Went there tonight for an anniversary dinner. Food was fantastic and the service was great. I followed all the recommendations: wagyu beef tataki, sashimi platter (very fresh and I love their scallop best), cawanmushi (the best in Perth), wagyu uni roll, toothfish miso and Panna Cotta for dessert. We also tried the sake taster for $40. It was all worth the prices and experience. Left satisfied and happy.

Very nice and delicious Japanese fusion foods. We had a really great time, full of happiness because ? The food is so nice! We really love the sashimi and the grilled cod. The eggplant is also out of this world. We ordered dessert as well and was blown away by the simple yet creative soy sauce ice cream. Great staff, and nice ambience.

It was value for money! We loved the tempura salad and the soft shell crab roll. My picky eater daughter finished her Chicken Karaage and rice. She loved it so much! But I think the real asset of the restaurant are the people - service was 10 out of 10. Keep it up!

First time to James Parker and the entrance looks amazing. The dishes we had were nice and fresh. It is quite reasonable priced for a good setting and the freshness of the dishes. Will certainly go back for dinner again.

Can't fault this place for anything... Except the parking. Food is fantastic, the flavours are subtle and complex. Service is friendly and attentive. Prices reflect the quality of the food. Great place for a special occasion or a special date.

Had a fantastic experience. The environment was welcoming and enjoyable, creating a great dining atmosphere. The food was not only delicious but also prepared quickly, adding to the overall positive experience.

Had a lovely evening here. Food was generally amazing. The Chocolate pudding with Soy Icecream was very confusing. Didn't taste Japanese or fusiony at all (I'm convinced they gave us Vanilla icecream, but they swear they didn't). They did try to make it up to us and gave us another bowl of the icecream which clearly had the Soy ripple. Appreciated the effort. Highlights are the sashimi, octopus, wagyu tataki and especially the Patagonoian tooth fish. This place could be amazing and to get to 5 stars just needs to polish up the ambience, service and a couple of dishes. Highly recommend!

Japanese dishes done more on the traditional side, and done very well. The price is probably "fair" at best, but the food was fresh, delicious, came out timely and service was great.

10/10. Stopped by for lunch after wanting to visit for a while. Everything was excellent. Service was great and staff very friendly and attentive. Food was stunning. Every element was spot on and the care and expertise is evident. The rice was some of the best we’ve had at a Japanese restaurant. We ordered the JP Gozen set which was a great way to try lots of things. Every part down to the condiments was perfect. As well as a aburi salmon roll and extra sashimi. We cannot wait to try the omakase at dinner.

We had a great dinner there, fresh quality sashimi, great sushi🍣 , we really love the Wagyu Sukiyaki, the soup was amazingly good with very tender wagyu beef, so good. Staff were very friendly with great services, will certainly go back and try different things like duck. They have a good variety of food.

Some of the best Japanese food in Perth. Grab seat at the sushi bar if you can to watch the chefs prepare the super fresh sushi and sashimi.

This place is good, wonderful vibes and good service. The food was tasty, the udon was flavourful and the fish was presented nicely just small portion as it’s so good. The chicken was good as was the sashimi and the beef. Everything was great and would highly recommend for a night out where you’re willing to spend a little more!!

This Japanese restaurant in Perth is among the best. I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar and trying their a-la-carte sushi. Each sushi piece was served thoughtfully, revealing a tasteful progression that harmonized the flavors and ensured an excellent dining experience. I was particularly impressed by the chef's creativity in using seaweed with the restaurant’s name printed.

We went with our sons and have to say we absolutely loved our experience here. The food was superb and so very fresh, staff were warm, welcoming and very attentive. Ambience was lovely and cosy just how I like it. Overall we highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

This restaurant was suggested by our family for us to try. We think some dishes are great but some average. Our favourite dish is the Aburi - salmon, scallop and eel. The volcano roll we had, unfortunately the scallops were seared too much as we taste a lot of burnt taste. The food presentation was nice and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.

Beautiful experience! We went on a Sunday with friends and it was really busy. The atmosphere is great, food is excellent, super tasty fish. Oysters had this umami flavor that bring them to another level. Fresh sashimi as well as the prawn tempura or the mushrooms tempura. We didn’t like the crab sushi, too many greens and sour flavor on them. Service was a bit slow with food being served in a long period of time as it was a very busy night and not enough staff. But overall was a great experience!

We were luckily seated at a table near the chef's kitchen area and were very impressed by how he prepared and presented each dish. Everything was perfect! Hope to go back there soon.

This is a calm and cosy Japanese restaurant, with extremely sweet and friendly staff and really delicious food! I've not ever been to a restaurant where each course has come out so quickly but still to such a high standard. I have attached photos of some of the besutiful entrees served. Absolutely loved the experience and will be adding this restaurant to my favourites list!
