I was trained here in preparation for college sports. I saw a big difference in my athleticism and performance after working out here. That was 2011-2012 right after the new owner, Matt, took over. Now it’s 2020, and I’m back as an adult!! The advanced adult and fitness class is perfect. It reminds me of my varsity college sports workouts. Adam, Lewis and Matt are awesome, helpful, and smart!!

My kids and I have been coming to Axis now for a year. We used to go to a large corporate gym and I can’t say enough how much more I enjoy coming to Axis. The classes and camaraderie make such a huge difference. I feel like I am getting the best workouts I have ever had without getting bored or feeling like I don’t know what I am doing. I am stronger than I ever was and I see such a difference in my kid’s performance as well, plus I get to work out when they are which makes life so much easier.

I have been coming to Axis since 2014 and I love the classes, people and coaches. Workouts are always challenging and you never know what is coming up next - which is what I love the most! Adam's morning workouts never disappoint! It is always hard to keep up the motivation to workout but taking classes at Axis pushes me to give it all I got!

I started Axis about two months ago and really love the staff, the training, and the availability of classes. I started coming to Axis to help my 13 and 10 year old with speed and agility for sports and noticed they offered Adult Fitness at the same time. I figured if I had to be here an hour anyway why not make the best of it. I have worked with Matt, Adam, and Lewis and all of them are patient, funny, and helpful. The facility is clean and I feel safe. The best thing about the facility are the people and the regulars in my class. They made me feel so welcomed and often when I feel like giving up they encourage me to keep going. Last, I was able to talk to Matt about my goals to lose weight and he suggested a Nutritionist to help with my training. I really cannot say enough great things about Axis.

I love Axis Sport, it is a very unique and special gym! When I was 50 years of age, I was in constant pain due to back issues and had to give up tennis which broke my heart. After working with an individual personal functional trainer for 1 1/2 years, my frozen joints were finally moving again and I was ready to begin working out and building strength on my own. I found Axis because my daughter’s volleyball club sent their 12-18 year old athletes there and I was most impressed by the challenge and diversity of equipment and exercises. Although I have my favorite trainers at Axis, I have worked with all of them and each is very good. After 3 years at Axis, my back seldom aches (and it never lasts more than a day or so); the pain has moved out through my hips and knees as I learn how to move properly and strengthen my body. Each trainer at Axis checks for pain or injuries at the beginning of class, watches closely and provides individual adaptations to exercises as the class moves through the sets to ensure proper functional movement and avoid injury. Amazingly, over the last 3 years, with Kris Rutkowski’s gentle encouragement and recommendations, I have lost 30 pounds, look like an athlete and am more fit than ever in my life! Every single day, at least 1 person tells me how fabulous I look – more importantly, I feel younger and vibrant (BTW, I am back on the tennis court)! After seeing my enthusiasm and watching my physical improvement, my husband has joined me at Axis; we absolutely love the classes, people and encouraging atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Axis for young and old alike. The classes are varied and very challenging (working in groups encourages us to work harder than one-on-one training and it is easy to get an extensive, safe workout in 1 hour). Since day one, I have felt like I am important to each of the trainers at Axis and fitting 2 classes per week into my schedule is simple because of the variety of daytime and evening classes offered.

I've been a client at Axis Sport Performance for 7 years and love everything about their adult programs. The workouts, which consists of strength, conditioning and stretching have kept me strong, agile and injury free. They are planned by certified strength and conditioning coaches with a long term progressive aspect. I just have to show up and do what they say. Its awesome! My sons have also worked out at Axis for several years. They've learned how to lift weights safely and effectively and the value of working hard in the gym to increase their performance on the field. The coaches have also provided great role models for them both in the gym and in life. They care about the kids and invest a lot of themselves in their success.

Axis Sports performance is like family for me. Love the trainers, Love the facility, and love the community. The people here are simply inspiring and drives you to do better everyday. I started attending their CAD program for about a couple years now and love coming back every time.

Axis is holding outdoor workout sessions to keep me fit while the indoor gyms are shut down. It's fun, challenging, and a great way to start my day. Great staff and class members, we're sweating but smiling!
