Gym is awful. I had hip surgery continued to make me pay per month for my gym membership that I can’t use. The managers did not want to speak with me and I was required by my doctor to refrain from physical activity for 2 months. I tried to see if I could get back into the gym on the 1st of the month to see if I could do the bikes. All of them were too high and had too much range of motion. They will not give me my money back and had terrible customer service. The manager Aaron was especially rude and claimed he talked to me when he did not. I wasn’t even allowed to explain my side of the story. Beyond the worst experience I’ve ever had at a gym. Do not sign up for a crunch membership, they’re terrible.

Very big. A lot of equipment. Decent place to work out, but has some downsides too. Usually a machine or 2 are under repair on a given day so they are "out of order." Not the cleanest gym either.

I had left the country November 2021 I was told my account will be frozen until I get back in March 2022. I was still being charged, so I got upset and told them to cancel my membership instead via email. I was told it had to be in person. I went to their office in April to cancel and all they did was take my card info off the system. I received a text in June or July of late payments, went back to the office to cancel again they made me pay what I owed in order to cancel. It is now October 2022 and I found out I'm still being charged. Stay away from this gym!

Dirtiest Gym I've been to as far as Male locker room . Shoes stick to the floor , showers are disgusting, No one ever cleans the sauna . Bad gym etiquette no one put weights back on rack and leaves weights on machines when done using them .

I joined Crunch Warren in December 2022 and I have already made a ton of new gym friends. It’s a great community and I love the positive energy and support! Even though the music that the exercise group on Wednesday nights is very loud, the music that Crunch typically plays on the overhead speakers is upbeat, which really fuels a good workout.

I really like this gym, it's always neat and clean. I use to attend the dearborn location which is very crowded evening time. Showers are usually dirty or not working. People don't greet you once you check in! Just very unprofessional. MAKE SURE YOU VISIT THE WARREN LOCATION ITS THE BESTEST👌🏾💯💯💯

Okay I’ve been to this gym back in 2021 for a good chunk of time. I never noticed how bad these locker rooms are! I’ve been back now consistently for 7 months and I gotta say you guys must have very poor hygiene or just don’t care the locker rooms for the guys are filthy! Like how the hell you gon tell me oh you can’t use the black plates or reg chalk. Then I go to the bathroom and it looks like a puppy just got in the trash. Ripped toilet paper everywhere floors are black asl. I sit in the sauna by myself and I notice after about 20 min that there’s a bunch of ants crawling around. Cmon man you guys would get a higher score if you guys clean up better the floors are black bruh! You need to enforce some type of cleanliness policy or something because hygiene is #1. Two stars knocked off for that management needs to do something ASAP. That’s disgusting man! Listen please I don’t even need a reply just do the actions mop these floors, vacuum, sweep, air freshener, spray n wipe down there’s no shame in that! I do a lot at my job n when cleaning has to get done me and my whole department do it not half assin it either. One more thing before I got my Crunch membership again I used to go with my brother to Planet since he has a black card. Now I don’t like working out there that was me easing my body back into working out, long story short when I was in there the bathrooms were pristine clean no complaints at all it was awesome! If I see a difference in cleanliness I will update this to a 5 because I do like this gym lots of good machines to work on and the ppl are pretty cool too.

TVs in main free weight area are never on and/or working. When they are on and working they never have major sporting events on. Always showing movies with no sub titles. What’s the point? Get to know your customers. Very different customer base in the free weights compared to the cardio equipment. Wipes are constantly not being filled up especially in the free weight section.

