toppings. This place turned my night around

The best pizza around in my opinion. The food has always been great. Their cannolis are so yummy too. I live/work downtown and this is my go to spot for pizza. Good prices and I’m not sure if it’s the owner or just a guy who works there, but I see him everytime I go in. He’s a tall man with brown hair and he is always so so kind and has such a comforting personality. Love this place and will def keep coming back!

Great pizza place right on Grandy in the middle of downtown. We love coming here when the weather is nice getting pizza and people watch. I have eaten a lot of the dishes on the menu and so far all of them have been tasty.
