Not gonna lie to yall this is a tough review for me lol. I’ve eaten here a bunch, it’s nothing special but it’s decent food, decent prices, and decent atmosphere. The quality of everything has been steadily dropping after each visit and last night was the final nail in the coffin. While eating i spotted a roach crawling on the wall right next to me, immediate turn off. El patio was always a decent place but after seeing a roach there… i probably won’t come back :(

El Patio is my partner n I's favorite Mexican restaurant in the Detroit metro area. We make the drive from Highland Park to eat there. Finding Mexican food that is vegan, tasty, and not minimized is difficult. We like that both the rice n beans are vegan here, as sometimes Mexican restaurants will use chicken stock in rice or lard in the beans. We always get veggie fajitas and we love the vegetable selection (more than just peppers n onions!) The guacamole is [usually] fresh. And the price is excellent, there's not many places we can go as vegans and eat for around 20$.

We usually come here sunday after church. About 13 of us eat here. 7 adults and the rest age 11 and under and it feeds all of us at a decent price. Friendly service and great food. Texana is delicious! So Are the fajitas. Just celebrated a birthday here and everything was amazing. Service is great and they accommodated 16 of us.

Walked in & ordered carryout 3 beef tacos & they were cold when I got to the office a block away. Beef was not even cooked. Manager states he needs tacos back to give me my money back. I’m stuck with no lunch now because I had to go back to work. Can’t leave again to take Tacos back. Disgusting! Don’t need food poisoning on top of it. Wont ever eat here again 🤮

Nothing to write home about. Not impressed. Waiter forgot my rice, didn't ask but you should know what is to be served. Absolutely no table side manner, took our order brought it and checked once with not much verbal conversation. Not expecting much from a server but that was ridiculous. Food was mediocre, service eh. Won't go back

We first discovered this amazing restaurant in Novi and having moved to the east side this very lovely ALWAYS delicious place is our THE spot fot Mexican dining.

I go to have a very nice Mexican meal here at least once a month and I can never get tired of the meals. A wonderful menu. always fresh and hot and the wait time is very short to get your diner. The California margherita is the bomb!!!!

We recently visited this restaurant for having lunch their pricing is really competitive. Food was good and we enjoyed it also we will visit again. Only thing was the staff was speaking in Spanish with us which we were not getting.

i called to order just a regular chicken nacho which on the menu is 7.99 and over the phone he told me 11.99 I CALLED BACK TO ASK why my price was so high THE GUY KEPT PICKING UP AND HANGING UP ON ME LIKE 5 TIMES UNTIL I CALLED FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER he told me he charged me 2$ for the hot sauce which was supposed been free with the nachoes like it was before my first time ordering. i ordered some chicken nachoes before maybe two weeks ago and again it was 7.99 i was charged 19 something for two and the sauces were free BOTTOM LINE DONT EAT HERE THEY ARE RAISING THEY PRICES EVERYTIME U ORDER FROM HERE I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN AND DONT RECOMMEND NOONE TO EAT HERE!!!

This is our favorite local go-to Mexican spot! Service is fast, food is hot and delicious, and their margaritas are strong & consistent. My husband and I always order the parillada fajitas and one other dinner and we always have leftovers. We bring our family and friends here we like it so much. I would recommend dining in vs carryout if possible. You get free chips & salsa and a bit larger portions.

Food is VERY GOOD and Flavorful. Portions are perfect, you don’t feel heavy after eating here. The service is very chill and attentive. From LA where we have good legit Mexican food and this place is just as good as there.

Food arrived quickly, but little care was put into what we ordered. The burrito was a tortilla rolled around meat with toppings on top. The tostada was soggy and meat was barely warm. Salsa and chips were delicious! Service and atmosphere were very good.

VERY impressed with this place. excellent food, excellent margarita, EXCELLENT prices. service could be a tad better considering how few customers were there but overall a fantastic restaurant that i couldn’t possibly recommend highly enough.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Troy area. great food at reasonable prices. I specially like their Fajitas. very good portions and the food is fresh. The restaurant has a typical mexican themed decor and music.

The food was average. Service was very bad. They served food with meat when we had specifically ordered vegetarian. We left the tip section blank as we were not interested to tip because of the way the service was and they mixed up the order. But the filled in money and debited the tip amount

We haven't been here in awhile, and it turns out it was as good as I remembered. Food was great, service was reasonably quick, and everyone was pleasant and polite. Now this part of the review is kinda off the wall...but I'm sharing it anyway. More than once, when using the restroom, I've noticed I could hear the kitchen noises in there. They play totally different music in the kitchen. Like electro thumping, deep bass drops, dance club stuff. Now out in the dining area the music is traditional old time Mexican music. I got such a kick out of that! Now I don't mind the dining room music at all, but I think I'd prefer what's playing in the kitchen, personally, lolol. Just sounds fun, ya know?

I ordered a taco salad for carryout and was greeted upon entering! Nice decor and atmosphere but food was not satisfying. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.The meat was flavorless. I won't be returning. Cute restaurant though!

I love this place. Me and a good friend go here all the time. Food is consistent and always hits the spot. If you're of age, this is a great place to get a margarita. I'd recommend the mango flavor.

We recently dined at their Big Beaver Rd location. From the second you walk in the door you take in the wonderful aroma and hospitality. The full menu and food were amazing as well as the outstanding service. This is the best Mexican Cuisine I have had in 40 years. Great job Amigos 😎

I love the Farmington Hills location. But this Troy location’s service sucks. Ruined my birthday. I’ll never go to this one again. One of the drink was wrong. The server didn’t come back around so we didn’t even get to order food and decided to pay for the drinks and leave. 1 star for the one great margarita and 2 star for the cute fishes

Chili Verde was my Mother’s go to, most requested meal in our house growing up. I’m glad she will never read this because this place has the best Chili Verde I have ever had! Highly recommend. I will definitely come back here when we visit the area again.

Amazing prices, amazing margaritas, and even better food. The waiter's are always very nice and attentive. I love the music and the big fish tank!

Our favorite Mexican food. So good! Love to order and have a beer while waiting for carry out.

I have only visited this place once but I did enjoy my experience there. It's hard to give a rating because I like to see the variances in between visits so I may change my ratings again but I did enjoy myself here.

I ordered an enchilada & tamale dinner. Instead I was given two flour tortillas stuffed with chunks of rotisserie chicken. One wrapped like a burrito & the other rolled up. Both had diluted pizza sauce and mozzarella on top. I should of drove one mile up and ate at Taco Bell.

Food is decent but service was not good for us. We only saw our waiter 3 times, the last time being when he refilled our drink. We had to wait about 15 minutes after eating to finally flag someone down to bring us our check. Even after we asked for the check the guy went back towards the front then came to the table next to us to see if they needed anything and started walking away. My husband then asked him for the check again and he rudely walked away. Finally came back with the check about 5 minutes later. Other tables were being served by their waiters all around us.