THE STAFF Laney the General Manager help provide the best gym experience. First time entering, Laney and her staff, Aaron, and Alex all greeted me politely and was just overall welcoming. Laney ensures that the staff is always around ready in case everyone needs anything and that everyone is cool and being respectful. Such has making sure all the weights are in order and the place is clean, unlike many gyms in the area. CLEANLINESS By far the cleanness gym I’ve ever been to in the area. Compared to LA Fitness’ Locker room which looks more like a sweat box, everything is sticky and there is always something wet on the floor. Crunch fitness is superbly clean. The locker rooms always being maintained clean. The gym floors are always vacuum. They ensure that everyone is being respectful and don’t bring their gym bags lying on the gym floor. THE EQUIPMENTS They literally have top of the line equipment. I prefer hammer strength, but Their equipment feel extremely high quality. Especially their free weights. They have like 3 -4 pairs of each weight so you’re never ever waiting around. LA Fitness and a lot the gyms in the area have like 4-5 Benches. I think they have like 10 or more. So you’re never waiting around. THE ATMOSPHERE Selection of music is not the type I listen to but that’s why you have head phones. However, their music in general keeps you pumped and motivated. I catch myself shazamming some of their tracks. People are super cool, Not many “pretentious trying to act hard gym bros here”. Overall great because the staff does help give a great culture. A trainer helped me make gains with sessions that were initially 60 minutes 3x a week here but this place isn’t worth it otherwise. Membership here requires providing your bank account number, which isn’t something a business should collect from customers. Cancelling a contract can require permission from the regional sales manager.

Worst gym and franchise in Michigan. Getting them to stop charging your card is the most difficult experience. They make it difficult to squeeze as much money as they can instead of just focusing on making a good gym thatll make you want to stay.

Nice, clean, gym. The equipment is in good condition, and plentiful. Rarely am I waiting to use a machine or weights. Staff has always been pleasant. Though I dont utilize them, they have many extras such as personal trainers and exercise classes.

I have never been here before but I'm 13 and over weight and I really need to lose pounds and I don't know where to start I just want some help and don't have much money someone please help

When it comes to the payment notification, I was basically lied to. I asked multiple times how many personal sessions I had left. I was told 4, not knowing it was my last. So if you don't say anything after your 3 month agreement, it will automatically charge you if you don't say anything within 10 days of your next payment. So, after I went back and looked at my dates, I saw I was at my last 1 and was already charged for 2 more sessions that I did not want. I told the personal training manager that I was told I had more sessions to our initial agreement, but I was literally at the end. He just said he would talk to the trainer I was with, and that's it. I'm basically stuck with the charges. So, to be honest, avoid getting a personal trainer here and go elsewhere or sign the cancelation when you start but date it for your last session. I'm looking to fight those charges.

Absolute garbage, 3 dudes tried to start a fight cuz they think I was trying to steal their phone, coming at me like he was gonna attack me, it was a misunderstanding I apologized then they started making fun of me I cussed them out n they kept tryna push the limits. 3 dudes all white, one with a long face short hair n beard wears glasses tall and skinny, another tattoo on one side of his chest looking like a dollar tree Tommy fury, and some fat dude. I reported them to the reception, the receptionist stopped everyone before a fight broke out. Happened Monday January 15th, around 11pm in the sauna. Hopefully they get kicked out and banned from the place. It was a simple misunderstanding, there was a phone right at the corner of the sauna door on the floor, no one was next to it, so I thought one of my friends left it, I picked it up and saw it wasn’t mine or my friends, then the dude charged at me. After me my ppl n the receptionist left the room, we can hear them making fun of us. If you want to deal with these kinds of ppl then come to this gym, where a fight will break out over a simple misunderstanding, you don’t want anybody to touch ur phone, don’t leave it on the floor right next to the door and ur a couple of feet away from it, anybody can make a mistake and think they dropped their phone on the ground.

Worst gym possible. Only place I know that holds you to a year membership, and when I signed up the front desk said “no commitment” and “sign here” for a free trial. It’s a scam. Well they absolutely lied and you’ll be stuck with them for at least a year. Planet is the exact same as this place and won’t hold you against your will.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CRUNCH IF YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE YOUR MONEY STOLEN FROM YOUR ACCOUNT THEN DENIED ACCESS TO WORKOUT. This gym has been taking money from my account since January then when I arrive they say they have no record of the payments even when I show them my bank statement. AARON the GM is zero help and could care less about customer satisfaction. Save your money and go ANYWHERE else. Their reviews are riddled with customers upset because they’re stealing their money. I wish could give them zero stars.

