Busy today at the range. Plenty to see and quite a few bargains. Jubilee bunting and union jacks in good supply. Great range of plants as well as some different types of garden furniture not just the usual stuff you find most places. A quiet cafe upstairs too. Only downside was the queue to pay and only 2 tills available. Did I mention they do kitchens too?!?

Broken escalator going down Broken lift! Very difficult to get down stairs as escalator stairs are not designed to be used as ordinary stairs & step was too high & my sister had difficulty getting down as she has back problems. Also dangerous, even I felt unsafe. Then, as they were broken, we were unable to take a trolly upstairs. Some items are not clearly priced. Very disappointing. The store is run down & there clearly has been no investment. Products put everywhere, not just on shelves, so getting around the store is difficult & I would consider a health & safety issue. Will not be going again.

Love going there. Really big and convenient. Love the variety of products and most of all inexpensive.

Great store with a fantastic (RANGE) of items now including some Wilko items too.

The range offers the best variety of all kinds of stuff. Pet stuff, car stuff, household and garden furniture. The staff are extremely polite and very helpful! The range staff will also carry and bring out any big or heavy items purchased. The car park is a very decent size with plenty of disabled parking. The prices are respectable and competitive to other well known branches. Pretty much the range offers customers the opportunity to do a one stop shop. 🙌

A kid's Christmas present with many pieces missing. And a polite enquiry gets nothing but a bot (incapable, of course, of compassion!) spouting usual platitudes about needing the receipt. Sad. :-(

Lovely time getting ideas for my new home. I'll be back this week. Christmas lights look fab too

Quick recent visit to meet up with a friend for a drink and ended up having a 'breakfast' - food has got a lot better in their cafe. Most of the time I go there for specific items and 95% of the time i can get what a want in there. Staff very helpful and never have to wait too long at the check out even if there is a long queue. Can't fault them at all and now they have a selection of 'Wilko' items in the store (another place i used to like)

We popped in to see if they sold any pet products… We left with so many affordable bits and pieces and one puppy Christmas jumper that we couldn’t resist! 😆 We’ll definitely be back

Vlean tidy store. Improved with staffing levels. Early days was not a great experience... now all seems to be working better, staff seem to be more organised. Grab a coffee, and find the things you didn't know you needed...

Wonderful shop, it really has all you could want for home decor or improvements. I found the perfect frames for art work I bought in France years ago. Had a really beautiful cream tea in their cafe & even got myself a bargain in a much discounted lampshade that was missing a gemstone I happen to be in a position to replace! Great stuff...love the Range.

Range is usually great value and lots of different things. Doing a bit of a reshuffle so confusing to find things and prices not correct. Hopefully be great again soon.v

The range makes you hate everything you own. Be prepared for 100s of products that either have no price or have an incorrect price though.

Store very untidy stock on floors so hard to push trolley around had my grandkids with me and had to use a trolley for them that was dirty and rusty. Toilets also a filthy state. Cafe shut before 4pm . A very disappointing store. Will not be back.

Josh, garden department, was informative and extremely helpful..can't believe he's only been in post a couple of weeks! Absolute asset to the team along with cashier, Janie, so enthusiastic! Thank you for a lovely shopping experience and all your help!😀

Unfortunately I've been to this shop twice this week and both times, have encountered staff that was perhaps not wanting to work that day. The first time it seemed like we were spoken down too and felt like a naughty child for asking something we wasn't sure of and the next time, i thanked a worker for waited for me to go first out the door to literally be ignored. Some of the others mannerisms didnt come across as friendly either, I think maybe a word about how to welcome customers and how you speak to them wouldn't hurt, especially considering we wasn't even being funny with them. I know I won't be returning in a hurry back to this store 😞

I love the range for home furnishings and garden supplies. Some items have to be ordered and do take a couple of weeks to be delivered. The staff are always courteous and willing to help you to your car with bulky items.

Really showing its age now, rusty trollies considering you could buy clothing, bedding and towels !! Tills are a nightmare as they're around an assault course then you have no idea which queue your in only to be called to customer service to pay.. some pride in the place and a bit of organising would really help.

The Range is a great shop I jave spent £1000's there over the years..I was going to go there this morning but arrived at 09:50 thinking it opened at 10am....after waiting in the carpark for 15 mins until 10:05 a shop staff member told us they did not open till 1030 and that we are not allowed to arrive in the capark before 10am (its in the small print on the sign) so would probably recieve a £100 fine!!! It apparently is not their carpark so thats that....with that in mind I could have waited till the store opened but instead left empty handed thinking the money I was going to spend had been robbed by their parking company to the tune of £100!! ...BEWARE IF YOU VISIT THIS STORE....THEY APPOINT OTHERS TO MANAGE THEIR CAR PARK THEN WATCH AS YOU GET CAUGHT OUT BY THE SMALL PRINT ON THEIR SIGNS.

