Walking
through
downtown
Boone,
the
wife
and
I
worked
up
an
appetite.
After
window
shopping
a
few
restaurants
we
decided
on
Wild
Craft
Eatery.
After
walking
in,
the
humble
appearance
of
the
restaurant
had
us
second
guessing
our
decision,
HOWEVER
the
food
reassured
us
that
our
choice
was
the
right
one.
The
wife
ordered
a
grill
cheese
sandwich
with
avocado
and
tomato.
She
also
ordered
tomato
gouda
soup.
I
ordered
a
hamburger
with
the
side.
Unsure
of
what
my
side
would
be,
I
became
a
copycat
and
also
ordered
tomato
gouda
soup.
The
wait
wasn't
too
long.
We
chatted
and
before
we
knew
it,
the
food
was
in
front
of
us.
A
few
bites
in
my
better
half
said
her
sandwich
was
delicious.
Two
spoonfuls
of
soup
later,
she
commented
the
soup
was
even
better.
In
fact,
she
said
this
was
the
best
tomato
soup
she
had
ever
tasted.
My
burger
was
no
less
spectacular.
It
was
one
of
the
best
burgers
I
have
ever
tasted
in
NC.
And
the
tomato
gouda
soup
was
the
best
I've
ever
tasted.
The
only
negative
was
I
thought
the
burger
should
have
come
with
a
side
of
fries.
But
regardless,
it
was
worth
the
cost.
We'll
definitely
return
on
our
future
trip
to
Boone.
