I had an excellent experience with Sound Sleep Medical in Layton. Brittany got me In to my appointment quickly And was very responsive to my questions and requests. Dave Was able to answer all my questions, and explain The various aspects of a mandibular advancement device. It was quick and easy, and I recommend them.

I received a friendly greeting as I entered their offices. The office personnel was thorough with instructions. Dave was very caring and attentive towards my situation when he explained the services that he offered. He was gentle as he performed the mouth scan. I was pleased with the appointment.

Very informative! I learned new things that I needed to do to adjust the device every few weeks for a better fit. Maybe even better comfort. Thanks, Fred

Sound Sleep Medical was great to work with during the entire process of figuring out how to eliminate my snoring and finally get better sleep after 15 years of never being able to sleep through the night.

Platinum level customer service from Dave Stephens. He's like the good neighbor everyone would like to have. He sincerely cared about my sleep quality and overall wellness. I started my sleep care journey with a sleep test through Sound Sleep and one through a sleep medicine office in a hospital. Sounds Sleep did the testing and a helpful consultation at no charge. The process at the hospital office cost me over $700 with insurance. They didn't offer personalized guidance like Sound Sleep did. However, similar to Sound Sleep, the hospital clinic attributed my moderate apnea to airway obstruction. I opted to try a mouthpiece through Sound Sleep rather than CPAP through the in-hospital clinic. Dave was great to follow up, offer tips, make mouthpiece adjustments, and respond to questions. Dave gave me advance notice, but to put it out there, it took me about 1.5 weeks to get used to the mouthpiece. It's uncomfortable at first and I appreciated Dave checking in. With the mouthpiece supporting an open airway, my sleep quality wasn't improving. Dave had me do two additional sleep studies and he uncovered that my particular issue is Central Sleep Apnea (my brain not telling me to breathe often enough while I'm asleep). It turns out the mouthpiece wasn't the right solution for me. After determining this, Dave referred me to specialists who treat Central Apnea. He issued me a partial refund for the mouthpiece (no other healthcare organization that I know of will stand behind their services like this), and he proactively emailed me the full reports from the sleep studies so I could easily send them to the next provider I go to.

Explained in detail about the devices, and the costs of everything. Very easy to get the mold done too.
