PRODUCT: Extremely delicious coffee. Clearly well made, and they come in 12oz and 20z sizes. I'm usually a 16oz gal and got a 12; almost went back for an additional 20 because it was that good. Definitely one of the top 3 best coffees I've had in all of Salt Lake. SERVICE: Very friendly service, and the employees appear to be having a great time (whether through body language or tone). The guy who made my drink even told me outright that he loves to be there, which is always a good sign in a company! VIBE: So much thought and effort was put into their decor and interior. This place is obviously curated and it elevates the experience so much. The theme is very consistent, and has that delightful gothic flavor to it. The social energy within the cafe was also great. There was a good combination of people working and people socializing, and the table setup is conducive to that environment. Alchemy Coffee, you have a new biggest fan! <3

I always have a great experience at Alchemy. They’ve always taken care of me and made me feel welcome. I usually don’t do anything special I usually get a latte or an Americano. The coffee tasted excellent. I’ve also occasionally had the pastries, scones, and quiche. All were solid. The service is awesome. The baristas are friendly and provided great service. They got a couple booths in that are great for working/studying.

5-stars for the wonderful hospitality! I love how they went above and beyond when asked if they had vegan options. They have a couple of vegan options and one they recommended that was off the menu: a bagel sandwich with hummus, avocado, cucumbers, and veggies. It was good :) We also ordered a hummus toast, a vegan chocolate cookie, and 2 iced soy lattes. The place is so cozy and nestled in between a neighborhood. Overall, nice place with amicable staff.

I ordered a chocolate croissant and an espresso frappe with lavender. The barista said the lavender is homemade. It was delicious! The croissant was huge and just as delicious. Definitely going back.

My experience has been hit and miss with the coffee. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it's okay. Absolute love their breakfast sandwiches though. Also comes with a good selection of fruit and is pretty filling and reasonably priced. Also love the location and the atmosphere. The decor and everything is so beautiful and unique. My only wish is that it was closer to me! I also love their Nina Simone!

Small, casual, cool vibes. The baristas are friendly, the black coffee is pretty mid, but the lattes are creative and delightful. They have a few vegan and GF options for pasteries/treats so that's rad. Expect it to be pretty packed if you're going on a weekend morning. The parking lot is small and there's rarely available parking, just plan to park on the street. This place is mostly about the atmosphere and its 10000% worth it.

Great neighborhood coffee spot with vegan options! This is a veggie sandwich with avo and hummus, but they also have SO many vegan pastries. I also appreciate that they ask “for here or to go” to reduce on plastic for those who are eating in :)

Awesome place for coffee! If you are looking for a coffee and you are in the area, this is your stop. Great drinks, great pastries, and great atmosphere. They have nice areas and chairs to hide out and get some work done as well as places for a quick little meeting. They even sell art here. This place is much more then just coffee and donuts. Alchemy coffee has a vibe and a style all it’s own. Defiantly a unique coffee shop for the salt lake area.

One of the only spots open early in the area. Cozy and inviting (big leafy plants) - great place to ease into the day. Coffee was delicious! They have fabulous scones and other pastries as well as a breakfast sandwich menu. Enjoy!

This is a great little coffee shop! The breakfast sandwich was delicious, with lots of customization options -- toast, croissant, or bagel (a few different flavors); multiple cheeses to choose from; can add avo for extra. I got the spicy chai latte and tried the mocha latte and both were great. The batistas were friendly and quick, and the seating was cozy, with super cute occult-themed decor. Combine all that with great prices and I absolutely recommend giving this place a try!

This place has the most delicious coffees I've had in a long time. It was so good I came back two days later to get more. I also had their popular Pesto Roll. A savory cinnamon roll, but with pesto instead. It was quite delicious. The atmosphere is fun, and the workers were delight to talk to. I can see why it's on Salt Lake best places to get coffee!

Walking into Alchemy Coffee is like walking into the month of October. Their Halloween decor and fall drinks make it the perfect fall coffee experience. We tried the Great Pumpkin and the Poison Apple and they were delicious. We can’t wait to return to try the other drinks on their fall menu!

I love this place so much and I'm so grateful it's my local coffee shop that I could write a whole novella. Their pastries are great! Try the sweet potato muffin. I love their breakfast sandwiches especially when eaten outside. Weirdly enough my dog even likes the little treats they have out for dogs and she's really picky. They have bike parking and seasonal drinks and friendly staff and a subtle skeleton theme! It's really a hidden gem that everyone should visit. My only wish is that they stayed open late so I could go on dates here.

Nice little coffee shop, we stopped here on the way up to ID and got a couple of drink specials. The atmosphere was very personal and cozy, which I prefer to the modern style of cold and open and loud coffee shops. The staff was really friendly and we had a nice conversation about the travelling and the SLC area. We’d definitely come back.

I love alchemy coffee. My family goes on a road trip each year and when we visit Salt lake City we always visit alchemy coffee. I LOVE the basil pesto roll. And the fruit smoothie is pretty good too. The raspberry donut is amazing too, and they serve coffee also. I recommend.

Oh my oh my, I wasn’t expecting to love this place so much! I was around town and wanted a cappuccino, but with one look at the menu I knew I’d have to get something a bit more fun then that. The barista was lovely, funny, and super knowledgeable. I love love loved the books you can look at while you sip at your drink and the decor vibed. Super nice that they have a lot to park in, I will absolutely be back with friends.

Let's be honest here. Alchemy is a landmark of coffee in Liberty Wells & salt lake city. The guys give spectacular service, and their coffee is always good. Their atmosphere is unique and welcoming. They have small bites and sandwiches to enjoy as well.

This is one of the best coffee / cold brew / espresso frappe in the valley. Staff really friendly and love some of the macabre and occult vibes in the store. I have also tried the food here and there was really good avocado toast! Love to come here for the vibes, the friendliness of the staff, and the delectable coffee.

Excellent coffee and kind service. Love the atmosphere. If only the rest of SLC was this cool. Alas, we are in the wind.

This place is amazing! I got an espresso and a breakfast sandwich. The espresso had great flavor and wasn't watery like a lot of shops make. The sandwich was probably the best bagel sandwich I've ever had! The aoli sauce they put on it was SO good! I highly recommend this place.

I visited Alchemy while visiting SLC. I really enjoyed the vibe! I ordered a Flat White and it's a more traditional flat white, which is perfect. I love when coffee shops really understand how to make different types of coffee drinks! I also loved all the skull artwork they were featuring too. I should've figured out who the artist was because their work was really cool!
