Wasn't too impressed by the tacos or the chicken fries. Felt like the food was definitely over priced for the amount of food received. Also they are the only Mexican restaurant I know that charges for one extra sauce. Wouldn't recommend it based on our experience.

Very good and consistently so, we go about once every 4-6 weeks.

Have yet to go wrong with El Pollo Rico! It's been our go-to for a quick and delicious lunch going on 6 years. My wife loves the 3 Taco combo, I'm a big fan of the charro beans.

Food is always great, and staff is always friendly. Love their crispy tacos and papa nachos! Prices are a bit steep and the only thing keeping me from 5 stars.

This place is great! It’s definitely a place I would like to eat at again. The chicken is so good. Anything on the right side of the menu is made with chicken and the left side made with beef. We got the tamales, gorditas, and enchiladas and they were all great. The tamale was good flavor but mild enough for kids. They also have hamburgers and fries so we got a couple of those for the kids as well. Everyone loved their food. The only recommendation for new customers is to get horchata. It’s good and the soda machines didn’t seem to have the right mixtures.

Holy Snaps! This place is a hell of allot better than what I thought it was going to be!! That came out bad.. I'm just saying I was pleasantly surprised. the food is delicious and it's of really good quality It's not too expensive and you get allot. It's different, it's new to me and I'm going back. Oh yes, I'm definitely eating here more often. Delicious!!

My family has been going to El Pollo Rico for 10+ years. They consistently have quality food and service. The chicken is some of the best charbroiled chicken in Utah, and the homemade corn tortillas are delicious.

It's authentic food. Sadly my first visit my burger was a little dry. But there were still enough portions too. But the papa nachos always great!

One of my favorites, they make very good chicken and tortillas, and there are a lot of options! The workers don't act like Robots, and are very kind! It doesn't take very long for the food, and it is not usually busy. The only down side is the community nearby, there are a lot of drunks or homeless people nearby, and many people who litter around Pollo Rico. Other than that, I think it's a perfect place for some fresh tortillas and some great chicken!

The Chicken and rice is delicious love the flavors, didn’t care for the taquitos and it was a little pricey for the little food that they give but will definitely come again to try more things!!!

We love their chicken! Best charro beans ever! And the tacos are to die for. So…yummy!! Been coming for over 12 years, we will keep coming back.

The best place in Utah for authentic Mexican style chicken and rice (pollo con arroz) or just a quick simple but crazy delicious meal. That guy that said pollo loco is better is most likely not used to authentic food :) We get the quarter chicken and 3 tacos and share. I will pay anything for that green sauce too, best jalapeño salsa I’ve ever had! This place is incredible!

I pass by here weekly and finally decided to give it a try. I was really impressed. I don't mean to be rude and obviously others liked it, but I did not. The staff was professional and nice, spoke english and spanish very well, it was relatively clean and modern and didn't take tooo long. That said, the chicken was really dry and blah flavor, and the rice was bland and crumbly. It was also expensive for what you got. I was hoping for an authentic style restaurant, but it wasn't. El pollo loco is more authentic. I just wasn't a fan

The chicken plate is fire! So good I come here any chance I’m in the area.

This is a true hidden gem in Ogden. The food is always great and the tamales are a must have. Mainly chicken dishes but they also serve a great burger

My kids love to eat this chicken! 8 pieces are not enough for them, seriously it's that delicious! it's fresh, fast and very affordable.

I love this place. Been coming here for years and the food is always delicious. Flavorful chargrilled chicken served as a whole, 1/2 or 1/4 chicken along with house made corn or flour tortillas, and sides of rice and beans, pickled onions and salsas. They have lots of standard Mexican fare as well, tacos, enchiladas, tamales etc, but the chicken is so good that's what I always order. Do yourself a favor and check it out as it's one of the best food options in Ogden, hands down!

Wow. This place is incredible! If you haven't been, go check it out. Easily the best quesadilla I've ever had. My husband got the chicken with rice and beans and it was all delicious! The food is heavenly and the customer service and atmosphere make me wish I could eat every meal there. ❤️

Chicken tacos are so good and cheap and fresh, love el pollo rico, we go at least twice month but the are closed on Mondays just fyi

It's my first time going to this restautant, but the second time I've had their food. The chicken in their family meal was tasty. The place looked nice and clean. The cashier was friendly and the food was good. Just not use to restaurants only serving chicken items. Would recommend.

Since this is my 1st experience there I will limit my review, but what I did have was very good.

My go to is the half chicken combo plate. Its all so delicious! The chicken, the rice, the beans, the fresh corn tortillas and salsa. All of it, DELICIOUS.

Got the chicken tacos with rice and beans. They were very very good. Simple, and well developed flavors that all complemented eachother really well. I will definitely come back for more
