This
place
is
awful,
if
you
can
limp
yourself
a
little
further
go
to
Beaumont
or
Henry
Ford.
I
came
here
in
respiratory
distress
-
a
combination
of
(confirmed)
influenza
and
asthma.
Despite
having
O2
sats
in
the
80s
and
an
audible
wheeze
I
was
sat
in
the
waiting
room
for
15
minutes
before
a
nice
couple
threw
a
fit
to
get
me
some
help.
I
was
placed
in
a
hallway
near
a
lot
of
sick
and
elderly
patients
(which
is
the
setting
where
I
had
all
my
treatment
and
conversations
with
medical
staff),
despite
the
fact
that
these
people
were
told
I
had
confirmed
influenza.
Finally,
after
nearly
a
half
hour
of
being
there
struggling
to
breathe
I
received
a
breathing
treatment,
which
only
partially
helped
my
symptoms.
I
was
told
that
on
another
night
I
would
have
been
admitted
for
acute
asthma
exacerbation,
but
on
this
particular
night
the
hospital
was
over-full
and
couldn’t
accommodate
me.
The
doctor
wrote
me
a
script
for
promethazine
with
codeine
-
despite
the
fact
that
I’d
told
3
people
I
have
an
anaphylactic
allergy
to
codeine.
While
in
this
ER
(in
respiratory
distress)
I
never
had
an
IV
started,
never
had
anyone
take
my
medication
history,
never
had
my
temperature
taken.
This
place
is
over-crowded,
under-staffed,
and
dangerous.
