My friends and I went here for Wednesday night trivia and it was a nice overall experience. Food - delicious and good prices. My friends and I shared the big pretzel that was tasty. The only issue was the chicken tenders were a bit batter heavy according to my friend. Service- it was okay. The server was also the bartender so it wasn’t that attentive, but she eventually got around to our table. They didn’t bust our table until we left so that was also a challenge. Vibe - beer garden, sports and good lighting. Overall, I’ll go back. I would recommend you check this place yourself!

Only giving 3 stars because they had a great selection of draft beers and good space to watch games. I would completely avoid the food here. The fried chicken sandwich and Haus burger (big Mac) we're both soaking wet on the bottom. The burger actually was dripping. The breading on the fried chicken sandwich just fell off because it was so wet. The waffle fries were tiny pieces of waffle fries (see the picture) like they tore them into tiny bits. Stick to drinks at this place.

Come out to Courthaus for a great happy hour and stay for a meal! One of my friends is the new manager of this restaurant and while it seemed to always be packed on Friday nights, there are plans to expand the current space and focus the menu; so definitely keep an eye on this growing business. My husband and I came out for happy hour and dinner and we were not disappointed. The place was pretty busy as usual, but we were able to get a seat at the bar. The beer menu is diverse enough to meet most palate preferences. I prefer porters and stouts; so that is what we tried. They serve local craft brews in addition to national level brands. They also have a full bar to please any cocktail lovers. We ordered the social nachos to start and then a French dip and spicy chicken sandwich for our meal. All the food was delicious and portions were large enough that you are definitely not leaving there hungry. The staff are really personable and we had a great conversation while sampling Chacho, a jalapeno flavored aguardiente...also a product of a local distiller in DC. We'll definitely be back...can't wait to see what the future indoor and outdoor expansion brings. Thanks for great evening! :-)

I really enjoyed Courthaus Social. I went with a few friends. The tap list is good and the food was solid (love the tater tots). What made me give it 5 stars was the staff (friendly) and the atmosphere (chill and not too loud). A great place for beers.

Stopped in before an event in DC on a Football Sunday. Prompt and friendly service with tremendous menu offerings. Schnitzel and tots were delicious and came out unbelievably fast. Will definitely be back soon.

Great patio, especially when it snows! I'd like to see a few more beers rotate in and out. They have the volume to be able to get some hammers in there! Exactly like the Founders CBS on nitro I had.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in the area. My mom and I went in for lunch and drinks, and we were accommodated by the manager himself. The manager was very accommodating to my mother when her appetizers were not brought out, however, the meal we both ordered was filling enough. He went above and beyond for her so she could enjoy the establishment as a frequent customer. Thank you, Claude, for making us feel welcome!

I ordered wings and there was hair baked I to my food. it was stuck in there I could not even pull it out. and it was absolutely disgusting. do not eat here unless you want hair in your food. we called to complain and manager did not care.

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time. We wanted to go for happy hour and got there around 3:10pm on Thursday. We were the only customers seated inside so we assumed the service would be good/quick. We received our appetizer and drinks. Around 3:40 we assumed there was a shift change because our waitress just left the restaurant with her bags and keys without handing us off to another server or even letting us know. There was a new group of servers who walked in and were just talking and walking around. We wanted to order more food/drinks but weren’t attended to. We attempted to flag down servers and make eye contact with them but they were more focused on setting up for dinner than taking care of their current customers. When we finally got someone’s attention we just asked for the check since we felt like a burden to be there. We ended up going down the street and eating somewhere else since we never got to actually eat here. For what it’s worth, the appetizer and drinks we did get were good.

