Location advertisers as family-friendly. One hour after check-in we were told if we cannot contain our two-year-old son we would have to leave. Also advertisers as a smoke-free property. Every time we came in and out of the main entrance there was at least two people smoking. Due to an ice storm we were without power at our house for several days. Hotels stays we're our only option so we figure rent a hotel that is family friendly. At one point we checked in with the front desk to make sure we were being as quiet as possible and the front desk receptionist said maybe you should just keep him in the crib for your stay which only ended up being two days. Several times we mentioned to the front desk that people were smoking at the doors and we were ignored. The floors in our rooms look like they were very lightly ran over with a vacuum still hairs and crumbs all over the place and leftover confetti from what looks to be Valentine's Day which was a week prior. Everything below waist level witch is all in child's reach looked like it had not been wiped down and weeks. I travele 4 months out of the year for work and when I'm out alone I rent pretty cheap hotels when we are out as a family we always rent nicer rooms and for the price of this room it does not meet up to standards. I would strongly not recommend this hotel if you are looking for anything over 3 stars and or family-friendly. This is only a two star mid-level hotel at best. I hope my review is found useful to everyone.

We stay at Marriott whenever we travel as we are Marriott owners. However, this particular hotel does not follow the complimentary upgrade that is possible with our ownership level. As we do not have the top level. Only the Platinum and Titanium get an upgrade. Which is wrong on so many levels but I digress. On top of that they charge a $100 security deposit that will be increasing soon. Which should be on their website just like some charge for parking and someone can make the best decision possible with the available information. Probably won't return to this hotel due to this things. I understand that some are franchises and that fine but we will probably not be back. Also vent was broke in bathroom and you could barely breathe with shower on. I have attempted to contact the manager several times over the last couple of days. I keep being told the manager is not there but comes in at 9am. Called several times throughout the day and manager was not in. I also have not received any call back either. Also breakfast was not very good either. That should definitely get worked on. We stayed on a Saturday and checked out Sunday. It is now Wednesday and no call and have not been able to get ahold of the manager that supposedly comes in at 9am. Employees acted like you were bothering them. I asked for 2 additional towels as my family has 4 people. I was given the third degree just asking for towels. I had to repeat myself several times that there were only 2 towels in room and I had 2 children as well. The person at the front desk wanted the used towels first before giving anymore. Finally after about 5 minutes she went and got one towel. I had to again request another towels. She then went and got another.

I booked this hotel only for the whirlpool suite after getting it and trying to make do with the problems (the tub wasn’t working properly at all) then the a/c stopped working in the room & had to go to another room for the night just to end up getting the worse sleep of my life. The person above kept jumping up and down and sounded like they was coming thru the floor so the sound proofing for rooms is HORRIBLE. It may be the fact that every step they took the floorboards sounded like they was cracking & they was about to be on top of me so there’s that then the mattresses was absolutely awful handsprings coming up in certain spots as if a dozen kids jumped on it for the past 30years non stop. I stayed there 3 days ago and me and my ol lady still has back aches. The hotel has mold and is very dirty and there is hazards everywhere. They are in the middle of remodeling I don’t suggest this hotel to anyone I won’t ever ever ever again stay here. I wouldn’t even stay here if you paid me and as a matter of fact this stay was so bad and they did little to nothing to help me nothing at all. Their night managers response was well we could just refund your room or switch it out for a cheaper one we have a valuable. at this point it was around midnight i wasn’t leaving so I took the other room which was a step below and I still had to pay basically full price for only a couple hours if I wanted a normal room I would’ve went to a better rated hotel I have this one a chance for the whirlpool suite and because it has the Marriott name. so overall experience? UNPROFESSIONAL , POOR MANAGEMENT , DIRTY ROOMS , POOR EQUIPMENT , HORRIBLE HOTEL!! You been warned! CANCELING MEMBERSHIP

