Everyone here is so kind and compassionate. I have a lot of fear of the dentist so I feel kind of silly and embarrassed being a 27 year old crying while I’m just getting a cleaning, but everyone was very reassuring and comforting here (especially Tammy, oh I loved her). A lot of dentist offices use the tough love approach and give you intimidating lectures on how you need to do better. Tammy was very gentle with me but got the message across about what I needed to change in my routine and honestly that’s much more encouraging to me than a guilt trip or a stern talking to like I’ve received at other offices. I feel like most places use scare tactics but Martin Dentistry in Elizabethton uses genuine care and concern and that makes a huge difference. I’m so, so glad I started coming here and I plan on staying with this office as long as I can. THANK YOU!!!

Martin Dentist is by far the BEST dentist I have ever been to. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist and the staff were so kind and patient with me. One of the women even gave me a fluffy blanket because it was cold in there! I had a tooth extracted and they asked me to call and let them know that I made it home safe. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I’m one of those people that hate going to the dentist’s office. It has always been extremely painful for me so I hated it. My experience at Martin Dentistry has changed my perspective. They were friendly, helpful and kind. LaDonna put me at ease, talking me through every step. Dr Lunsford was also very kind. Took the time to explain everything thoroughly and kept stopping to see if I had questions. Will definitely continue going here!

The front desk wasn't ready for me at check in due to a late meeting. Although I was in the office first, 4 other people were helped before me. My hygenist was friendly but slow. My cleaning didn't feel thorough enough. She said the dentist didn't need to check me, so I thought that was odd. I thought that was essential.

Worst dentist experience I’ve ever had. Recently moved to Johnson city and had to switch to get a few cavities filled. Had planned to get four different sets of cavities filled but was left for a solid 45 minutes during the middle of being numbed while the doctor went to go chat with another patient. Not to mention the fact that they were aggressive with my mouth especially at administering the numbing agent as my cheek was left with a small bump for almost ten hours after the filling after being told it would reduce quickly. If you can see pictured here one side of my chin does not a have a bump and the other is raised slightly which was pretty painful for the next few hours and to pay that much for such poor work and be left in a room by myself felt careless by this dentistry and I will not be returning. Horrible place!

Awesome experience 😊 Dr. Lunsford and all his amazing dental team were so fantastic from beginning through their front door to the exit of the appointment. Debbie, Dawn , Lisa, Katrina,Missy, and LaDonna were ever so friendly and made the dental visit very comfortable, and thorough. Thanks for a great experience 😊❤️

I love Dr Lunsford at Martin dentistry of Elizabethton. Although I am terrified of going to the dentist,he is very kind and makes me feel as comfortable as possible. Also he does excellent work! I would definitely recommend him to anyone. The staff is also very kind and helpful.

The staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m typically very nervous at the dentist, but i felt at ease here. I was very impressed at how quickly my follow-up visit was scheduled. I highly recommend Martin Dentistry.