Dog friendly! And a good place to spend your brunch time. Includes dog menu, too. Recently, there was a "Paws on the Plaza" event on July 22, 2023, in the Courthaus Social wallet for the dogs and their owners. I like that they do it once or twice each year. There was a dog friendly yoga by Eat.Yoga.Drink in the morning, Barkcuterie boards, signature cocktails, specialty hot dog stand where you might buy some good food prepared right in front of you, District Dogs site, professional dog portraits by DeSilva Studios, which I remembered from 2022 event, and many many other sites with goods, hand-painted portraits, etc. Alison DeSilva is doing a great job, I like her work and attached it as the first photo of my dog NaVi. We were able to participate in the raffle for charity by Warrior Canine Connection and were trilled to win a Barney Bones gift basket! The winners are able to pick up the prize from Courthaus Social during normal business hours and take some photos. Summarizing the event, we had a great time! Thank you to everyone who made it happen and possible!!!

Beer and appetizer selection is good. Servers are generally pretty attentive when we have been here. Ordered the "half chicken" entree last visit. Beware that this is not actually a half chicken; it is a thigh, breast, and wing (no leg) from what seems to be a Cornish hen. Sent the dish back because of the missing chicken leg, for the manager to return it to my table and lie to me that there were actually two chicken breasts on the plate.

Awesome service everytime. Special shout out to all the bartenders and servers and host and hostess. And all the crew. Everytime I come in they are all so friendly and welcomed. Special shout out to Irena she is a super friendly nice bartender and she also make sures everything is okay with the customer.

Generally good service and a nice atmosphere with a good beer selection. The reason I give only 3 stars is that Courthaus Social cheats their customers during Happy Hour! During Happy Hour chicken tenders are supposed to be a good deal - about 1/2 price - but management cuts the portion of chicken by about 75%!! So Happy Hour chicken tenders (which taste very good BTW) actually cost more per portion during Happy Hour! It is like a $10 16 ounce beer being $8 during Happy Hour, but the bar only services you an 8 ounce beer. Could you imagine what would happen if Courthaus Social ever tried this sneaky trick?!

All the food was so delicious. Watched the game outside patio. Service & staff were great. Definitely will be back. Ordered BLT sandwich, Buffalo flatbread, schnitzel, cheese sausage, tots.

Everything was great. Great beer list with plenty of IPAs, they handled my severe food allergies with ease, and they treated my pup so well! Kemi and I will be back to enjoy this fun patio!

We had a group of 8 and sat outside. There was a good selection of drinks, which is good if you have a particular taste. I got a Chicken Schnitzel, it was huge, and the texture was really good. I liked the sauces that came with it. Our server was Ashley she was really friendly.

Outstanding service and food. I recommend the Shrimp starter, it’s sweet and fiery and very well seasoned. The blueberry cinnamon roll is also very good. Reserve ahead so you can sit outside. The chairs don’t have a backing so that’s something to look for. I would come back for happy hour. They also have a puppy menu which is different. 10/10

Love this place! I come weekly (sometimes more). The food is awesome, and the drink selection has something for everyone. The best part of coming is the service. Gabby and Moe are the best. They are timely, understanding and kind. I can’t recommend Gabby and Moe enough to friends and family when they come into town. Best bartenders in the business! And they make busy nights look easy (trivia is awesome here).

Food was excellent. I had the Fiesta Flatbread. Despite it being very busy the server was polite, attentive and got our orders right. There is a parking garage less than a block away, which on weekends is free.

This was the best salmon I’ve EVER eaten. And that really says something because I eat salmon on a regular basis. The broccolini and mashed potatoes were really great, too. I usually don’t eat an entire plate at restaurants (I get full easily) but I finished this entire plate on my own.

One of my “go-to” places in DMV area ❤️ I love everything about them: staff is friendly, food is delicious, beautiful outside patio🪴 prices are great - what you see on the picture - I got here at the Happy Hour time - $23 ONLY! 😀And if you’re lucky - you get to pet someone’s doggy, as they’re pet-friendly 🐕

Came here for Sunday brunch and made a reservation for right when they opened. We got the Virginia ham eggs Benedict and french toast waffle and both were absolutely delicious and nicely priced. Mimosas came in a couple different flavors and were only $5! The outside area was nice and shaded and dog friendly. Service was a little slow but nothing major.