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. I booked it off of the Marriott website. Our room looked better than the one pictured on the website. It had been recently renovated. The only complaint l have is the breakfast. It is included, so, free, l wish that the eggs were not from a carton. Maybe a few more choices. Coffee is really good. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The two room suite was amazing and spotless. Loved the huge king size bed and the soft sheets. We couldn't stay out the jacuzzi tub. Had the entire pool to ourselves since it was by appointment only. Pretty good breakfast in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

I was awoken at 7:00 AM on a Saturday by a knock-on the door. Since I was fast asleep, it was 7:00 AM on a Saturday, and nobody should be knocking on my door, I thought it was a bad dream. I then received a call at 7:15 AM from the front desk asking for my details and informing me that they didn't have me in the system as a guest. Then how, pray tell, did I get in this room? And why was my sleep disturbed now for the entire day? I was not happy. As a platinum elite Bonvoy member, I wasn't offered anything upon check-in or even offered points for disturbing my sleep. When you spend as much as I do on Marriotts each year, the least you can do is give me a bottle of water. The furniture was worn and stained as well. I almost never write a negative review, but this experience was very disappointing.

This was better than i expected. I just needed a night to sleep peacefully and got just that. The customer service from beginning to end was great. The room was nice in size, clean, and cozy. There was a full kitchen complete with dishware and utensils. There were a few mold spots in the tub. The breakfast was not what I expected though, I thought everything has been returned from Covid days. I didn't care for the egg souffle, the bagel was okay, and the tea options were limited. Most of the options were black tea. I did not visit the pool or the fitness area. The outside grounds were kept very well too. I would recommend this to my clients! As a licensed travel advisor, I enjoy visiting without letting them know I am checking it out to sale!

My experience at the TownPlace Suites by Marriott overall was pleasant. I was recently injured and needed a place to rest during this difficult time. I called ahead to reserve a room for myself. I SPOKE WITH Alyssa, who was the front desk receptionist. She was very polite and helpful over the phone so I booked one night. Upon arriving I was greeted immediately by a smiling receptionist who turned out to be Alyssa. I was in a lot of pain because of my injuries. Alyssa was very understanding and quickly moved through the process of checking in. The room came with a small kitchenette. Which was great! I was able to store food for my stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I felt so comfortable there that I booked two more nights. I was able to get the rest I needed and left refreshed. Breakfast was set out on time every morning and there was a good variety of items to choose from. The overall look of the hotel and amenities were good. I can't speak of the surroundings or nearby shopping as I didn't leave my room much. Although the hotel seems to be going through renovation, which Alyssa confirmed was happening it did not affect my stay ( I did not have a renovated room). I booked this hotel to rest and reset. I was able to do just that. I can't wait to see the new renovation. A huge thanks to manager Heather who was able to correct an error made. I was overcharged but Heather apologized and quickly rectified that problem. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would consider booking again in the future. As a person who works in customer service, I give them 5 stars for great customer service!

This is a nice out of the way place to stay. We were there for an over night event for my Granddaughters Girl Scout Troop. The staff was incredible in making sure all our need were met with very clean rooms for girls as well the adults, breakfast, the pool & play areas for the girls. Big Kudos to all the staff!! The hotel is due for an upgrade which is already in place to happen. Stop by & enjoy!!πŸ˜‰

Comfortable place to stay. Very nice and helpful staff. Short stay looks great. Long stay is below average due to cleaning once a week. Free gym and pool is great, even if they are not very big, usefull enough for the basics. Building is kind of old. If you like modern style hotels this is not your place. Breakfast is free but it is really bad and same everyday 4/jul/2022