The gym is alright. I’ve been a member since 2021. I’ve tried PT twice with them. The first time(2022) I finished my 3month commitment and decided to not continue after as I didn’t really care for the trainers methods. I let the trainer know and it took about 3 more charges to my card before that took effect even though I was clear in wanting to stop training right after the 3 month commitment. That was fine, no big deal (even though I was never even sure we even used all of our sessions from that personal trainer because I’m certain we had a few leftover) I just decided maybe I needed a different trainer. This second time in 2023, I had been struggling financially and had been late on a few payments for both my membership and PT a few times. I always paid it though and if it wasn’t paid, I’d typically just not go and wait till I could pay it up in full. Recently my personal training account was overdue though my monthly membership was paid up, and one would think I’d be able to use my membership to use the equipment and classes as it’s separate from my personal training charge—no they turned me away. Apparently, even though the charges are different—even if your membership is paid in full you cannot workout regularly if your PT balance is overdue. That’s fine if it’s their policy. A little insane they charged me my 30 a month membership for me to not be able to use it due to a different charge and aspect. The extra crazy part is, I STILL have personal trainer sessions to use that are already paid for…but apparently can’t because my future ones aren’t paid. So basically from both personal training experiences I’ve got paid sessions that I never used…though they are eager to charge me for ones in the future! I’ll say, my trainer Vic was great. She’s the only reason I didn’t switch to Edge Fitness earlier. This, though, was my final straw. I don’t mind not being able to use the facilities if I haven’t paid (duh) but I JUST paid my membership ($30 a month) and can’t even use the treadmill because my future PT sessions aren’t paid? I can’t go to my Pt sessions that ARE paid because next weeks aren’t paid yet? BFFR.

This business are thieves and steal extra money from your account other than what is agreed on for membership cost. They force you to use credit card and then charge you for that and claim that they can because it's a fee not an increase membership even though it's an increase membership cost when trying to talk with these managers, their response is "oh well" and that we should ask about extra fees every time we come into the gym. They claim that they sent out an email saying that they're going to charge extra even though I never received it and when I asked for them to provide proof the admit that they cannot provide proof, and that they've had the same problem with other members. As a military vet, this was my Veterans Day gift from them of having them attack my account over 10 times in three days because I only had the amount to cover my membership fee in my account and not the extra hidden fees that they are attaching on without notice. I suggest you save your bank account and save your money and just go to #PlanetFitness. I have only been back a month and a half? I also go to PF because lately there's too many people hanging out on machines forever on the phone? And the slamming weights and yelling? They need someone to walk around and check people??? I'm 59 and I'm not going to Ask a Ego lifter how many sets he has while posing on the machines 🤣DO BETTER PLEASE

I love this Gym! This location have convenient lockers in the workout area! The employees are wonderful!! Great atmosphere!!!

From 1 PM to 11 PM the gym is a mess, there’s no benches, squat racks, cable flies, machines available. It’s a literal playground and it’s horrible. I would stay away from this gym unless you’re here to do cardio!!!

The employees keep it well cleaned. People here actually put their equipment back and wipe it down after using. My fiancé and I love coming here. We’ve tried various gyms in the area and kept deciding this Crunch was better than the rest.

I could never stick to working out !! I was always uncomfortable working out in front of people ! This is the best gym ever ! The equipment is easy to use ! The tanning beds are awesome and the staff is awesome and so friendly ! I’m so glad I found a gym that I feel like I belong ! Now I’m addicted to the gym 😎 Next week I meet with a trainer I’m super excited! I also get to bring my daughter to work out with me ! You can’t beat the price ! Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE this gym. It is always clean, staff are friendly and they have nice amenities for the price. I recently got a trainer (Roger). He is a great motivator and is knowledgeable about fitness. I recommend this gym if you are new and looking for a place to feel comfortable.

The Crunch in Warren was always so clean and nice when I went in there. All the employees are super friendly and loved the classes. I was set up with a PT, Jeff S. and he is amazing!! Always was super helpful, listened to me, encouraging, and was always available for questions. I highly recommend the gym and Jeff!!
