Holiday Inn Express Warren, Michigan was a great stay and a good price. Location convenient to the expressway. The room was good and standard to the hotel brand. * My only comment would be at this location, I wished the main window in the room was larger to provide more "natural light". For me, the rooms were too dark, not enough natural light. Other than that, a great hotel with comfortable beds... you'll get a great night's sleep.

When I arrived around 11 p.m., the lady at the counter was rude. Other than that, that hotel was amazing. I think the lady named Shawn was working by the breakfast department was so helpful. I really appreciate her. My room was 104, and it was really, really clean. I recommend this hotel because of the cleanness and the area is safe. I felt really safe and comfortable here.

Awesome room! The service was great and staff was super friendly. The location is very convenient and was perfect. The staff even gave us an extended check out. 10/10 would recommend.

It is rare for me to leave a negative review. I almost exclusively leave positive reviews via google and just chose not to use a business again when I have had a bad experience. However I do think people should be aware before making a booking at this hotel. This hotel does not enforce quiet hours after 9pm, making it difficult for people traveling for work. During my eight night stay, four of those nights were shared with a group of guests who routinely slammed doors, yelled down the hallway to other rooms, and allowed their youth to run up and down the hall making noise from 10pm-2am. I travel with earplugs and can sleep through a good amount of noise- this was incredibly excessive and noted by the front desk on multiple occasions. Additionally, I believe that at some point before a remodel the hotel must have allowed smoking in certain rooms. The first room I was given smelled like an ashtray. The second room was heavily perfumed by a spray that wore off during the course of the week, leaving a strong musty and moldy smell. The front desk staff was always professional and polite when I interacted with them. The location is easy for commuting purposes since it is located near the interstate. I had no issues with cleanliness in the room or the rest of the hotel.

I wish I had looked into the reviews a little more in depth. The bed linings were the absolute worst!!!!!! There were stains on the bed sheets, hair on the pillows, hair on the sheets and pretty much awful!!!!! We had to ask for spare sheets and that we shouldn’t have to do because putting clean linen on isn’t my job as a customer. There also appeared to be fresh dry blood on one of the pillow cases. The laundry service who cleans the linen is horrible as some of the linen had obvious burnt marks on it. The room felt damp and so that gave it a moldy mildew sort of smell. I will never stay here again and have never left a hotel before check out but here I did. I would have rather sleep in the vehicle but my husband said it’s unsafe. I would give it no stars but I think you have to select at least one. The staff was nice but I would take cleanliness over politenesses if I had to choose. It’s about comfort where you lay your head.

This Holiday Inn Express was simple great! I gave it a five starts for everything truly. The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was really good and honestly the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel stay. Location was right off the highway numerous food places around in walking distance was a huge bonus. Doors lock after a certain time so not anyone can just enter the hotel at night. (room key card needed to gain access back) was pretty nice feature for safety. Hotel was clean, room was spacious and clean, walls were a bit thin and could hear other families in their rooms but nothing too drastic. The cleaning ladies were amazing. The meeting rooms were spacious as it held 3 teams in there comfortably. Billy was phenomenal!!

I decided to stay here due to a state wide power outage. I booked through a third party and when I arrived I checked in with the General Manager Marcus. He was very professional and polite and made the check in process easy. Billy who is the Front Office Manager was also very professional and helpful with the check out process... The hotel is located right off the express way which is convenient and accessible to locate businesses in the area. I would certainly stay here again.

This was probably the best hotel experience I have had in years in visiting the northeast suburbs of Detroit. I would highly recommend the location because you have easy and quick access to the entire metropolitan area using either freeways for surface streets. I traveled a lot into downtown Detroit, to Hamtramck, east to the lake and river, and north past Romeo. I was easy to travel anywhere. The room and bed were very comfortable. The breakfast offerings were quite good and varied slightly each day, which is good. My only concern is with the tub/shower. When wet the tub was somewhat slippery. There were a few times I felt concerned about slipping. I'm sure others could find it uncomfortable with with risk of falling. I would suggest adding some form of anti-slip safety slips to the bottom of the tub. Other than that I will be back at the location for pretty much every time I need to visit the area. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit, or pass through the northeast Detroit suburbs.

Breakfast is the best example of a hotel breakfast I've experienced. The pool has not been opened yet. Didn't even have a cover on it I wouldn't swim in it for sanitary reasons. Cleaning crew are helpful. They did a decent job accommodating my family for the time I spent there.

Had a good stay. The breakfast setup was nice. The room was noisy. Could hear above and around rooms noises. Place was just about full the night we stayed. The pool was cold. Could not swim, and it was an 80-degree day.

Clean hotel. Check-in was made super easy and fast by Billy. And check-out was just as fast (I didn’t catch the young womans name sorry!). Only thing was our room wasn’t clean each morning. I was there for 3 nights. My last day the cleaning lady knocked on my door, but I was about to head out so she said she’d come back in an hour as I requested. I was out all day and when I arrived back at my hotel my room was like cleaned or fresh sheets or towels were not provided. However the gentlemen at the front desk that night was very quick and nice to give me new sheets and towels when I asked. Overall, no issues. Area has plenty of food joints, gas station and close to the highway.

