Just went here for the first time with my family. The burgers were absolutely delicious for a fast food chain! We were very surprised! The atmosphere was pretty clean and the staff was very courteous. Definitely would recommend stopping here if your looking for a decent fast burger.

These guys screw up our order every single time. This time I ordered a brioche bun and got some sort of spicy hot pepper bun. I guess I wouldn’t care that much but it wasn’t for me, it was for a family member that doesn’t like spicy food. It’s such a waste of money and time. Last time they caked a kids cheeseburger with mustard for some reason… when the food is right, it’s delicious. Unfortunately it’s not right half the time.

When looking for a great juicy burger look no further! Hands down great food! My personal favorite was the crispy Brussels Sprouts! Fries are excellent. The French onion double burger was delicious. My husband ordered a triple but isn’t a fan of mustard so if you aren’t either ask them to go easy on the mustard or hold it altogether. The fried pickles still had crunch and weren’t soggy in oil! Great family outing. Restaurant was clean and fast to the table service!

We came here because the one in Anchorage was so amazing about being clean and careful about the gluten free options. Was in Wasilla for the day and needed a GF meal for my daughter who’s allergic. The lady who took our order was new maybe and she kindly asked the girl packing orders if the fries and tator tots are gf. The girl shrugged her shoulders rolled her eyes and just said “I don’t know. Probably”. I said it’s for a food allergy. It’s life or death. Can you ask and make sure? The kitchen was right there in front of her! She didn’t seem to care much at all. I wanted to leave. Especially since the dining room looked unsanitary due to lack of employees. I was kind to the cashier and I was absolutely not trying to be difficult at all. Celiacs disease is a very serious thing and it’s so hard to find good places. The gf buns were cold on the burger which made the burger cold. Our salad was filled with goopy slimy lettuce. My mom asked for a new salad and the manager said that the salad is supposed to be that way … smh. He replaced it w a fresh one. Sat down at a dirty table and ate our food and left. Had no other gf options so we dealt w it. So disappointed and I’ll definitely not be risking it again. The manager and cashier seemed nice enough and the food would have been amazing without the ick factors involved. Not even close to comparable to the Anchorage location. Pics are attached

"SMASH BURGER"!! They definitely lived up to there name today as my double burger was "SMASHED" flat into what looked like wet cardboard with extra effort smashing evidence with the sauce fingers imprints on the bun. My smash fries were so greasy I had to use 20 napkins to soak up the grease so they could become edible. What a shame!!! This will be my LAST visit to "SMASH BURGER" in Wasilla, Alaska. Hope the local competition "SMASHES THEM OUT OF BUSINESSES"!!! Hopefully a Red Robin or Carl's Jr will soon occupy this location lol!!!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Extremely disappointed in management (or lack of) and what I've witnessed the last two times I've dined in this month. The staff closed early both times (with no signs posted), turned families with kids away (while minutes later giving free food to friends that came in). Staff at the counter was yelling at another team member across the restaurant who was putting chairs on tables 3 hours before the restaurant was scheduled to close. I've never been in a restaurant where employees look annoyed when people walk on the door. The burgers are great, but I'm so disappointed in how my family and others in our community are treated by the Smash staff. So sad that an amazing location (lake view seating is ALWAYS closed) and great food isn't available or accessible as advertised. We won't be back. : (

We got the bacon smash burger and the Carolina burnt ends burger along with an order of smash fries and it was all amazing. Great quality and taste. Would recommend to anyone not afraid to eat meat.

This restaurant was filthy. 8 employees and all including cook were just standing around while the floor was gross, the tables needed bussing and wiping down.

We do not have Smashburger in the interior but love coming here when we're in town. Food is always good. CS could use improvement but they do the minimal to get the job done and food out in a timely manner.

Fantastic all the way around. Burgers were delicious. Staff was very friendly and everything was extremely clean.

I don't have anything to say about this place. This was my first visit to a Smashburger. I ordered the Alaska Kenai burger with smash fries. The fries were tasty and not over seasoned, while the burger was hot and delicious. There was fresh jalapeno on it as well as a generous helping of cooked to perfection onion stack. The egg bun is a nice touch. Service was quick and friendly and the place was very clean. I will be back!

Staff was friendly, food was delicious and came out fairly quickly.

We arrived here for lunch and the staff was friendly and food took a maximum of 10 minutes to arrive. Burgers were delicious and filling. Just wish tomatos were a bit more ripe, but it's mid winter, so I can't be too picky.

