Just moved to Bristol from Raleigh, NC and decided to try the local Golden Corral. This location needs to be shut down and remodeled immediately. The carpet upon walking in was a shock! I have never seen carpet that disgusting anywhere ESPECIALLY in a restaurant. The vinyl booth seats looked like a tiger used them as a scratching post making them worn, dirty and uninviting to sit on. Many of the plates, though I’m sure were clean (I hope), were horribly scratched and discolored and not very appealing to eat off of. The silverware was also in dire need of updating. Several male cooks used the bathroom located right next to the salad bar, visible for everyone eating to see. Staff should have a separate back bathroom that they use. It is NOT appetizing to watch people who are handling food to go in and out the bathroom. Visually, that is extremely off-putting for patrons and a huge no-no in the restaurant business. The food was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. The bright spot of the visit was our waitress Tiff. She was warm and friendly and a delight. Bottom line: This place needs a total refresh. Management needs to get with corporate and get the funding to gut this place and start over. If the front of the restaurant looks this bad, how does the kitchen look?

Friendly helpful waitress, Tiffany, asked us several times if everything was ok or needed anything! Crab salad, and spaghetti needed some taste. Lady in the salad area unfriendly. Food pretty good! Return visit food awesome! Needed more meat put out! Waitress helpful! Cleaned alot! Eat the dessert before your meal, so you have room for dessert!

Great selection of entrees, salads, and deserts. The staff here were very friendly and welcoming.

This was our favorite buffet for years. We have eaten here at least once a month for many years!! Not really sure what has happened to the management, but over the past few months, the quality has hit rock bottom. We arrived at the restaurant at 11:30 for lunch. The food on the bar was reheated from the previous evening. Most of the food was cold or slightly warm. It is hard to believe that you pay almost $30.00 for two people for lunch and have to eat leftovers from the previous day. Unfortunately our favorite hot bar is no longer. We will never return.

Staff members seemed nice and attentive, but I came in first thing in the morning... the food tasted like it was last nights leftovers. Another time I was here a few months ago... the food was just as mediocre. Other Golden Corrals I've been to were somewhat better. Maybe it's just hard to get good fresh food in Bristol.

We walk in and see nasty carpet that looks molded near the drink machine. It wasn't in need of being vacuumed, it had to be a health code violation. Against my gut instinct, we ate there. The food is usually always good at this location but on this day, some of the food offered was not fresh. It had sat in the warmer until it was hard and uneatable. After going home, both of us were sick for 2 days. Our server was great! She was nice, friendly, efficient and went over and above to take care of all her customers. The bathroom was clean but looked bad. Stained sinks, stained floors, etc. This location building, parking lot, bathroom and dining area are handicap and wheelchair accessible.

Worst meal I've ever had here. Came with 3 adults and a child on Monday 7/4/2022....half of the food was cold. Rest was mediocre over cooked/ stored in back. Most working in back standing around talking ( except salad bar attendant. was refilling well). Waitress service was excellent . Spent over $40 and not worth half. Won't be back for noon meal on weekday again....I am aware it was a Holiday but if you are going to be open make it worth the 9.99 plus 2.49 drink per person price!

Well after a good drive and a little shopping nearby we decided to go eat at Golden Corral. Usually a safe bet. Foods usually consistent and always fills you up. That was the thought and it was more than the truth. This Golden Corral was a step up from the rest. Better staff, service, and quality of food. The steak was delicious, the shrimp fresh and tasty, the fried fish was phenomenal, and the rest of the buffet was grand. Couldn't have asked for a better experience at a restaurant. A real winner. Kids were pleased, parents were pleased, and bellys full. Thank you... Sorry for the shotty pictures, I had planned to take better ones but my appetite made me loose my train of thought. This was more or less the aftermath of or Fiesta.

The food was good. The service was great until our server disappeared for a bit. My husband needed a drink refill and asked Deb, another server to bring him a drink. She took a while to do it. By the time she brought his drink I needed one too so I asked Deb to please refill my drink. She said "I'll get her" referring to getting our server. She did refilled our drink but was very mad doing it. I felt uncomfortable. Also both bathrooms were dirty.

