I came here on March 31st and all over the entrance they have signs saying I need to pay $6 all year round to enter so I enter and I pay $6. after I spend about three minutes then I see another five cars entered and they did not need or have to pay anything so they just entered without any payment and I was just left there feeling hopeless. after I entered I noticed that there are barely any nice things to see. The park was very dirty and un- arranged and it smelled really bad. I tried to sit on one of the benches and eat my chicken in peace but the benches look like they haven't been touched in over 60 years.

Had a great time fishing today! Caught about 12 dinks. "5" and under bluegills" out on the ice, let them all go to grow up! but it was a beautiful day and had a blast!!! Will do it again. June 5, 2022Took the boat out today with the boys, had a nice little cruise.

There isn't much here if you don't have a boat, but it's a nice little green area with plenty of picnic spots (table, grill/fire pits). One pavilion. Restrooms that we did not visit. Minimal play equipment, just swings and a slide. Payment upon entry is electronic. Great spot for birdwatching though! We loved seeing the ospreys.

Lake was good. A bit choppy today. The State Boat Launch needs some work though. Their is a Huge 10-12 inch drop off the end of the concrete!! It gave a lot of people issues pulling their boats out!! It definitely needs some stone added to even it out and get rid of the drop!!! Didn't fish today but saw a ton of fish on my fish Finder!! Guy a late start and just cruised around the lake a few times!! Great afternoon at Silver Lake!!

Nice place to walk down ice fishing. I enjoy the clean, heated bathroom that is always open. The $6.00 park fee was a bit much though. I can get the same amenities across the lake at Mack's for free.

Small but beautiful park. Perfect place to bring your boat and have family gathering or hang out with your friends. There is a kiosk at the entrance to pay $6 to enter the area.

Terrible facilities, dirty bathrooms, place looks un kept, nothing for kids and they have the nerve to charge $6....

Had an awesome time on the lake, smaller boat launch but went by pretty quickly with how many people were there. Good place to go tubing or just hangout in the water and have lunch.

Docks are too small and don't have any bumper protection around the edges. Bathroom was clean but can only accommodate one person at a time.

Small, easy launch. A lit of seaweed in this lake. Still a nice, flat lake for towing and fishing.

If you're fishing from the bank it's a very weedy lake.

This is a public boat launch for Silver Lake, and there is a small playground/picnic area. So it’s not what you may think of when you think State Park! Restrooms are adequate. Admission is $6/vehicle 24/7 with a discount for seniors. Empire Pass for NYS parks accepted. There is an un-manned pay station at entrance.

Nice decently clean restroom ladies and men's room. Yes basic playground with a slide and swings. Yes Pavillion for picnic is nice or picnic table outside. Nice boat lunch for kayaking. Water had a bit of seed weed in it.

Very nice place. People friendly. Boat ramp line is long, but moves smoothly.

Not sure where to fish if you dont live there. A little clearer would be nice.

One of the best concrete boat ramps around with adequate docking and plenty of parking space for veh & trailers ($6 day/totally worth it). ...Nice staging area makes it easy to get in line to know when your next, & aids pulling up & backing in to launch... Bonus: Always seems to have friendly people around too

I was honestly disappointed. Since you had to pay to get in and it's representation on the map is much larger than the actual space I expected much more. Still though, as a result of these things it's a nice quiet place.

Beautiful scenery!

Beautiful evening of fishing with great friends. Caught 3 nice pike (14" - 24") and one largemouth bass. Silver Lake is the perfect place for everything from a quick evening cruise to a relaxing fishing trip. Beautiful Lake with a great atmosphere!

Nice 6 dollar to get in .Has about 5 picnic tables. Right on silver lake.

It's a really beautiful view here, the bathrooms are actually kept clean, but depending on what your doing here it might not be the best place. Like fishing or hiking, the park isn't big at all so theres no where to hike and it's extremely shallow waters so if your fishing off the side of the shore it's not good. But there's a boat ramp here to get to deeper waters to fish. There's a park for your kids and there's grills here so you can cook food on a picnic next to the wonderful Silver Lake view.

A good park to launch your boat and thats about it. One dock and sometimes there is a line.