Don’t waste your money or time! Arrived and no one greeted us for a few minutes. Could see them all on phones in the kitchen. 40 dollars for two combos. My burger came out with a scoop of cold shredded cheddar on top. And my order of onion rings were burnt nearly black. When I went and asked what’s up at the counter. His response was that’s how it comes here. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 12:30 pm. Makes sense now. Place was freezing with the ac on. (Raining outside) what a bummer…

07/03/2024: Dad and I came in just the start of a rush at 8:20pm. We normally have amazing service here. We have to say this time was such a shock. We do want to say Ellis did an AMAZING job, we watched him run back and forth making sure everything was running smoothly, however Jamie was just slowly cleaning the lobby closing the dining area. To our knowledge dining wasn’t closed until 9pm. We were amazed at how hard Ellis was working and how Jamie just didn’t seem to care to help until he had to point out he needed assistance. After us several more people came in to order just lining to the door. We understand short-staffed, but Jamie should have been making shakes and bagging orders while Ellis was taking care of the customers orders, rather than Ellis doing it all while Jamie started closing.

As a big burger fan from Canada, this place got it right the 1st time for myself and the wife. I had the brisket burger, my wife had truffle, and they were both 10/10 for us, albeit the portion is a little too much for my appetite, and thats a good thing. I've been looking for a great burger place in Wasilla/Anchorage area and we found it. Great job guys!!! That said, I have to ding it for the floors. It could do some cleaning because it was a little greasy and it wasn't swept so the floor was a little dirty. Overall, the food is the main point of this place, and it definitely delivered. Highly recommend. 👍 👌

I've always been incredibly impressed with the manager at the Wasilla store. He wants the best for his customers and his staff, is personable and professional and amazing in this day and age, he shows genuine care. His staff always seem upbeat and industrious. They communicate well with one another and assist each other. They do their best to acknowledge the customers needs. For a fast food joint, this store gets an A+ rating from me. Good job guys.

Delicious food, got a mushroom burger with extra cheese and a chicken sandwich they were both cooked perfectly. The tots are always good.. thank you!

The burger was actually as good as it looked! Just awesome! The onions rings were terrible though but the burger is so good I still recommend them.

Staff are always super friendly and food is always fresh and delicious! Love the organic fruit drink options! It's the only restaurant we buy drinks at. The building and bathrooms are always clean. Haven't found a better burger joint in Wasilla as of yet.

Awesome food! you can taste the 'hand-made' in every bite. This is my favorite burger joint cause they bring the food to you like a full service restaurant. The pretty ladies working there are a plus too.

Super chill atmosphere, the food was brought out hot and fresh. It was done fast and was tasty. The rosemary tots are so good you'll slap your grandmother.

I will say normally my food is fine. On this occasion I went a bit later on a Saturday night. The employees appear to be a bunch of teenagers. No adult anywhere. The employees were tp busy talking to pack my order. Two of my order items were missing completely once they did finally find the time to bag it up. An additional one of my order items was under cooked. It's enough that I won't be returning for quite some time.

We got there about 9 and the restaurant closes at 10. Shake machine was already shut down, most of restaurant already closed for seating. Food was ok. Love the Wasilla lake view. Just if open until 10, be open until 10.

An excellent burger as always. I had been there in several years so there were many new items on the menu relative to my prior experience. I liked the "new" options very well. Tasty food. An excellent burger

Recently went here twice in 7 days. We don't have this chain in our hometown. The service has been spot on with both visits. The food was consistent and really good. Love the quality. Until next time Smashburger.....

Nice clean location and friendly service. Great view out the back. Food was great! Burger tasted amazing and was full of flavor.

My wife and I just started going here regularly a couple months ago when we noticed Costco sold discounted gift cards for them online. We stocked up on gift cards and over the last month or so this place tanked. They frequently mess up orders and close their doors early. Then today at 2pm they locked their doors because they needed to prep bacon. Their food was decent at best, but I need dependability. We'll give it 2 weeks and then try again. Worst case scenario we'll return our gift cards and stop going altogether.

Burgers are always fresh, but the fries are hit or miss. If they would put the fries in the same time they start the burger they would both be great. 75% of the time I get cold fries.

I ordered lunch and got the bacon smash burger to go with a medium drink and tots. The moment i tried to open the wrap to my burger grease was leaking everywhere. I attempted to eat it and again super greasy. Zero flavor. All i could taste was grease. Absolutely disgusting. I ended super sick afterwards having to pull over several times in my work vehicle to puke. Never again. Definitely not worth the $17 i paid. Also attempted to do the review with the website provided on the receipt, and it does not work all all.

Food was great. They did get our order wrong twice. But they happily fixed it. A bit pricey but worth the experience.
