This is easily my favourite Hawksmoor restaurant. From the moment you walk in the door, the staff are delightful; friendly, welcoming, helpful. We had a quick drink waiting for friends, we were a table of four, then headed through to the restaurant. The fixed price 2 or 3 course express menu option is incredible value for money. Three of us opted for the potted beef (it's too good not to have!), followed by fillet tail, while the other had scallops starter but as a main, with side salad. We followed up with sticky toffee sundae. All the food was amazing, as always. Service also excellent. I haven't had a better steak anywhere outside a Hawksmoor. Always cooked to perfection (medium rare) and with just the right amount of seasoning. Highly recommend.

Was attracted by the fantastic review... Decided to enjoy the dinner BUT, it's a great disappoint to be honest. Service: the service staff was very impatient to begin with. Food: was the most disappointed. Ordered a medium rare rib eye but was served Welldone with a little pink in the middle only. Yet the manager still told us that its medium rare. Oh come on! But but but, the bone Marrow is awesome to be honest. But no point ordering the the onion Marrow for an extra 5£. Side dish, fries, mashed potato and creamy Spinach is just very normal. Nothing fantastic about it... Hope I'm the only customer that received such 'fantastic' treatment...

Really lovely venue with amazing food. Never had a steak so tasty! Had the potted beef and bacon Yorkshire pudding starter with was huge and so good! Followed by the rump steak, triple cooked chips and peppercorn sauce. Would definitely recommend and return, a lovely meal.

Amazing meal, service, drinks and decor. Prices are reasonable for a steak house in London. The rump steak was outstanding! Cooked perfectly and the flavor was second to none. Try the Shakey Pete's Ginger Brew; you won't be sorry. We got the 3 course special for 25£. Oh, and the peanut butter dessert was crazy good. There are numerous Hawksmoors, but this one has a unique retro look. I very highly recommend eating or drinking here.

Came here for a birthday dinner and were throughly looked after by Marty and other staff members at Hawksmoor. Service was exceptional, food was delicious and so was dessert. £5 corkage on a Monday is an absolute steal. Would 100% recommend - slowly working our way round different Hawksmoor branches and none have disappointed so far.

We've been to Hawksmoor Air Street for lunch a few times. Food is excellent. Some of my favourite dishes include the potted beef & bacon, bone marrow & onion and the beef dripping fries - very delicious. Their sticky toffee pudding/sundae is also the best I've tasted. The staff and waiters are all pleasant and friendly, however table service can be quite slow during their busy lunch hours (around 12.30-2pm). We often found ourselves waiting long periods between courses for our dishes to be cleared, which would drag out our lunch to a 3-3.5hr experience. The atmosphere would also get very noisy during the busy periods. We like the location - very close to the Piccadilly Circus Underground Station and we like to go shopping on Regent or Oxford Street before/after lunch.

The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food is reasonably priced for a central London restaurant. The Sunday Roast dinner was huge and beautifully cooked. Will definitely go back. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Heard from a few friends that Sunday Roast at Hawksmoor was incredible and it delivered ✅ The roast beef was head and shoulders above the rest of the meal, the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud. were delicious also. Had the mother mule non-alcoholic cocktail, which was very refreshing. Finished the meal with the famous peanut butter shortbread which was burst full of earthy peanut butter but a sweet finish and ice cream. Very pleasant experience.

Hawksmoor Air Street Hawksmoor Air Street is located in the heart of Piccadilly Circus slipped away into Air Street. Myself and two other guests visited on a Sunday afternoon with empty bellies awaiting to be satisfied. We presented ourselves to the reception area on the lower ground floor, one of the hostesses checked us in for our reservation and held a good conversation with us. We were ushered upstairs via the art deco staircase. Our table wasn’t ready as of yet so we were seated at the bar where we had a fantastic round of drinks. Once the table was ready we was seated in a lovely booth seat. The seat was plumed and really comfortable for our liking. Myself and my other guests ordered an array of items from the menu. This included roasted scallops that were absolutely devine. Cooked to perfection. The fillet steak 300g was amazing, once again cooked to my liking (medium rare) it really did melt in my mouth and finally the apple crumble for dessert which wasn’t too sour and not too sweet finished with a glazed vanilla custard. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left satisfied. The communication from the restaurant was first class. The General Manager emailed us before our reservation to let us know about road closures and also after our meal to let us know where our tip went to. First class experience and the next visit has been booked in already. 10/10.

Everything was perfect. The girl at the front desk was very lovely, helpful, and caring! Thank you so much. It's been long since I had an amazing experience like this! These guys made me remember how things used to be! Awesome, I 100 % recommend this place and that creamy spinach. OMG, it was so good after one bite my soul left my body. A MUST VISIT

Tried the Chateaubriand, not as tender as expected. The ribeye tasted good. Should have ordered some bread to go with the bone marrow, else it is too overwhelming. The normal oysters are small, overheard that the Vietnamese oysters are good though.

Our waiter Peter was an amazing host in helping us decide what food to try and drink to have. The food was nice but slightly over priced and for some reason me and my partner ended up drowning in the noise of drunk business men shouting at each other for the whole time we was there so it kind of ruined the experience. Other then that I'd say give it a go we probably went on a off day.

Had the Sunday Roast but sadly to say the meal was mediocre at best. The roast beef was quite chewy and challenging to eat. My friend's potatoes were hard although mine was ok. The quality has apparently gone down compared to my friend's last visit. The atmosphere and drinks were nice though, but probably will not come back again for the food.

