The first time I have been here I twisted my ankle and it took for them to call me 2 hours even though there was like 5 people in the room with me. All together I was in the hospital for 5 hours because they haven't done x-ray properly so be prepared. 👎

People who work there have to check what the word "Emergency" means.

Extremely poor triage. An inability to fastrack minor injuries . One of the worst EDs in the country.

Went to the eye department and there was no wait time. Had me sorted and out the door in no time

Never had any problems with the Dr nurses staff wards always top notch care

Completely disfunctional AE. Absolutely maddening lack of professionalism here. Arrived at 10.30 with an emergency and were told not to leave AE as doctor would be with us shortly. Waited 7 hours to see the doctor. No communication from indifferent triage nurse. Tried to get attention from other nurses and staff. Eventualy found a kind nurse who persuaded the doctor to come down from the wards to see us. We spent over an hour with the doctor. He spent most of this time taking calls. In the end he was very kind and capable doctor . But a bewildering lack of professionalism all round. My son arrived in AE traumatised and left 9 hours later even more traumatised by the experience. Where else can you go?

Had such a positive experience. The nurses, doctors and specialists I encountered are fantastic and doing their absolute best. They're all warm and empathetic, and really attentive and knowledgeable. The facilities are spotless. Thank you, I was so sick and it's the first hospital I didn't feel like a nuisance in

Kind and helpful staff, great care

Was literally told by a doctor their knowledge of my condition is very limited to wait until the morning to ring cork about my emergency. At around 3 or 4 I was then asked how I'm going to get home I said I'll probably have to walk she said OK and went off. I was brought to ardkeen by ambulance. I was in Cork hospital for 2 or so weeks after this. With an issue with my brain.

Very busy and takes way to long to see Doctor but the Doctors and Nurs also staff are friendly and helpful. Professional doctors

It sure is a hospital

Need more nurses and carers. They do a wonderful job. Needs bigger car park and way too expensive.

Really nice church I go there all every year for anniversary Mass the staff are so so nice and friendly and I know I cannot really thank them but there mean so much too me too class people they are nothing in the world would thank them they know brilliant people and lovely lovely masses
