Bonefish is really loosing its essence. I use to love coming here, but now, not so much. The Bang Bang shrimp is still good. The calamari was overcooked, but the dipping sauce definitely made up for it. I love their sauce. The service was mediocre. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, I had to ask for silverware, the table was dirty and the staff wasn’t friendly. I pray it gets better. Bang Bang Wednesdays use to be the best, but now that’s gone. 🫤

We were greeted by the manager when we walked in and she was NOT friendly. She seemed irritated that we asked to sit outside. It took awhile for the waiter to get to us but he was nice so I overlooked it. What I could not overlook was how tasteless and bland everything was! I got a chef special, Pan seared pompano with a crab sauce, what a waste of fish. It was heavily breaded and you could barely taste the fish. My friend got pasta, BLAND! No flavor whatsoever. We tried to revive what was left of our lunch by ordering the Bonefish trademark dish, bang bang shrimp, but you guessed it, No Bang! After one bite we agreed to send it back. We simply couldn't take another disappointment 😞 The only thing that was made right were the cocktails. I will not be going back to this location.

Came in for an early lunch before it got busy and we were attended to very promptly with friendly service. The house salad is out of this world! There is a gluten-free menu available with outstanding dishes. As good as all the drinks looked it was a bit early to imbibe. The atmosphere is slick and clean and the staff we interacted with was all very professional.

Shrimp was very good! Service was exceptional. All items were better than the average restaurant and with the service we will definitely be back. Poke bowl was very big.

I had a lite lunch. Nice atmosphere. The salad came with tomatoes olives some other ingredients I just wanted cucumbers, it was good. The calamari was good, I love the tentacles, bread nice and lite. The Crofton cakes are very tasty, taste like crab with lite seasoning. The brownie is gluten free flourless, it was good and fudgy like

Our experience at this Bonefish grill was good overall. The service was really great, the waiter was very attentive and we continually were given more bread and refills throughout our meal. Steak was cooked correctly and the Mac and Cheese was DELCIOUS. Only disappointment was the crabcake which was kind of just so so. But overall a great dining experience, even though its a little pricey.

My husband and I found ourselves eating here last night and it more than hit the spot! The service was fast and pleasant and the food was amazing. We were short on time and on a budget so we ordered 3 appetizers. We ordered the imperial dip, the calamari, and of course bang bang shrimp! Everything was a 10, 10, 10 across the board! So much flavor! My favorite was between the calamari and imperial dip. My only critique of the bang bang shrimp is that it could’ve been fried a little harder but it was still very delicious. Even the bread they brought us was warm and soft and the olive oil mixture had so much flavor I couldn’t believe I was fine just eating that ! Our waitress, Sheree, was very attentive and checked in on us regularly! She kept the refills coming and made our experience pleasant.

We made reservations online, and was seated promptly. Our server was friendly, got our food quickly. Food was just ok, not much seasoning. I ordered a cocktail but was charged for 2 drinks. Mgr corrected it quickly.

I had a pretty good experience here. When I first arrived, we were seated pretty quickly. After we were seated, 13 minutes passed and no one came. The restaurant was not packed at all. I counted 4 couples inside, 1 person at the bar, and 1 couple outside. I had to call the restaurant to let them know we were outside. After that everything went smoothly. The food was great, the ambiance was excellent. I sat outside and the weather was awesome. The server was happy and helpful. All in all the experience was positive other than the wait. I would come back here again.

TLDR: Solid restaurant at the Waugh Chapel shopping center. Great service. And pretty decent food. I’d probably come back if I was in the area and in the mood for seafood. Free bread and pesto (9/10): The bread was warm and the pesto was just amazing. Pesto had amazing flavors and the perfect amount of seasoning. Beef and ginger potstickers (4/10): Found these to be soggy. When I get potstickers, I want something with a crispy crust, but these were soggy, kind of like they were boiled. Not a bad thing, but not my style. I didn’t think there was a lot of flavor from the beef, and the beef also had an odd texture. The texture was more like “liquidy” and wasn’t all beef. Again, this isn’t something I’m used to so I personally didn’t like them too much, and my GF didn’t as well. The sauce on top was good, but overall salty. Corn chowder and crab soup (8/10): This was worth the money, in my opinion. Thick flavor, and a light corn taste. It was delicious. Blackened salmon pasta (6/10: Salmon was cooked to perfection. There was this perfect crust, but also on the inside it was moist and delicious. I found the cheese to overpower the whine wine sauce. I really didn’t like that. I found the cheese to be actually way too strong. I think they might’ve put too much cheese, especially on the artichokes. My spinach was all over the place, since some had no taste, and others were overpowered with garlic. I enjoyed the capers though, and found them to have a nice touch to the meal. Came in around 3pm with no wait, and not many tables filled. the service was great and the waiters were quick to fill my water. But, the bathroom was dirty and the stall doors were nearly impossible to close. I had to strong arm them to actually get them to lock. Disappointing

Had an excellent server here! One a few places in which the server did everything too-notch!! The renovations are a sharp improvement and the food and drinks are great as always! Overall—The best in the area!

