Went on a Friday night with a few friends for the first time to see what the hype was about. Pleasantly, I really enjoyed my experience dining here at Meokja! Even though this place isn't AYCE, the quality of the meats make up for it. The Food: Everything we had was amazing. You can tell the difference in quality of the meats instantly compared to some other AYCE places. Notable mentions are the brisket, boneless rib and galbi! The had a decent choosing of banchan, but the winner was the corn cheese. That is a must. The Service: Service was great! The staff are very friendly and attentive to you, and the process of ordering more meats was very consistent. the staff are always paying attention and know when to come back to make sure your meats are cooked perfectly as well. The Atmosphere: The restaurant is very nicely setup. Dim lights with some soft lights make it feel a little like an underground/if you know, you know kind of spot. *Very limited parking and can get busy during peak hours, so get there early!* Overall, a 5/5! For an A La Carte KBBQ spot, this place is very good. Meat quality is very high and staff are friendly and attentive. Price may be high, but well worth the visit!

Right when you walk in through the front doors, you can sense how elite this restaurant is. The meat quality is amazing, and the taste is incredible. The servers are always very nice and friendly. The wait may be long, but is always well worth it.

Absolutely love this place! Been so many times it's not funny. Not the average Korean bbq, very good quality meats and options. Very relaxed atmosphere. All staff have been amazing. Prepare for a wait though, it's a very popular spot! The wait is beyond worth it!

Service was top notch. Food was authentic and fresh and hot. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. A highly recommended stop if you like Korean BBQ.

Our server was super fast and polite! She made sure to stop by frequently to flip the meat on the grill even when we were doing it ourselves. She also made sure we had plenty of sauces, water, etc. This is not an all you can eat restaurant, but there is a noticeable increase in food quality because of it; depending on which meat it was; it was either more tender, more flavorful, well-seasoned, etc. We enjoyed all of the banchan (side dishes) that came with. The atmosphere is your typical trendy KBBQ restaurant with loud music and somewhat dim lighting except at the tables. I would definitely say this is overall a step up from your typical all you can eat KBBQ restaurants like Iron Age, and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place.

I love the food here. We ordered a combo, along with a seafood pancake. All three of us were very full at the end. The waiter looked after us well, making sure that the meat was cooked to our liking. I would recommend making a reservation.

If you are looking for a satisfying and delicious Korean BBQ experience, look no further than Meokja Meokja. This place has everything you need: courteous and knowledgeable staff, quality and generous portions of meat, and a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I went there with my son and we ordered the Large platter that serves 3-4 people. We were amazed by the variety and quantity of meat that came with the platter. We had beef brisket, pork belly, spicy pork, chicken, and more. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. We grilled it ourselves on the table, which added to the fun and excitement. We also enjoyed the side dishes, such as kimchi, salad, rice, and soup. They were fresh and tasty, and complemented the meat well. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They explained the menu and the cooking process to us, and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. They were friendly and professional, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a great time at Meokja Meokja, and we barely finished the platter. We were so full and happy, unlike other restaurants where we often leave hungry. We will definitely come back to Meokja Meokja, and we recommend it to anyone who loves Korean BBQ or wants to try something new and exciting.

This place has a great atmosphere. Not your standard Korean bbq. This is a young fun staff who are attentive but you do the cooking here. They are wildly popular right now so reservations are strongly recommended. We called same-day and they were booked but the manager said they open at 5p and could likely sneak us in. It is a little out of the way for me but definitely plan to return.