Let me preface this review by saying, the hotel is in the process of being renovated and there is a reasonable possibility that based on your room # and reason for staying at this hotel you could have anywhere from a 1 to a 5 star experience. Mine is a 5 star review, because I had a 5 star experience. The 3rd floor is completely renovated, my room was on the 3rd floor, and it was beautiful. Full kitchen with new appliances, pots, pans, wine glasses, dishes, everything. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom and closet were great. The breakfast is included and it's pretty solid. Mostly pre-made sandwiches (egg and Swiss on English muffin, ham and egg on croissant, etc) but they also had scrambled eggs and a really good kielbasa style sausage on some days. Lots of dairy, cereal, oatmeal, and even some fresh fruit. The night and breakfast guy Sam is great. He'll bend over backwards to make sure you get whatever you need. Coffee and tea are available 24 hrs which I really appreciated because I'm a round the clock tea drinker. Overall it was an awesome stay and the staff was great. That's the 5 star review. Now had I stayed here with my family on vacation in an un-renovated room instead of a business trip in a new room, I might be leaving a different review. The pool was closed, I didn't care, but your kids might. There was noise from the renovation in the morning through maybe 6 pm, I didn't care, but your family might. So, I loved my stay, but some of the negative reviews you read might be valid too.

Alisa the front desk receptionist was so rude . She said since I booked through Priceline I do not get the same service as I would if I booked direct through them. The heat was not working in the room and Alisa did not want me help me . I was very disappointed at Alisa because I wasn’t treated right because I booked though Priceline . TO MANAGEMENT PLEASE TRAIN ALISA TO TALK YO CUSTOMERS PROPERLY!!!

The rooms were great. The banging and working at 7 am was awful no sleeping in. They didn't fix any of the problems in my room. Zoe was awful and rude. She needs a new job. The GM seemed like she didn't want to work. The early day front desk person named Ebony i believe made weird and condescending looks at people and myself whenever speaking with her. Chelsea was AMAZING. Weekend night audit Chelsea was so so phenomenal. Her and the 3rd room floors were the bright spots.

Excellent hotel stay. Nice room, great breakfast and Chelsea at the front desk was terrific. She gave me excellent directions, and was helpful in every way to make my stay so enjoyable.

The hotel and staff were very helpful and kind when allowing my son to settle down while he went to the GM internship. The location is excellent as it it hardly a few minutes walk to the nearest entrance to the GM Warren Tech Center. The manager, Heather was super helpful and she went beyond her remit to check on my son and ensure that he was comfortable. The hotel amenities including the full kitchen was also very useful. There is a huge smart TV in each room and it was a pleasure staying there. Highly recommend!

Arrived at the hotel to find a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. I told the receptionist who was working at 9:59 p.m on 6/15/2022, her response was "okay". You would think after paying $166 for a room the least they could do is make sure the dishes are clean.

I give this place 4 for 3 reasons. 1. The breakfast WAS NOT tasty. Unfortunately I had to throw it away. 2. There was an open soap and used shampoo bottle in the bathroom. 3. My husband and I woke up with out backs hurting from the bed. When we informed the attendant about the bed she did apologize and stated they are about to remodel the hotel. She did offer us something free from the snack station for the I convience.

Nice room when it was new as it had a fireplace, hot tub, and a separate bedroom. However, the room was damp and musty with odd white stains on the carpet. I didn't check out any of the features of the room due to many reasons.

Mattress was really hard, like I'm just shy of 300lbs and I thought it was hard, so for someone half my size it would be like sleeping on concrete. The A/C was also impossible to set at a comfortable setting, turn it up to cool off in the day and you'll be freezing at night. Staff was friendly though.

The room we had had a foot long tear in the curtains, lamp shade had hole in it like it was old. Sofa bed will only sleep ONE person. VERY tiny. Customer service was wonderful even tho they had a problem w/no internet so could t check anybody in. They were however as helpful as they could b & tried very hard to make r stay good even w/their internet issue.

The room was dirty, in disrepair and depressing. The couch was stained, the light switches were filthy, the bath tub was decaying and food was ground into the thread bare carpeting. I have no idea how this hotel could have a 4.2 google rating.
