Stopped in for a little Valentines Day lunch and recieved excellent service, great food, cold beer, and good prices. Had a couple awesome $0.99 coneys and shared a basket of Tavern Fries with my Sweet wife (she had a coney too). It has always been friendly at Jimmy's Tavern and they treat us right. This place is a treasure hidden just thru the door of National Coney Island.

Good place to get drunk in. Make sure you tip those girls good though because they always do a damn good job every time I'm in there. They never disappoint

I liked the atmosphere. It was very clean!The takeaway from this place was for me was, the drinks were weak. Me personally, I like to taste what I pay for. Not just the juice. Our service wasn't the greatest. Couldn't remember what we ordered, had to come back and ask us 3x. Only reason I gave it 3 star's because it was my first time there, And it was clean.

Back after almost 4 years and again we just loved it! Lovely waitress (didnt get her name) and awesome wings, onion rings, cajun dry rub wings and pretzel bites! Loved our favorite beer! It was better than i remembered. I previously rated 4 stars but edited it to a well deserved 5 stars! 2022. PREVIOUS REVIEW 2018 preferred stop for a quick blue moon just off van Dyke! We really enjoy it here. Great regular waitress (Mona) I would definitely recommend if you looking for a quick drink after work. The menu is good too (loaded fries).

Been wanting to come here for a few years. Finally made the trek down. Small place, but they make up for it with the vibe and great drinks. Can't remember the name of the gal who made them but boy were they good! Food was fantastic.. some standard NCI food but the "bar" menu, worth coming back for, plus the drinks. Have to hand it to the 2 ladies working this side, they were hustling between all the customers coming in. Only downside was for the comfort of the booths, they're broken down not entirely comfortable.. but there's other options for seating I'll try next time.

Had a great evening here with some friends. Food was delicious, and so were the drinks. I enjoyed trying some of the shots on the seasonal drink menu, too! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

found this place on accident. My husband and I came in for a bite and drinks..the bartender is amazing and super nice the waitress was amazing drinks were never empty the food is sooo good hot and fresh definitely recommend the whiskey bbq burger and the prices are VERY affordable. Definitely our new little spot. So glad we found this place

The food was not that great. I ordered an omelette which was overcooked and rubbery. The toast was not buttered at all. I had to ask twice for marmalade for my toast. The atmosphere was even worse. The music was so loud I couldn't even hear the person sitting across the table from me. I asked the waitress numerous times to have the music turned down and was eventually told that they couldn't or wouldn't turn it down. I might add that we were not there on a Friday or Saturday night. My friends and I were there at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon and there was hardly anyone else in the bar. So the food was bad, the service was mediocre, and the atmosphere was lousy. No I don't think I'll be going back to this place ever.

Good food and friendly service though some were finished with their food by the time others food came out.

Had lemon chicken soup was really really good. Had lunch there was my cousin Sense you got me thinking about this soup can't wait till they open today

Love it here. Having National Coney Island as an option at the bar is great but Jimmy's food is top notch as well

checken sandwich was so dry like it was like biting into a piece of wood no joke amd this was the 2nd and last time I will go there because 1st time was the same, I told the waitress she said sorry. waited to get a refill about 25 minutes while she was at the bar smoking and taking thats the truth 25 minutes.

Wait-staff is wonderful! I've only had the cheese fries, but they come to the table hot, just crispy enough on the outside and covered in gooey cheese.

My wife and I came here to Jimmy's Tavern, for the first time today. It looked like a nice place based on reviews and photos. When we got there, we didn't know if we could seat ourselves. No one came over to us. So we asked a customer. We waited for at least 5 minutes for the waitress. We ordered 2 old fashions. They tasted like Iced orange water. My wife couldn't drink it. She ordered a cosmo that tasted like Kool aid. When we told the waitress about the drinks, she didn't seem to care. The bartender wasn't measuring the liquor. She was basically pouring a splash. And they started giving us dirty looks. On a positive note, the food was excellent. I wish we could have tipped the cooks. We won't be coming back. We'll go to Malones instead.

What's not to love?! Can order food from the Coney Island or Jimmy's Tavern menu, great selection of draft, bottle and canned beer. People are friendly and plenty of space for medium-sized groups.

I take my 91 y/o mom here once a week. We love Patty the bartender!

Excellent food and you can order food here after 8:00 P.M. as that's become kind of more rare nowadays in other restaurants.

The manager Patty is a life saver when the horrible hotel Courtyard Marriot Warren didn’t honor a room the said they would Patty kept Jimmys opened for us so my guest had a place to go after our wedding Mary the bar tender was amazing there was also another amazing blonde waitress unfortunately I didn’t get her name (or the 5 green tea shots I forgot lol) but she was just as amazing . If your in town I would definitely recommend this place

I had a good time at Jimmy's. We had a large group and a complicated tab with drink vouchers. I had the Asian Ginger wings. They were delicious. Our server was excellent and handled our group well. I forgot her name, but she has blonde hair and a nose ring. Management should recognize her with a raise and/or a bonus. She was very kind and patient with our group. I'd definitely return to Jimmy's Tavern.

Could easily be 5 star if it weren't for the baby chicken wings. The flavors and sauces were excellent along with the cooking method but the wings were just the smallest wings I have ever seen. Mary behind the bar is definitely five stars though!
