Wonderful Italian in Nailsworth. Traditional Italian food with their own family twist. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back. The pizzas were great, but the tiramisu is a must.

What a find, slightly hidden away in one of the nicest streets in Nailsworth which has a super selection of independent high quality shops sits the Amalfi Ristorante & Pizzeria. We were just visiting and needed feeding and what a lovely meal. I had Bruscetta Amalfi as a starter, one of the best l have tasted followed by a sea base dish again delicious. From a small but well balanced wine list we chose the Primitivo which was intensively flavoured with deep colour. All in all everyone found their meals most enjoyable with the service being very friendly, efficient making our meal even more enjoyable😊 February 23, another visit and once again great meal & wine and friendly service which creates a very relaxing and great family atmosphere.

We came here for lunch today and were blown away. Great customer service, delicious mouth watering food and well priced. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent first time experience and we will definitely be revisiting.

I had mushrooms ravioli and the vegetarian pizza which I thoroughly enjoyed, absolutely delicious, my husband had a taste of mine and the dreamy face said it all 😋 He had Carpaccio and said he couldn't taste the meat because it was too cold 🥶 it needed to be room temperature, followed by Breaded veal and spaghetti, he said it was (confusingly) bland and too herby - veal bland, spaghetti too herby. He does this every time, always says mine tastes better than his 😱 I'm ordering for him next time 😆

Amalfi is our Go-To destination for celebration, mid week pick up or anytime treat. I’ve taken friends and family here even a visitor from Australia and everyone was as impressed as me! Thanks for always welcoming us and for the nicest wine - just delicious ❤️❤️❤️

Visited the Amalfi for evening meal when we were staying in Nailsworth for our anniversary. Lovely restaurant, staff were helpful and friendly. Food was amazing , one of the nicest Italian meals we have had. The pasta was cooked perfectly and so full of flavour. The pizza was nice and tasty. And dessert was a nice size, the creme brulee was the nicest I've had. Definitely recommend and would visit again if we are in the area x

The best restaurant in nailsworth! Silvia is the most delightful waitress, fantastic English and looked after us very well on our 1st wedding anniversary meal. This is the restaurant to go to, every time! We have had take out before too... Fantastic!

Definitely the best restaurant around. We were a party of six and got the last available table. The place was packed, but we got our food fast and it was super delicious, real Italian dishes and vibes. The staff is super friendly, what a great evening we had.

We had an incredible Saturday night dinner at Amalfi and it is impressive to say the least. Julia was amazing and made us feel like we were sharing a meal in a family home! Julia is warm and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to come back again! Food is beautiful and I cannot recommend highly enough! Please come here and enjoy!

Staying in Nailsworth for a few days, ate out here last night. Sat on the outside tables - a little bit noisy with the road directly adjacent but that was fine. Heaters above in the roof so not cold (there is plenty of indoor space if you prefer). Food - devine! Had a very generous whitebait starter and THE most divine sea bass risotto. Wife's carbonara also delicious - she insisted on finishing it despite being stuffed. Staff extremely friendly. Well worth a visit - strongly recommend.

Came at the recommendation of another local business owner, and am very glad we did! It made for a very special last night of our holiday. We were greeted like old friends on arrival and departure, which was so nice. Service was excellent, and the food delicious. Very generous portions too! A lovely atmosphere all round.

I cannot find a single fault with our visit. The food was amazing full of flavour. It was served well presented and hot. I will definitely go back when next in the area. You will not be disappointed.

We came in on Monday evening and the place was full. We got a table outside. My wife had a sea bass risotto and I had pasta Sofia. Both were to die for. The staff was very friendly and we had an amazing time. Thank you!

4.5 Google really needs to provide half stars. A cute, comfortable and good Italian in Nailsworth. Hearty portions, good service and reasonable prices. Enjoyable evening and would recommend for anyone staying in and around Stroud.

Delicious food, helpful and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside as it was a hot day and once we moved tables we couldn’t be happier! (Our first table was right by the door and rocked due to uneven ground below). The staff were very accommodating and gave great recommendations when we were unsure which dishes to choose. I went for the tortellini ragu and my partner had the tuna steak. The food was cooked to perfection and was full of flavour. Would definitely return if we were to visit the area again.

We're a couple of older yanks touring the area by car for a week, staying at a place near Gloucester. I'm a vegan and my wife is not. I searched for vegan restaurants on our return drive from our day trip to Bath and found Amalfi. I had a vegan pizza. It has been a long time since I've had a pizza, and I thought it was very good. My wife loved her her pasta dish. It is a really nice place.

Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant located in the beautiful green scenery of Nailsworth. The pasta dishes were amazing and the tiramisu was dreamy. The cherry on top was the limoncello on the house at the end of the night! A bit on the pricey side, but entirely worth it!

I don't know the Nailsworth demographic but to me the service came across as very pretentious. For instance a specials board written in Italian and translated by waiter as if you would know what the ingredients weré. The food was average and the price above average . We were uncomfortable with the up it's own bum vibe .. We paid the service whilst at the same time we're pleased to end our briefest of visit's

Been meaning to come here for some time as looks pretty inviting from the road. Waitresses were very friendly. Service was quick. Food however was a little disappointing. Bread in the bruschetta tasted old. Chili oil had no oomph to it. Risotto lacked the creaminess that you expect and the portions were far too small. Sorry but won't be back in a hurry.
