I visited yesterday evening , the store smelled horrible. There were dog fesses on the floor in numerous aisles that looked to have been stepped in, and in front of the store. I went to the register to pay for my items and the cashier tells me that he does not have any bags at his register and that I would have to go to the next empty register and put my items in a bag myself. He seemed to have no customer service experience at all. This was such a distasteful experience. I will not be returning.

The staff was super nice from the moment I walked in. Ryan was my stylist for my puppy Dallas and he did absolutely amazing and cut him exactly the way I requested! I will be using him moving forward. In addition, he was super timely! I couldn't believe how quick I got a call back saying that Dallas was ready. He looked so good!

This Petco location carries the pet food I need for my pet. I am grateful that I don't have to travel far to get what I need. The staff were polite and helpful.

I was referred to Sandy to groom my toy poodle at the Upper Marlboro location and she did an absolute fantastic job on him!! She is a true professional and her skills are outstanding!! She was immediately able to help me determine how I wanted my fur baby to be groomed, which was great and a relief for me!! My fur baby has received so many compliments and we are looking forward to his next visit!!

My trainer for Duke is amazing she is so patient and loving towards my dog. He loves her and I love her phrase “ ok you silly goose” love it. She is the best.

I love this Petco! They have some really great groomers working here. They are always very professional and kind. You can tell that they really care for the dogs. My dog is always excited and happy to get groomed when I bring him this location. Highly recommend.

Our grooming experience today was terrible. Jessica stated that my dog was too fidgety for a proper haircut, which has never been a problem with any other groomer we have gone to, but okay. Notwithstanding the haircut, my dog left the groomer with dirt on her face, which I thought would be cleaned off during her bath.

Every time I order on line from this store, I receive an email confirmation that they received my order and that my order will be delivered. However, when I get my order it IS NEVER complete. They claim that they didn't have the items in stock, but when I go there, I pick up all of the items that were in my order that they claimed was out of stock. Today, I had a norder of 10 items and Petco claimed they only saw 1 item and DoorDash picked up the order and Petco can't see my order in their system now. Highly disorganized and incompetent staff.
