The room was absolutely superb. It was perfectly clean and well designed. Full kitchen with dishwasher and a clothes washer and dryer. There were fresh coffee beans, a grinder, and very nice coffee maker. Everything was premium quality. I will always stay there when in Detroit here on out.

I booked a room here last minute for a concert I was going to and was shocked at how nice the place and the workers were. Coming in late night after a concert to the snack bar was fantastic. I was also fortunate enough to get upgraded for free Shout out to the clerk Dominic for being so great !

I recently attended a concert at Ford Field and spent the weekend at The Roost Detroit Apartment Hotel. The newly restored hotel is stunning and the finishes truly capture a casual elegance. The room was both upscale and cozy at the same time. There are some beautiful gathering spaces in the study and terrace areas if you want to spend time with a group. They have really hit it out of the park with this one! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helped us with parking, shopping and restaurants nearby. The location was a ten minute walk to Ford Field and just steps away from many great dining options. The Roost Detroit is perfect for anyone attending an event at Ford Field, Comerica Park or Little Caesars Arena. It was just the right spot to turn our event into a memorable weekend exploring downtown.

A stunning newly renovated hotel. We stayed here for a night in the city and were blown away by the amenities, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and how beautiful the building is. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in downtown Detroit.

Very friendly staff! Valet service was incredibly convenient and the rooms were excellent with a nice view. In the heart of Detroit, so very close to everything. Also, the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in as a traveler. Will definitely be back for any stay in Detroit again.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms. Great location for sure. My only issue is none of the restaurants or bars in the property are operational so after a recent concert there wasn’t any way to grab a drink or bite to eat.

The Grandeur, an epitome of elegance, is an art deco masterpiece that pays meticulous attention to every detail. From the grand lobby adorned with intricate motifs and ceiling freezes to the sumptuous rooms furnished with exquisite style, the hotel transports its guests to the zenith of Detroit's mid-century prime, while offering all the modern amenities expected of a luxury hotel with a full kitchen. The Restaurant: Within the Grandeur lies a jewel - a restaurant that is a culinary delight and a feast for the senses. The space, an extension of the hotel's art deco aesthetic, is immaculate. Mosaic marble floors, French posters, and brass/copper accents create an ambiance entirely appropriate for a Parisian brasserie, yet distinctly Detroit. The kitchen, a spacious and state-of-the-art facility, churns out spectacular dishes that honor Detroit's French heritage while paying tribute to its mid-century prime. The Value: Despite its luxurious offerings, The Grandeur provides exceptional value. The hotel and its restaurant have successfully balanced luxury with affordability, making it accessible to both the discerning traveler and the budget-conscious guest. It is a rare find in the heart of Detroit, a city that is reclaiming its former glory with each passing day. In conclusion, The Grandeur is more than just a hotel; it is a symbol of Detroit's resurgence, a nod to its past, and a beacon of its future. The restaurant within its walls is a culinary journey that pays homage to the city's French roots while celebrating its mid-century heyday. Together, they offer an experience that is luxurious, yet surprisingly affordable, making The Grandeur a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Detroit. Having spent a month here, I love this place, exceptional staff and management made this place feel like home.

Really high quality rooms, from the bedding material to the decor to the furnishing. The study and gym are amazing as well. Only downside is the price, but it isn't that much more than other places in downtown Detroit.

We booked this hotel on a last minute whim but WOW we were so thankful we did! This hotel is absolutely beautiful and a great location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was incredibly spacious and clean. We had drinks at the Bar Rotunda and they were delicious! We did late check out, which was greatly appreciated! We won’t be staying anywhere else but here next time we visit Detroit.