This used to be the best place to feed a large family in Bristol, but since the pandemic, this place has been a disaster. The food is always old, crusty, and in some cases spoiled. The choices of food diminished as well. My kids used to love to eat here, now they wouldn't even finish dessert because it tasted off. We've been going to the one in Johnson City for the past few years where the food is excellent every time! We decided to give this location another shot, and we all pushed around gross food on one plate each and just left. The staff are always friendly, sadly to risk of food poisoning is high here and we won't be back.

Came around 8pm, which is sort-of close to closing but not quite. The restaurant was quiet with only a few people, so the food options were limited and old. Not necessarily the restaurants fault. Still, the food tasted fine. I would have liked to see more options aside from salads and a few meats. Ham was sitting and got cold, but the steaks were pretty well cooked. Rolls were excellent and so was the mac and cheese. I didn't try too much from the dessert bar, but it was interesting how many options there were. The staff made up for the quality of the food. One of the nicest waitresses we've ever had. Not sure if I would come back, but if you're a fan of Golden Corral then this restaurant is a good place to be.

I've came to this golden corral many times over the years and always enjoyed it but I went a couple weeks ago for the first time in a while and this place has really went downhill. I came at about lunch time so naturally I expected the food to be at least kind of fresh and good quality since lunch tends to be busy but the pot roast no longer has good tender meat, now the meet has big chunks of fat hanging off and it's just nasty to look at, pizza was stone cold, dessert bar was just sad, only the vanilla soft served worked and they were completely out of toppings for it, the bakery was not stocked with much at all, and many of the plates are yellow from age with tons of knife cuts in them. The best part of my visit was my waitress and the man who was grilling meats, they were very pleasant. As sad as I am about the decision, I won't be back here after my last visit. I just can't justify paying as much as I did for food and conditions that low quality.

I have ate here many, many times. It has always been VERY clean and well maintained until today. The food bars were NASTY the whole time we were there. I told that it is under new ownership. I am planning to let the new owners/management have a chance to get the restaurant better organized before I make a return visit.

Was disappointed in meal on 3 14 22 food was not good. Banana pudding was usually the best but I ask what happened to it server said well it is looking nasty so eat caret cake , really you should ask for it to be removed from the bar he said people will eat it or leave it... not going back another place gone bad..

Our waitress was top-notch. Enjoyed her job. Lucky to have her. I had Steak, Salad Baked Potato, and Roll. It was an enjoyable meal. I'm sure everyone has something different they like. Golden Corral would be the place to find it.

Very good food. Awesome staff. They were understaffed due to people calling off. But they did an awesome job stepping up and helping each other. Love seeing this 🥰 Our waitress was amazing 🤩 I wish I remembered her name. I'm not good with names unfortunately.

Our server was great, but the bars were nearly empty the whole time. Then they shut off the area our party was sitting, and set a reservation of 30+. We felt so awkward that we left before we were done. Definitely didn't get 130 dollars worth. Won't be back to this location.

Seems like when I was in college this was a fabulous place. Their food was amazing, and variety is always my thing. Now that I'm older and perhaps more refined the food seems only mediocre. The steak was still good but it was really thin, for it to be steak and seafood Sunday they did not have much seafood.

Considering it's a Buffet Style and the clientele it draws it's okay, but nothing extraordinary. However, for the price charged, it's a fair deal. a couple of the employees at the Grill need to be a little more customer friendly ..... I would recommend that the Seafood Salad go back to being chunky instead of the shredded texture that it now is, Texture Matters...it's too much like a mush now.

We had the best waitress. My husband had found out some bad news and she noticed he was upset so she brought him cotton candy. She didn't know it was his favorite. The food was OK at best the service is what made it 5 star.

Just at salad until burger hit the grill… when you have allergies you pick and choose what you think is not contaminated… the server was extremely great!!

Don't plan on going back. Not worth driving 50 miles for the price and not getting your money's worth. 3 of us couldn't get the waitress to get us refills on drinks. When she finally did. It was poured over a half cup of ice water.

Kind of disappointed.. food was cold .. fresh salad and Sweet tea were Awesome.

Had an Amazing time getting together for my son's baby.. Gender Reveal after party. It is first time I had been to a restaurant since the pandemic hit...I was a little but they did an excellent job...having it set up for me to feel comfortable!! All the food was fresh and Hot!! Excellent!! Friendly Service from everyone employee that I came in contact with. Place well maintained even the restroom. Keep up the Excellent work!!
