This store came highly recommended to me by a lot of people across the state. It was my first experience inside. I was greeted by a gentleman whom was warm and welcoming. He made my awful day better. He had a calming aurora surrounding him. The man also worked with a white woman. I felt like she was watching me in comparison to the other white shoppers. I picked up two books, put one back to substitute for some cute hair pins. She passively goes “I thought I saw you with another book.” The book was $25 and the hair pins were $10 each. Maybe it was because I circled the store a lot, but it was overwhelming and so much to take in for a first experience. I didn’t want to miss anything. Overall it’s a very cute store and they have everything. It’s reasonably priced and displays are organized. After 10+ years in customer service and management. That was very specific verbiage large corporations used to deter stealing. And I feel like she could have worded that better. Example: I saw you by the book section. Have you seen book XYZ I really enjoy ABC about it. It didn’t feel very open doors.

I called for a Tarot card reading and was told to come right along. I had never been read by Allison so I booked 1/2 hour with the understanding that if we “Clicked” i would extend it to an hour. She was wonderful. Her surroundings were very nice. When we went to extend it to 1 hour, the appointment had been given away. I was told I did not pay for the 2nd 1/2 hour so it was given away (not my understanding!!) The “desk person” was not very nice about it. I think she should have asked me if I wanted the full hour. I was not too far away! I was transferred to a gentleman. BIG MISTAKE!! He read me 100% opposite of Allison! Who do you believe??? His side if the table had a nice table cloth and knick knacks. Mine had nothing but a folding table - no table cloth or knick knacks. He very sternly told me NOT to touch the cards. He shuffled them and chose the cards to read. I have always picked the cards.. Not sure why he was like that…… i will come back for Allison but NEVER allow yourself to be shifted mid reading. Again who do you believe??

Me and my friend went here for a reading today and absolutely loved the vibe. Everyone working there were so nice and helpful. I wasn't expecting it as I saw some bad reviews about staff being rude but that was not my experience. Both me and my friend were very pleased and I will definitely go back again. Reading with heather was great as well. We booked her because of some of the good reviews and she did not disappoint us.

Open Doors is the BEST! I love the store & everyone who works there is always so nice & helpful. We recently hired Heather, one of the mediums at Open Doors to come to our house for a surprise party for my mom. She was absolutely incredible. I can't even put into words how great she was. She turned my dad, who has always been a skeptic, into a believer by bringing forth messages with information she could not have known. My 12 year old daughter, who was also skeptical, can't stop talking about the beautiful message she received from her great grandparents. My mom, her sisters, and her friends cannot stop talking about how happy they were with the messages that came through. It really meant so much to everyone there & we all can't wait to see Heather again either individually or again as a group. Thank you Heather, you truly have a gift & we are all very grateful! I also recently took an angels communication class with Allison. She is also incredibly gifted, intuitive & inspirational & I told all of my friends & family they need to take her class! Thank you Allison & Open Doors!

It's one of the best shops I've been in. The variety of spiritual tools for different faiths is amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. So much to see and expolore. I live about 45 minutes away, but I will be back as often as possible.

You definitely get a vibe in there. People aren't the kindest and it feels like you're being watched. I like their selection but prefer other places just because the energy is suspicious right when you walk in.

After weeks deciding on were to get a psychic reading from and then deciding on a psychic. I chose Heather because of the reviews here and on yelp. I asked about my upcoming move and future career. I hope most comes true. Will update this review if does comes true.