Pro Tip: Monday is Bring-Your-Own bottle, with a corkage fee of only £5. Stepping into Hawksmoor Air Street is an immersion into sheer elegance - it's my unequivocal favourite Hawksmoor. The reception staff consistently greet you with warm smiles, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. Ascending the marble elliptical staircase to the first floor unveils a captivating art deco interior, a huge chandelier, emerald-hued leather booths, and a meticulously restored parquet floor from an old RAF base. While Hawksmoor has always excelled in steaks, this particular branch stands out with its expanded repertoire, featuring an array of fish dishes that rival the excellence of their renowned steaks. The steaks are perfectly cooked and properly rested as there are no juices on the plate, when they arrive My personal recommendation is the Chateaubriand this always goes down well.

Best Birthday Meal ever 14/08/2023 I spoke to several staff about this restaurant and my family member nut and milk allergies but I was told they would ensure that there won’t be no cross contamination with the food and my family member would be fine. I spend several days speaking to the manager Angelo who promised me that my family would be fine. However, after reading a few reviews I was very concerned about the main dishes customers stated that the restaurant did not have the steak they wanted and they left. I rang again and asked for the manager Angelo who promised me the it would be ok on the night and he will be in the restaurant to serve me and family. Angelo the manager asked what steak we wanted and he stated that it is a steak restaurant and they have plenty. We had fantastic service from Angelo and he ensured that my family member had no allergic reaction to the food. The other staff were fantastic ten out of ten. I only wish I could have my birthday meal again and the kind hospitality from Angelo the manager. Steak and lobster were absolutely delicious. Well after reading some of the reviews I decided to dine here.

Always great at Hawksmoor, a birthday tradition of ours. This branch in particular has great atmosphere and lovely decor. Had the fish for the first time and was not disappointed, the sea bass was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked, great if you don't feel like having meat every time. The beef fillet was beautiful but it was served very salty, so we sent it back which they accommodated graciously and brought a new dish, perfectly seasoned. They also replaced all the sides (even though we had already eaten them!). The only small issue was the pears in the cheesecake dessert were under-ripe, to the point of tasteless, it's a beautiful dish, probably better not to put the fruit on if it's not ripe. Highly recommend: the scallop starter, fillet/rump steaks and the creamed spinach!

A birthday treat at the great steakhouse. The upstairs dining room is always larger than I remember. It brings a nice feel to the atmosphere. Attentive staff and great steak. Always good and those triple fried chips are just perfect. Forgot to take main course pictures!

What a lovely place. Staff is extremely friendly, will guide you on understanding the menu. Food is delicious, every bite is just a delight. Staff even went the extra mile and offered us a free ice cream toffee with 'Happy Birthday' written on a side for my birthday. So nice!!! Only downsides are the presentations of the dishes (very blend in my personal opinion) and how expensive it can be... Don't get me wrong, I'd come back though...!!

With no doubt one of the best steaks I have ever had, a delicious steak full of flavour. The staff are very professional, super friendly and help you with anyway they can with respect, specially Robert with an outstanding service made our night very special, thank you so much Robert! This restaurant isn't cheap but definitely worth every penny. We had a porterhouse steak which comes in different weights that you can choose based on availability. Worth mentioning the triple cooked chips was amazing! I would revisit Hawksmoor for sure and highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

The Hawksmoor on Air Street is our feature of the day. The @hawksmoorrestaurants is decadent, whilst also engendering a relaxed and almost casual atmosphere, which was nice. Our waitress spoke knowledgeably about the various steaks and made suggestions which suited us perfectly. In fact, she was adorable. She was smiley, attentive and had a good sense of humour. We had a lovely time. This restaurant is good for a celebration or a treat. They also have an option (correct as at the time of writing, but you may need to double check when you visit) which will enable you to have 2 courses for £22.00 or 3 courses for £25.00 Monday to Sunday until 18:30 from their Express Menu. Sadly, we visited too late to take advantage of this option... But, I will definitely visit again! We had :- Sirloin Steak (400g) Chateaubriand (500g) Peppercorn sauce Triple cooked chips Creamed spinach Buttered new potatoes Sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream ice-cream Jasmine tea Tonic water with Lemon I've also included a few pictures that I took of Central London on the way home! London is so beautiful at this time of year! Should you go here? An unresounding YES! The food was delicious and the flavours were tantalising my taste buds long after the feeling of hunger had subsided.. It was yummy! #honestreviews #onlytellthetruth #nopaidpromotions #Tastysteak #meltinyourmouthsteak #goodrestaurants #shouldigohere #Deliciousfood #foodies #Stickytoffeepudding #Lifeisforliving

LOVED IT!! The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing (steak was cooked perfectly) and the mash and gravy was sooooo creamy! Can't wait to go back. Currently my favourite steak restaurant in London 😁

Dinner for two on a Wednesday night. Early seating but was good as tables spaced out, the later seating was full. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was fantastic! Steaks perfectly cooked and the recommendation of the Potted Beef and Bacon was perfect!! Highly recommended. The scallops were sooooo good!! Definitely go, you won't be disappointed but the price reflects the dining experience.

Great atmosphere and excellent wine list. Service was very friendly and prompt in food served. We ordered the baked scallops, Hawksmoor Salad and beef cappacio. Mains were rib eye and a porterhouse. Worth for return visit.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and they have maintained their quality. They have a great Sunday roast with a lot of fixings. They include with the roast Yorkshire pudding, twice baked potatoes, shallot, garlic, lettuce, and carrots. They also have a creamy cauliflower cheese. They are usually very quick service.

Brilliant evening. The cocktails were perfectly made. The starters were scrumptious. The dinner and sides were divine. Service was respectable and attentive and friendly. The setting - well, I didn't know such a beautiful art deco restaurant was even here. Just stunning.
