Amazing and serene place in the morning. It was completely quiet, with only the flag's sound as it waved in the wind.

I was thrilled by the views. I could see the history that took place on those grounds. I often wonder if the younger people recognizing all that has taken place there. It was a step toward feeling complete (one with all I've learned from HS and College).

What a great experience. How could you not love going to see all the monuments? The Lincoln monument was my favorite. Although we visited late March during the national cherry blossom festival the world war two memorial fountainon was not on unfortunately. The Washington Monument, Jefferson monument. MLK monument are all great parts of our nation's history. I could've spent hours here. Wish I could have also enjoyed the views at night but just didn't have time. Will definitely try to make backbto DC sometime in my life.

Upon arriving to DC, the first thing was walk around the National Mall. Absolutely beautiful monuments and locals and tourists all around. Make sure to wear good walking shoes because we walked 10 miles just roaming around from the monument to Abe’s memorial and Jefferson’s memorial and everything in between.

I had the pleasure of visiting during the 2025 Cherry Blossom Festival and despite the crowd everything was very beautiful. It was a very relaxed and family oriented experience. I definitely recommend everyone to visit the National Mall and if possible the Cherry Blossom Festival at least once.

Amazing!! First trip to DC. I was never real excited about seeing statues or monuments, but coming here and seeing these places is awesome. It kind of hits you about where we've come from, becoming a nation, and regardless of political affiliation, what what do we have for the future. Seeing the Capitol building,it was surreal. It's worth the trip! It truly is.

Tons of great monuments & museums. Definitely requires multiple days to see it all. Especially if you're trying to get the best perspective of the Washington Monument as a male reproductive organ. If they didn't want people to do it, then they wouldn't have built such a magnificent phallic symbol to honor our nation's first president!

Lots to see. About the size of 4 blocks. Nice pick nick areas. Surrounded by museums and the white house! Parking can be an issue so I recommend using the metro train. Expect lines for bathrooms(bring disinfecting wipes/spray maybe even toiletpaper jic).

Amazing and serene place in the morning. It was completely quiet, with only the flag's sound as it waved in the wind. Should not be allowed for any group to desecrate the memorials of the fallen heroes and founding fathers with political demonstrations.

The National Mall is the most fascinating single mass of a landmark with deep historical and archaeological underpinnings. With so many monuments and memorials around it and the museums and other landmarks it would require two to three days to cover them entirely. A quick run around could be done in a day. Do not miss the Tidal Basin to watch the Cherry Blossom blooms which occur typically around the end of March

This was a grand sight to see. Beautiful grounds and scenery. Wasn't crowded and everyone was respectful. I enjoyed sitting at the top of the Lincoln Memorial and taking in the serene view. Felt surreal to be at a place that has holds so much history and meaning. Loved the planes flying by as well.

I've visited the National Mall many times. This time, we just rode around. The museums had long lines, there was a lot of traffic, and there was a protest happening at the Lincoln Memorial. Overall, it was a great visit, but I think next time I take a hop on/hop off bus to tour. DC traffic is not easy to navigate through.

Absolutely a beautiful place. Wear comfortable shoes, there's a lot of walking if you're not familiar with the area. Lots of taxis nearby and Uber and Lyft services were quickly available.

The tidal basin is sinking! They’re currently doing major construction repairs to shore it back up in time for America’s 250th Birthday celebration next year. The mall itself is beautiful, but the cherry blossoms were short lived this year due to a torrential rain that took them out a few days into peak bloom.

Wide sidewalks, easy to get around. Good crosswalks. Larger than you might think. Many food trucks parked by the popular venues for ready access to food. Access to rental scooters and bikes.
