    The food was overcooked and the restaurant is in terrible shape. In spite of the home made "check the lobby" signs hanging for the employees, the lobby was very messy. Half of all of our food couldn't be eaten because it was fried way too long. We wont be back.

    I am one to very rarely make a review, but if I do decide to actually take the time out and say something was bad...Trust me, IT WAS BAD! Not just one time either, but multiple experiences at this place. I visit every so many months, with hopes that it will be at least a decent average experience because this is location is like one of only two in all of Michigan. 1. I've gotten sick after eating the chicken planks here, twice. 2. Customer service is non existent. 3. If you think the employees here are washing their hands, and being sanitary with your food here, you're fooling yourself. Which is probably most fast food places tbh, but there has to be a standard...and this place on 8 mile just doesn't meet that. another review suggest tearing this place down. I can't say that I disagree.

    Not a very inviting establishment since they only do drive thru orders and the outside grounds are grungy. Mgr asked if I wanted to partipate in a survey while I waited for my order. I said OK and the Mgr asked for my phone so that THEY would complete a Google survey; REALLY ? SORRY, I'm not giving my phone to anyone, and this is MY survey opinion: skip LJS and go somewhere else.

    Today I was door dash for a customer yhe inside was close why not sure and the sign said go to drive thru. I went to drive thru and stop at window. Someone was in front. Then it was my turn. The owner said are you here for door dash I stated yes and showed my phone . the owner said the name then said next time stop at the speaker and I replied uh-huh and asked so how long for the order. She then got upset at me for asking how long. Then asked me rudely am I okay. I said I'm just here for the order are you okay. She then said you wont get the order then slammed the window and locked it but first said she's the owner too. So I was like the owner with a scarf on her head not a hair net. Called door dash and started to record for proof the owner came back to the window recording and called the police because I was still there recording for proof and waiting for door dash to cancel order. Now I just she thought I would drop it but I was going to report her and her terrible restaurant service. After 10mins police came two cars and four police now I'm still waiting for door dash to cancel order. And by this time they are talking to the ownerand she told them she wouldn't give me the order and didn't give a reason why which I was advise by door dash. Also it was just me in the car young black female 5'1 . I spoke with police they understood what i was doing and why. Told once finished my call then i can leaving door dash is documentary everything. 5 more mins pass the police said the owner wants you to leave and no longer welcome. Please dont give your money to someone like this . So sad it's your own race will try to see hurt for what...nothing. Police beening called on for nothing is very sad and shows how tax money spend on stupidity.

    First off the service was horrible, after I placed my order I waited 30 minutes @ the window for my food. No one came to the window to say it will be while on my food or anything. I watched employees just holding conversations amongst themselves with no regard to me waiting on my food. The final straw was when the woman comes with my food she sits it down & starts a conversation with another employee, are you freaking kidding me. Now when she gives me my food finally there's no thank you sorry for the delay would you like a free pop nothing. Now to my surprise they did put some extra pieces of chicken in my order, but I will not be going back.

    As usual, the food was delicious. I was sleepy after eating. Only complaints are that the girl at the register put a straw in my cup without my permission. Did not like that and it was kind of unsanitary. Other complaint is that only beverages offered with the combo meals are sugary fountain drinks. I asked for bottled water. They did not have bottled water.

    I order online for a pickup. As advertised i am suppose to be able to pass the line and pick up fresh food. Instead I was forced to wait over 20 minutes in the drive thru while my food got cold. Now I have soggy shrimp and chicken that is barely even warm. And when I told the lady in the drive thru that my order isn't even warm she shrugged her shoulders and said well its been sitting there waiting for you. I told her i had been in line for over 20 minutes waiting and she told me there was nothing she could do. So besides the cold food, false advertising and overall bad attitude of the staff i was also told there was nothing they could do to give me good customer service.

    Very slow. Stuck in line for a good thirty minutes. No way to pull out of drive thru. Also, how does a fish joint have no tartar sauce.

    Unable to order due to lobby being locked at 5:45 pm and drive thru only. Drive thru was extremely SLOW and not very safe, meaning one way in and way out. The parking lot and entire area was dark and not very safe for customers.

    The drive-up window was in the back and seemed scary especially with the overgrown bushes swiping my car. The fish was mushy and the hush puppies were hard. I asked for cocktail sauce and recieved a teaspoon in a little cup. The fries weren't quite done and I didn't eat them. I will never go there again!

    Soooo good. The chicken, shrimp, fish are some of the best I have had. Good price. I eat it after I have given birth. That's usually when I have a taste for Long John Silvers.

    It's been awhile since I experienced Long John Slivers. I ordered the $10 shrimp deal and the food was actually good. The grilled shrimp must be good as well because they're sold out🤨🤨

    We wanted to eat inside, but the inside was closed. We went to the drive through and "Javion G" could not have been more rude! I ordered a #10 (also ordered a side of clams) and for my side I just wanted extra hushpuppies...he said he doesn't have extra. I asked if I could pay for an additional side of hushpuppies and he said they take an hour to make more and I'd have to wait. I've worked in restaurants, and it literally takes about 5 minutes to make hushpuppies....so, he lied. We got our food and drove away only to find out i didnt receive the clams that i paid for. I've never seen anyone go out of their way to NOT make money for the company they work for. The service at this location was disgusting, I'll never go back!

    We did an online order and picked it up ourselves. When we arrived at Long John Silver's there were notes posted on the front window and doors stating that you must go through the drive thru to pick up online orders. There were 3 cars ahead of us in line. We arrived at 6:02 and our order was ready for pickup at 6:00. But, because we were forced to wait in the drive through, we didn't get our order until 6:33. Which means our food was sitting there for over a half an hour getting cold and soggy. The manager told us that it was just made and fresh. That was a lie! The food was some of the worst I've ever had. We will never go back to the Warren Long John Silver's again!

    Had to use drive thru. I haven't had Long John Silver's in years. Hushpuppies still taste like they did last time I ate them. Fish sandwich was a little salty for me. It also didn't have tartar sauce. Just fish on a bun. I'll be back for the hushpuppies.

    It's a little wait because they're frying your food fresh. The cashier at the window was friendly and the fish was hot and tasty!!! Will definitely be back. Was drive thru only when I visited.

    I stopped to get a pizza for my daughter and myself. It took me a while to get home so the pizza was cold which made me heat and up in the microwave and it was not so delectable.

    Definitely not what it used to be when they were competing with Arthur treachers the batter is still crunchy but salty for those who have high blood pressure would not recommend this restaurant also the prices have become let's say overwhelming the product does not match the value I rather go to a fresh fish market

    Went through drive thru and there was a sweet kind soft voice young lady very kind and great service I'll go again , one thing though the drive thru is a bit tight if you have a big vehicle like a jeep or 4×4 go through at your own risk

    All food was overly salted. I had fish hush puppies, fries and coleslaw. I was afraid to try the coleslaw because the dressing on the slaw had become watery and had separated like spoiled milk. When asking for tartar sauce, we go what looked like maybe a teaspoon dispensed in a small plastic container. The owner of this business is obviously not giving his help quality instructions nor quality food

    Food was tasty can't lie the building looks run down so I was iffy but the food was fresh. My order took a little longer due to shrimp and manager gave me some extra shrimp. I'd definitely go back. Lol, I only have taste for Long John Silver every bule moon.