Horrendous service. We dined here for a weekend lunch and there was roughly 20-30 min periods between service (coming to table, taking order, delivering food). Our server was virtually nonexistent despite the restaurant being 90% empty. We ordered a pitcher of sangria but he brought 2 glasses instead, saying that they didn’t have any more pitchers but still charged us for a pitcher (what?) We requested managerial support which got us nowhere. We’d been waiting for water refills for 30min+. The manager was totally apathetic; nothing improved when he got involved. He came over at the very end to ask if we were satisfied; we said no as we even had to go to the carry out desk to pay our bill since our server just stopped attending our table. Did he even care if he got paid? Seemed like everyone was satisfied to let us sit there indefinitely. The mgr simply shrugged and walked away. The bang bang shrimp and the shrimp and scallop skewers were delicious as always- but sadly we won’t be back due to how expensive the food was and the despicable service (or lack thereof). There are many other wonderful dining options at Waugh Chapel. Avoid Bonefish. Would give zero stars if that was an option.

Amazing evening!! It was our first time & the service was terrific. I think the young man's name was mat?? Pleasant took our orders & kept coming back to check on us. The food & drinks were great! I'll definitely be back🤓

9 Oct 2023 is the very time my and wife have experienced bad service. The waiter didn't intrude himself to us, and he did not inform us of any special of the day. He treated the white customers with respect and even held long conversations with them. I asked for lemon for our water and he placed them on the table by extending his arm around my back. Other waiters gave us bread and showed us some attention. This waited finally said something to us once we finished our dinner.

David made our entire experience outstanding. He was my favorite part of my visit today. I love his energy and attention to detail. The restaurant was clean and the food came quickly and the orders were all correct. Thanks for a great dining experience.

The food is always on par. They have the best filet mignon anywhere. I always get that with sides of their jasmine rice. I got a white sangria too and it was delicious. Sometimes the service is slow, especially when you first get sat, but the food quality has always been consistent no matter which Bone Fish I've been to in any state. Their Bang Bang shrimp are iconic and I've been really enjoying their Bang Bang Crab fries.

I come here all the time for happy hour 🍻 but SANDY did a wonderful job on my bang bang shrimp! Best I had ever had from here!! Nice and crispy and my bartender Rachel did good as well!

Waitress was not on cue to wait on us. There was quite a delay. We had to chase a person down. Otherwise, food was fine. Clean restaurant. Women's bathroom had broken faucet. Cheesecake was excellent. Rainbow trout was very good.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the area. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Love the Bang Bang Shirmp, Mahi-mahi & Shirmp and Poke Bowl. They also have the best sangria. The service is always fantastic! The server Elicia is awesome. She's always very friendly, efficient and polite. I definitely recommend Bonefish to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Waugh Chapel.

Being one of the first tables there it took an hour to get food. Tables sat after us got food before us and being a chef I called them out as the prosciutto on my pork was actually bacon. Then was brought a quarter full souffle cup of chopped prosciutto when I originally ordered extra barely covered half my chop. Would think sliced would be more presentable on this dish. Waitress was also bartender so we barley saw her but she was Sweet. Happy birthday to my wife she wanted brunch that wasn't served anymore

First time at this location and was amazed with service, we have large group , our server was very friendly and nice 👍. Food was delicious,, all our food , we did order appetizers and don't skip desert , pumpkin lava cake yummy. Highly recommended

Family and I celebrated my birthday there. Our server was pleasant and attentive.The service was on point for appetizers and cocktails that were tasty. Our entrees came out quickly. There was a steady stream of people coming in but wasn’t overly crowded on this rainy Sunday. The food was good. My son liked the fish and chips. My husband had salmon, my daughter in law had grilled cod and I had stuffed fish. The chicken strips my grandmother had were tasty. They all were good. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner the other night for the first time and had the best experience! David was our server and he was absolutely wonderful! He gave great recommendations like the bang bang shrimp and the margarita (both were amazing). He knew the menu front and back and was so kind and really funny too! He made us feel extremely welcome. We will totally be back to eat here again. All of the employees were very nice and the food was absolutely perfect!

Good food, pleasant ambiance and delicious cocktails. The main short coming was glacial table service by a person who wasn’t at the top of his game. If you come here order a drink and prepare to settle in for a while. The food was good all around but the bread needs a little work. If you like spicy food order the shrimp pasta.

Always a great experience and food comes out within 10 mins of ordering. 15 mins tops if that! Thank you for having a clean and professional establishments! ❤️

Went for my husband's birthday. Food was great and waitress was awesome. Best service I've had in Maryland in the last 12 years. She went out of our way to make sure we had everything we needed. Oh, and get the Cheese Cake...it is amazing!

Seafood all the way 10/10 Skewer and Bang Bang shrimp are amazing 12/10 Scallops were a win too! Not impressed with sirloin or vegetables tho (5/10)

Had coconut shrimp special and watermelon drink and they were fantastic! The creamed spinach was also very good. The service however is not the best.

Fresh fish 🐟 😋 and great quality food 👌 the bang bang shrimp is always a winner 🏆 they have the best Caesar salad around. My favorite drink is their old-fashioned.

This place has great food. The servers are nice but they do need a bit of help with making recommendations. Our server told us the catch of the day was a steak haha so maybe train them up to know the menu a bit more. However, they are consistent and do great at giving you a good time without paying an arm and a leg.

Truly excellent food. They never disappoint. We get the signature pasta with salmon and chicken. It's has a wonderful creole sauce. It's delicious!!! Also the fish and chips are amazing. The beef dumpling are really good too. Wonderful service. We always enjoy ourselves here!!!