Fantastic choice a lot bigger than the one we have locally. Daughter who has just moved in to University was over the moon, virtually got everything she wanted and it was very well priced. Two happy parents

The store has everything. But on my visit I was dodging staff with huge trolleys of stock. There were cages everywhere, in some places blocking the shelves. I did ask the price on one item and the young lad stocking the shelf had no idea and made no effort to find out.

It's a really great shop for getting so many things in one place. It's just that some of the staff are a bit miserable and rude at times. Also when they have only the customer service desk open to serve customers. It makes it awkward with a trolley full of stuff. But overall it's ok.

Excellent shop. Has good variety of products. Lots of Christmas items in stock. Good variety of plants and other garden items. Well worth a visit. Parking available and wheelchair access.

Visited in the morning and no staff to help on top floor. Had to ask at the kitchen showroom and the gentleman and was very helpful and went to look for someone from the Range. Eventually customer assistant came and did apologise but disappointed item l was looking for has been discontinued. Store announcement staff kept on starting with Good afternoon even though was an hour after opening and would correct to Good morning. I always enjoy my visit to the Range each time but spent more time. Enjoyed the Christmas section.

Spent more than we planned. Lots of good items. Originally went to view garden furniture but the set we wanted to see wasn't there.

Well kept with helpful staff. Prices however do vary in terms of good value or very expensive so I'd highly suggest you double check on your phone before purchasing anything

Really nice place to shop. Never had any issues. Can be a little manic at times. Can get really busy at peak times. Ample parking . Could do with more staff especially when busy.

Needed a big fan to help keep cool in this lovely summer, so glad I did. Their stock and range (excuse the pun) was impressive, prices were excellent. I could not help myself but to explore the whole shop, what a great place with an extensive variety. Bought too much but hey, why not. Highly recommend this Range :)

Although I am pleased with the items I bought I found the shop itself was tatty, disorganised and difficult to get around. There were shopping trolleys to use these were all fairly tatty and rusty and the shop really isn't ideal for them, the aisles are too narrow and on the day we visited the lift to the next floor was out of action so when we went upstairs we had to leave our trolleys (which have £1 or a token in them) and the shopping we'd so far picked up and go up the escalator, there didn't appear to be stairs as an option and the escalator ran so fast both myself and my daughter felt faint. When we returned downstairs we found that someone had connected their trolley to one of ours which took some fiddling about swapping shopping etc in order to retrieve our £1's/tokens. With the competition from other discount type shops I feel that the Range needs to up its game......well this one does! This wasn't a good shopping experience

Absolutely brilliant customer service... Nate on arts and crafts tied my shoelace for me whilst my hands were completely full of their wonderful and relatively cheap products!! would definitely visit again :)

What about those management plonkers who decided to put all the Christmas decorations out mid September. Someone needs to knock some heads together. The last thing i want to see is a festive layout 3 months early. I will be avoiding visiting again for a while.

I will never order online a plus range product ever again. Awful customer service. They promised delivery that never arrived and when phoned to track the package 2 days after the due date for deliver I found that it wasn’t even dispatched yet !!! And they didn’t bother to send me an email to let me know….the worse part is that they still don’t know when would be deliver! So I decided to cancel my order. Well, they said they would send an email to the company sending the hammock and if they still send me the order I’ll have to refuse to accept the delibery…what about I’m not at home and they just leave it at my door? I totally recommend people to AVOID buying online for The Range!!

Great store. Lots of parking spaces. Well organized. Knowledgeable happy to help staff. There is a lift for easy access upstairs. Tearoom and clean tidy toilets. Don't forget to pop into the garden centre bit! Bargains galore. Recommend taking a list for what you need though, easy to go bit mad and spend small fortune on treasures you find 😁

  • 5/5 Brett S. 1 year ago on Google
It's the range, they have loads of stuff for one to purchase. I could just spend ages mooching about the craft section, spent about twenty mins there today. Adequate parking and good opening hours. 👌

The range is local to me and we love visiting here because there is near enough everything you will need u set one roof, and you can find some really good bargains in her for your children with arts and crafts and for the animals. We shop for our dogs in here and get some really great bargains. It’s worth a visit.

A good store with lots of stock over two floors and a small outdoor garden centre space. The cafe is also a good place to stay and have a cuppa and a bite to eat. Two aspects let the store down however, one is the staff are not very helpful or engaged with what they are doing and the second is the customer toilets.....they have to be the worst smelling and kept up toilets around, they are horrific and should be avoided at all costs. Its a shame as the store does have allot going for it, but work clearly needed to be done.
