Update: August 2022 - had dinner. Chili delicious and The Belgium corned beef - soooo good and corned beef lean with no fat. We have been here several times over the years. They have completely renovated the bar and expanded their smoked meat. While we have not eaten here yet, we hope to soon. Kelly Joe the Bartender is excellent and super friendly. Looking forward to going back.

The food here is very consistently good. They have made so many improvements over the past few years! They do specials almost every day, and on top of having some really good food, the staff is super nice and attentive. Definitely come check it out!

They had a ½ pound burger with brisket in it. I may be a single guy, but having tasted this burger I'm pretty sure that's what love feels like. Loss of stars though because the lady taking my order asked me if I wanted to try her soup, and then charged me for it. I thought I was getting a sample. Won't fall for that one again. I had the Maverick burger though, with cheddar subbed for the pepper jack, and it was amazing! I picked up the classic burger for my boss and he said he'd rather have Five Guys. Some people just don't have good taste though. Anyways, I'm planning on going back here again. I seriously cut this burger in half and ate it in two sittings though. But it was good at lunch and again later for dinner! For those wondering about the Victory Soup, it was great! It was thicker like a chowder, great for colder weather and was just really satisfying. My only complaint with it was the way it was advertised to me at the counter as I thought I was getting a small sample for free. The serving size (cup) was decent for the $4 I was charged and it tasted great. I just didn't realize I was getting a full serving and was paying for it. Just some confusion at the counter.

Order her for work everyone lived there food and the customer service was top tier. Definitely would recommend to anyone who ask about bbq in metro detroit. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and plan to visit for a sit down visit.

Affordable prices and good food! You order at the counter, they give you a number, then the food is delivered to your seat. A waitress will handle the bill when you are done eating. There is a decent sized parking lot attached to the building. Good for a quick lunch!

This food was absolutely AMAZING! I got the pick 2; Brisket & Burnt Ends with baked beans & Mac n’ Chz. The meat was perfectly smoked, you can even see the beautiful red smoke lines and could tear the meat apart with a fork. The staff was so generous, greeting us as we walked in, the bartender was over the top friendly. It was such a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning!

Classic local spot for drinks and good food. While still honoring its roots as a traditional bar frequented by a lot of “regulars,” they have upped their food game with in smoke house barbecue and more choices on the menu. The service staff is always friendly and attentive.

Really enjoyed what we had, a lot of food for a lunch, great tasting. The brisket was on the dry side, but the pork was perfect. Been 5 years since I last visited, will not be 5 before I go back.

I got the pulled pork sandwich, brisket, chili and a snickerdoodle. The pulled pork was good, it wasnt dry and was cooked really well. It didn't seem like they used much seasoning but the smoke flavor was heavy. They forgot my coleslaw tho, so it didn't get to put that on my sandwich how I like it. The sweet bbq sauce was good too. The brisket had a good bark on it, smoke flavor was stood out, but again I didn't taste much seasoning. It was juicy like I like it but it wasn't dry either, very tender. I think somebody put their whole entire foot in that chili. Best chili I've had in quite some time! Very flavorful, not too spicy, not too many beans, it was just right. The cookie was good too. Some homemade sweet tea would've taken this meal all the way there. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Warren.

The tri tip sirloin was SO juicy and the fish tacos were the bomb.com. My sister really enjoyed the brisket. I want to *preface* that I like the tang of kfc coleslaw and my expectation of corn bread is also the good good kfc had back in the day.. so to me personally the coleslaw and cornbread is nothing to write home about.

Liked it much better the old fashioned way, was more relaxing now it's kind of loud always steak fries are delicious but it was so much nicer when the burgers were six to seven dollars with a bag of better made prices pretty high now I understand the new kitchen and economy but seemed more chill the original way. Even Bev is now nonstop busy otherwise still a cool place!

My husband and I love coming here! The service is always perfect (shoutout to Amber!) and the BBQ is SOOO delicious. We always leave here feeling so happy and full and looking forward to the next time we get to visit!

I'm not sure if this is just to this place thing but it seemed like all the pulled pork on me and my daughter sandwich was less than room temperature and I really don't think they know how to do fried okra right but the sauce was awesome

The pulled pork brisket sandwich was delicious. The meat was juicy and tender, with just the right amount of smoky flavor. The bun was soft and held the filling together perfectly. The toppings added the perfect amount of freshness and crunch to the sandwich. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and highly recommended. Prices and service are great.