I was in the area for work. The shower and sink had not been cleaned in my room. There was hair everywhere. The alarm clock in the room went off at 4:45am every morning even when I shut it off. I had stayed 4 days and the night before I checked out someone broke into my car. They didn’t get anything valuable but when I let the hotel know about it they said there were no cameras outside the building and security was only around on the weekends. Very disappointed in the service I received when I reported to the hotel manager. This place is not safe!

Rooms were clean and well priced. Two areas for improvement: free breakfast would be nice, there is a restaurant but not all rooms included the option for free breakfast. The pool is only open from 9am-9pm, I wish they would stay open longer: 7am-10pm would be ideal.

Honestly was nervous to stay here at first, but I winded up loving it and having an awesome experience! It is very quiet- not any loud music or any of that sort. The free breakfast is awesome! Includes pancakes, omelette sausages etc. The room was clean ! Average size. The staff is very helpful as well:). I’ve found my new hotel spot .

Getting the reservation was easy and fast and the room was ready when I needed it. It was clean and in good shape, and everything worked perfectly. The continental breakfast was hot & fresh and the coffee was good.

Really clean and convenient hotel! Literally right off the Hoover exit of I-696 so easy to find and to get where you want to go. I've had my fair share of free breakfasts at hotels. This one is basic and solid, which is what one would want and expect. Spacious, two story lobby with plenty of tables enjoy your food. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Great value for the price.

Nicely appointed rooms. Clean, free breakfast buffet. Good location- you can stroll over to Tim Hortons's or Popeyes. I found this hotel had everything I needed for my quick trip to the Motor City.

The staff and manager are as good as can be. Very accommodating and very attentive to the customers request. More washers and dryers could be added. But management, staff and hotel keep me coming back for my business needs. I sleep well here! Bernard

Really enjoyed my stay here! From the check-in counter, lobby, to the room, sheets, bathroom, everything was clean. Loved the shampoo and conditioner that was provided as well. I was happy the room came with a mini fridge and microwave. The staff were all friendly, especially Sunny! He was quick, very pleasant to speak to, and overall, really great.

We stayed 2 weeks and had a good time. Rooms are spacious and with a desk for working, TV worked fine always and had good variety of channels. Breakfast is good, we would just have liked more that they added more variety to the food options. After two weeks it was very hard to get always the same. We had some issues in our room, but maintenance came quick and fixed always all of the issues and always was very polite. We are thankful for that!

The front desk agents and manager were very kind, knowledgeable about the hotel, and excellent in hospitality experience. Their smiling faces made me smile and that means a lot because the front desk is the first people you connect with in a hotel. The rooms are very clean and inviting! The hallways and main areas are very clean! The housekeepers are very helpful and did a great job on my room! I appreciate the professionalism and standard of care they gave my family and I.

Nice hotel, happy with the accomodations. Everyone was super friendly. Stayed because St. John ascension hospital recommended it. It's still kinda far away from the hospital so wake up early especially if your needing an Uber because Uber takes awhile to find you a ride from the hotel to the hospital.

I'm a local Google guide, I do NOT receive any incentives for my reviews. They're strictly based off my own experiences. Not bad. Very nice rooms for the price. Mostly nice staff. One lady kept a weird look on her face. The rest of the staff seemed very nice. There was one man in general that was just so so kind and PROFESSIONAL he needs to be working some where 4 stars and up where they tip staff. But seriously the lady was so off putting. The walls are thin lol I could hear the lady next door moaning all night lol 🤷🏼‍♀️ the female employee is the reason for 1.5 missing Stars and the moaning another half a star. I probably would've given the full five stars if it was just the noise as you can't really help that. Were not talking about an expensive hotel, and it is in a worn down city that has a customer base that fits it. As for the female employee; had she actually spoken to me instead of the gentleman next to her stepping up, interrupting and promptly taking care of me, I feel id have an even worse opinion of her lol Sn the front area is not well shoveled and very very slippery. Esp in 6in heels. I actually took off my red bottoms and put ugg boots on the 2nd time I walked thru because it was so slippery. I had to walk that path every time went out to smoke.

Incredibly kind and outgoing staff. (Sunny was warm & welcoming. VERY polite!) Clean property inside and out. LOVED having the coffee available, all day, in the lobby! Beds weren't too comfortable, and the AC wasn't working, making it a little warmer that we prefer. But overall, great stay!

Stayed one night for a hockey game and although the room was fine and staff friendly, our whole floor smelled like weed. It was the first floor so you know the staff smelled it too. The next morning I used the gym that was very very small and dirty! Dust bunnies and dead bugs everywhere. Won’t be using that hotel again.
