Almost 3 years post surgery - DON'T DO IT! You will end up up with alot of discomfort and weird sensations/pain etc. - I had extreme hope and confidence I picked the right doctor... such a shame. I wish there was more transparency with the ACTUAL "success rates" and what that entails. I bet my situation is considered "successful" because the hernia was fixed but no one ever hears about the side effects etc. - I consider the surgery a failure! Do yourself a favor and try no mesh doctors 1st these "mesh" doctors stand behind it and will never tell you the actual truth. I wish we could sue doctors that don't have the patients best interest in mind and lie for greed/money.

I am extremely happy and feel blessed that I was directedTo Dr. Iaccos surgical experience When dealing with diastasis recti, hernia, and abdomen wall repair. I would also like to note his excellent bedside manner and professionalism. Another thing that stands out to me when dealing with Dr. Iacco and his team/staff is that the women in the office are extremely genuine and friendly and down-to-earth. I had mixed up to appointments with them in two days and also showed up late when they finally reschedule an appointment for me. While I felt terrible and embarrassed, They were very understanding and let me know that it wasn’t the end of the world. I don’t usually leave reviews, actually I never have, for anything but these ladies in the office are definitely worth telling someone about and definitely deserve a pat on the back. My surgery turned out great and my postop visit was just as good, and after talking to the ladies as usual I left with a smile. So salute to Doc Iacco and his staff

I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr Janczyk during my first encounter with him as a patient. I am a doctor myself butI went to him for hernia consultation. He had poor bedside manners. He belittled other doctors and he undermined my genuine concern. I asked him if he would be doing my surgery in entirety by himself or if there are residents/trainees involved since I do not wish the residents or fellows to do any surgery on me. I understand teaching hospital and I understand training but in this particular surgery I did not wish trainees to work on me. I am scared of robots and it’s personal. He could have said sorry my trainees depend on me to teach them and all patients of mine have trainees experience. I would have said thank you but no thanks and left. But instead he started using cutting remarks and mocking my intelligence as well as my concern.He said « residents come and go. It’s not that I would leave to have tea with one of your colleagues while residents are doing surgery ». All I wanted was him to tell me if it was possible to not have any trainee at the console of da Vinci robot during the length of the surgery because I as a patient am not comfortable otherwise. Was I asking for too much? And he could have said no and we would have parted ways and I would look for another surgeon. But he had to be sarcastic and demeaning.

Dr. Jancyk and his staff are amazing. They treated me well when I had hernia surgery. I would recommend this place to everyone. If you have a concern with your hernia, leave it the experts and people that care! Its always a scary emotion to deal with having to undergo surgery. Extremely friendly and caring would go back if necessary.

I had my hernia repair surgery done three weeks ago by Dr. Tony Iacco. I experienced minimum discomfort immediately following the surgery because of the anesthetic. I was pleasantly surprised that after the anesthetic wore off I never required the strong painkillers that I requested a prescription for. I only used a combination of ibuprofen and Tylenol for the following several days. After my appointment yesterday I was pleased that everything is healing as anticipated and in a couple weeks I am allowed to restart my normal activities carefully. Dr. Iacco was very kind and comforting from my initial appointment through pre-surgery and at my post surgical appointment. I hope I don’t have to see him again, however I recommend him VERY highly.

Dr Iacco is an exceptional surgeon. He’s kind, compassionate, extremely professional and takes the extra steps to ensure his patients are well informed and prepared for surgery. He called to follow up post-op to ask if I was feeling better. What sets him apart from the rest is his willingness to listen to his patients and provide personalize care to ease his patient’s minds. I highly recommend you see Dr. Iacco.

Dr. Iacco and his staff were awesome from the first call. I did a lot of research before calling and it paid off. He is the Top Doc for hernia repair. Mine was a recurrence of a previous hernia repair. I was extremely concerned about the time to recover but felt fantastic after a couple of days. I have already told a bunch of people about my experience.

As someone who has great anxiety with any medical procedure, my experience with Dr Janczyk exceeded my expectations. The hernia surgery was a success and after three days I am dealing with only minor discomfort. I can’t thank him and his staff enough for making this as painless as possible. I recommend Dr Janczyk with great confidence. Thanks again!

Not sure we’re all these reviews are coming from because then i seen the doc he didn’t seem to give me much information about my umbilical hernia and didn’t act like it was that big of a deal when it’s gonna cost me so much pain and discomfort not sure…

I underwent an emergency cholecystectomy performed by Dr. Randy Janczyk on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. I had been suffering for some time with what my former PCP deemed an ulcer. I remain grateful to Dr. Janczyk and his team of surgical residents for correctly diagnosing my problem and for performing the necessary procedure in a timely fashion. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude to the skilled surgical team and to the office staff who have so kindly taken my phone calls with any questions I have had following the procedure. **Update 12/15/20 for a few random weeks 2 months after surgery, I did notice a few different and very uncomfortable aches (tugging, burning, aching, pulling and a feeling the hernia came back) in that area. Maybe the complete healing process is 6 months? Also make sure you have good insurance, total cost for this surgery was extreme... just over $35,000 and you will get a main hospital bill and billed by alot of the side doctor offices also** My experience here was great. The receptionists are exceptional and probably more polite, helpful and professional than any other receptionists I have ever experienced. Dr. Iacco was very knowledgeable and his bedside manner was great (except the post surgery follow up appointment I felt rushed like he was trying to get me out of there quickly). As far as result with my hernia repair I was pleasantly surprised how quick recovery was (the first 2 days were still terrible). I recovered very quick that I was very mobile by the 3rd day and even went on a 15 mile bike ride 2 weeks after surgery. I did notice some strange pulling (maybe muscles) and some random soreness on random days for a little over a month but just VERY minor. But here I am 2 months later more active then I was before the surgery. I am very grateful for Dr. Iacco and his expertise, the 6 months before surgery was very difficult to live in that extreme discomfort performing daily tasks. The only thing that helped ease me until surgery was drinking alcohol.

Oh wow I can’t begin to say enough good about the team of office people there and as for the doc he was and is a true god send.
