Being new to Illinois, I’ve heard of this mythical “Italian Beef” and I was wondering what the difference was/is with “pit beef”? Well..... BIG DIFFERENCE!! The Buonavolanto Family took beef and cooked it so tender and robust with flavor! Pictured is a 10” Buona Classic “Baptized” with cheese fries. Also, 7” Buona Classic on a GLUTEN FREE pita. Clean place with great and hospitable staff. Definitely a MUST!

Update 1.27.22: Please remove the Vegan bowl from your menu - it is a salty mess of peppers and your meat substitute. Leave the vegan food to the vegan restaurants. If I hadn't have ordered it to go, I would have returned it for something edible! 2021 review: Good place to get freshly made salads, burgers, pizza etc. The place is kept clean and the staff is very friendly.

Better than Portillo's! Chicago Italian beef and sausage, easily one of the best Italian sausages.

I tried the grill chicken sandwich and strawberries shake. Grill chicken had a good flavor to it juicy. Shake was thick and flavorful.

The food and service at Buona beef in Naperville was absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I got beer & wine, and shared an awesome pizza. I had a delicious cheese burger & she got a salad that had a ton of avocado and was really good. The prices are also unbeatable, I would absolutely recommend visiting!

Good lunch or dinner stop with a variety of food options from burgers, Italian beef sandwiches, salads, pizza, chicken, and more. The food comes with slightly higher prices than expected, but the quality seemed good and portions were reasonable. For beverages, they have a standard soda fountain array and additional lemonade, tea, and fruit juice option which I enjoyed. I chose their chopped chicken salad with a lite vinegar dressing. It looks to be a somewhat popular lunch stop for a quick bite, as there is a drive up as well as ample indoor and some outdoor patio seating. Parking space is ample. Next, I may try their "original and famous" Italian beef sandwich.

I like that the beef is MSG free and reasonably good. What kills me is the peppers are 10% the cost of the sandwich and you don't get any without requesting them and paying 75 cents for literally one or two peppers 🫑... 10% the cost of the sandwich just to put a couple sweet peppers on there and then if you want hot peppers, that's another 75 cents for giardiniera

I just don't appreciate peppery flavored foods and most of all chunks of fat and grizzle/cartilage in my sandwiches. I realize some people do like this kind of sandwich. So I gave 5 stars but, rated the food quality lower. So if you think you'd like to try Buona beef, please give it a go.

I asked Keelan to give me a suggestion; or rather what he would get. He asked me if I liked a little spice; and I concurred. I gotta say this so the best beef sandwich I’ve EVER had in fast food. It’s sooo tasty! So many flavors! And the service was fast! Thanks Keelan!

Delicious beef sandwiches. They have expanded their menu a little so you have more delicious items to choose from. They have also expanded the dining area since we were at this location. Always a great dining experience at Buona.

Had the cheapest and most delicious 10" personal pizza. Went back TWO more times for the Chicago Dog and Cheese Burger..Loved all of them. Wait staff is wonderful!!

To begin ..each time a service is subpar I don't feel the representatives realize the loss of future visit impact until u close the doors due to no buiness! Waited for cash register service to order as nobody saw us come in???...Restaurant had musty smell, and then when girl brought food she hit table with platter and 4 or 5 of our "PAID FOR FIES" landed on table.. No, I'm sorry, or I will bring another order just for courtesy, but instead, she just crumbled together and walked away.. Now I know why we have quit the Buona program and rarely eat here. YOUR service stinks and more than once. Too many competitors down the road with much better service to have bad experiences...minus2 out of 5..food was tasty..so you got 2.

We found a balanced menu with enough variety to satisfy any family. The restaurant exterior has never looked inviting to me and I'm not a fan of Italian beef sandwiches, so we've driven past a lot without stopping. We stopped and found the ordering process quick and delightful and the dining room comfortable and much nicer that we had imagined. We tried several dishes out of curiosity and were plesantly surprised by how good everything was - except the onion rings. I don't recomment the onion rings. We'll be stopping in again soon.

I enjoy coming to this Buona because of their quick service. The shake was tasty, and the burger and fries never disappoint. The atmosphere always feels comfortable and inviting too. Solid 5-star experience.

I always enjoy buona when I go there. It was a friendly and comfortable experience. It was really windy outside but this location has an outer shield that doesn't let the cold in when someone enters the restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was great. I had the cheese ravioli with grilled chicken added.

First time trying an Italian beef steak with the works. Oh my goodness. Im in love!!!!

I was in shock when it was 20 bucks and change for my order of 2 reg beefs and an order of fries but I was even more shocked when I got home to open up my beefs and see the extremely stingy portion of beef on my sandwich. Hey Buona, I know the cost of food has increased but why would I keep coming back when I’m only getting half a sandwich but you’re charging me for a whole one? You may have lost a very loyal customer tonight. So disappointed!

Someone working the night shift felt as if though it was okay to give me a container full of iceberg shredded lettuce instead of the mixed greens that I was supposed to be given for my old neighborhood house salad Oh lets not forget to mention they gave a stale piece of Italian bread This is the third time I have been to the Naperville rd location and didn't recieve my order how it is supposed to be

So .. I was there during the 6pm hour tonight.... The gentleman who seemed to be the m.o.d. was VERY 👍 nice and polite. When he brought my food, he kept my no bread request in mind and made my minestrone soup with no pasta. I didn't even know that was an option. Working food service is not easy and some customers have to make a damn science project out of the simplest things. Anyway..... I usually go the the one in Wheaton. This one was VERY nice tonight. Thank you

Food was good but after calling in at 5 and ordering food for 6pm. I showed up at 6:03 and I paid at 6:10. I then waited till after 625 after being told it will only be a couple minutes. I called from parking spot and asked for a manager. He asked my name and said he would check on my order then hung up. Most people would provide an answer prior to hanging up but not him. Approximately 5 minutes later he walks out, hands me the food, and says thanks in a quick and rude manner. No thank you or sorry or let me try to make this better. I asked are you not going to address the delay or anything? I was told its busy thanks. Sorry to say but they may have list a customer based on the manager and his response to a fairly easy situation to address.

Buona is consistent mid-level dining. I've been to a few locations and all have had good customer service. This location didn't miss. Beefs were good. The pasta was tasty and filling for the price.

We love Buona. The burgers are always on point. The beef& sausage bowl is great for a low carb meal. Today was frustrating because of the state of the large fry was far from full. If I'm going to pay extra for a side, it should not arrive like the flat box it once was. Do better Naperville.