I ordered carry out at around 6pm, st.louis style ribs, burnt ends, brisket, and sausages, also for the sides I got mac and cheese and colslaw. My issue was that the coleslaw was in a tiny condiment container and also the ribs were very dry with no flavor, burnt ends were edible, brisket was decent, and the rest was ok. Oh, and I also got the steak fries.

Ordered full slab of St Louis ribs. Absolutely disgusting. Not a shred of seasoning was on those ribs. Inedible. This place has gown down. Mac and cheese was mealy and one note. Done with them.

I have ordered takeout for off site business meetings twice. Once for breakfast & once for lunch. They were accommodating for my special request. They had my large order ready on time & packaged nicely so that it could easily be put into the car. Everyone at the meeting really appreciated the food & commented how good it was & that the meat portions were generous. Thank you for making me look good to my customer.

The Smoked Turkey was the sleeper. Everything was fresh and delicious but the turkey was so good. It took me by surprise. The beans were perfect and the Mac n cheese was so tasty. Corn bread, greens, slaw, very good. Usual suspects of brisket, pork, ends ribs were the best I've had since i left Texas. A really great value too.

Fantastic bbq. They sold out of Baby Bavk ribs, which was disappointing, but we still enjoyed the St. Louis ribs, brisket, and sausage. A lovely lady at the ordering was exceptionally lovely. She desired our tip, and I hope she received it Atmosphere... It's a bar. We still enjoy our meal.

When the entire Eastside is coming to your place to eat, call Bev at Victory Inn. 6 slabs of ribs and 5 lbs of pulled pork later and the whole house ate good! Thank you Bev, everything was AMAZING.

Once again had another great take home meal. For under $50 I have enough food for two days. I love that the owner bev is behind the register taking orders and greeting people. Love this local place.

Everything looked very neat and tasty, although the prices were too high. The smallest price I saw was $16.00. I wasn't able to buy anything, but I do appreciate that they let me wait inside for my driver to arrive so that I could leave safely. Thank you.

Food was delicious! Marilyn was a terrific server. Very kind and attentive. Particularly recommend the brisket with the spicy sauce. Honey Bee cocktail was also very good :)

First time here, we ordered our food to go and everything was delicious. We walked in around 8 on a Saturday night and the three man band was a little loud. The setup was also a surprise. You order at the counter and I believe if you eat there they bring your food to your table when it's ready.

BBQ was awesome here! A non-expected diamond in the rough! Best BBQ around. The meats were all VERY LEAN & TENDER! Actually, no fat at all on the brisket or pulled pork! Prices were reasonable for the quality of the meats! The BBQ sauces were all good. Didn't really love the cafeteria style food line ordering. Especially when the line is long. It's just not very handicap friendly. Once you finally do order, the good comes out reasonably quick.

The service was amazing! Everyone is so friendly and patience! Customer serive is 5stars. They all made sure we were taken care of. The food is a must run don't walk moment. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Especially the burnt tips!!!!!

I haven't been here for years but I'm impressed with the expansion/upgrades they've done. They now have fries, but that isn't as awesome as the tasty smoked BBQ they are still serving. Bev has done a great job with her establishment and her commitment to providing for her guests is top notch. No longer a 4 star bar with good food, it's now a 5 star bar or restaurant, whichever you prefer to see it as. I see it as both. Highly recommend 👌

Some of the best burgers around and that's not even their specialty. I haven't tried their various smoked meats but I've heard nothing but praise. Great atmosphere and good beer too can't beat it

  • 3/5 Justin R. 1 year ago on Google
The atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is wonderful and fast. I loved my 1/2 pound victory burger after I picked off the 0.25 pound of pure fat. I don't like fat, the chewy/slimy texture of it, makes me feel like im trying to swallow a massive booger, gross. Other than the fat the burger was excellent. The wife got the rips and pulled pork (all of their meet is smoked). She loved the pulled pork but not the ribs. In other words, if you love juicy ribs that fall off the bone then don't come here. They were dry with what seemed like a rubbed on flavor.
