Yo, it was my first time coming to this place, and I love the space and the seats for me; they are comfortable, and I've been to a few theatres before. The staff is friendly even though I did not buy anything from there, and the restaurant area seemed to be run very well, particularly the QR codes put all around the place to save on unnecessary paper wastage. Oh, and I have to say this now gender-neutral toilets, after all, are all going to the same place, so does it matter what area it's coming from? I would say no. To me, this is the future of Theater spaces down with waste, up with haste, as in enjoyment.

Good atmosphere, comfortable seats. strange rule of no entry and exits during the performance, but nice enough to ignore that. Good bar and ice cream in interval is always a good thing

What an amazing theatre! I saw ‘The Collaboration’ here and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and the venue itself was just incredible. Reasonably priced snacks although next to nothing available. Absolutely loved the DJ playing music before the show and during the interval, she killed it!

A small theatre that generally goes for the more esoteric productions. Good seats with no restricted views. This is combined with a bar/restaurant. It can get very busy, seating can be limited. Good disable access. Cashless, can be annoying. It's easily accessible on public transport.

Actually a surprisingly good layout to watch theatre in. No matter where you sit you have a good intimate view of the stage

I have seen The Collaboration and more recently Oklahoma! at Young Vic Theatre. Easy to locate, clean and modern venue. Staff are always polite and helpful. On my recent visit, we had problems scanning our tickets but the door staff were so patient. Okhlahoma! was unexpectedly funny, a fantastic orchestra and an engaging cast! Highly recommend this musical x

Best sitting arrangement in ant London theater I visited. Such a fun place that always does great shows, and the food in the adjustment bar is very good as well.

Went to see Ben Okri’s Changing Destiny. It was a brilliant space. Much like Roundhouse, the stage was at the centre and seats surrounded it. The stewards were lovely and welcoming; the loos were close in proximity so not too much hassle to get to in the intermission.

It's not your typical theatre stage, very industrial set up. The stage is nice but the seats/benches very uncomfortable. The play was good. The staff were friendly. We made the mistake to sit there for some finger food and drinks after the play. The bar and the atmosphere was looking nice so we thought why not? Literally 4 minutes before turning the lights off, the waiter comes and asks if we would be ordering more drinks because they would close soon but didn't say how soon and we didn't know. Most places usually do this 15-20 mins before closing. We order, he brings them and lights turn on. Security person comes and says they are closing so we had to drink our wines as if they were shots! We wouldn't have ordered them if we were told we had 5 minutes left! On the top of that, we were given a bill that included an almost £6 service fee as if we had a 3 course dinner in an awarded restaurant. We had 4 drinks and 2 small tapas plates in the bar with barely any service. Not eating or drinking there again, there are plenty of restaurants and cocktail bars near, I would only revisit to watch a play.

I was at The Young Vic to see "The Homecoming," a heady combination of early Harold Pinter and unearthly amounts of dry ice. I read this play recently without realising that it was funny. In performance, however, and acted by a mesmirisingly good cast with barely suppressed aggression throughout, it often was. It felt like a weird combination of one of the better scripted episodes of Eastenders and any family gathering drawn from the darkest recesses of one's memory. What was this play about? It was about 2 hours and 20 minutes. More than that, I haven't a clue. I loved it! I was less enthusiastic about The Young Vic itself. It feels like a posh bar/eaterie with a theatre space tucked away at the back as an afterthought. The theatre space as configured was both comfortable and intimate

Saw 'The Homecoming'. Excellent production. First time visit

Very noisy and crowded when we went to see a production, due to it being near Christmas apparently. Not a usual theatre experience. The seats in the theatre were not comfortable (upstairs), but the views were great, and it looked like views would be very good in any seat in the theatre.

A fantastic modern feel theatre, with seating around the stage (so you get a decent view from wherever you sit), a couple of bars and great atmosphere! The drinks were very reasonably priced, which was also appreciated!

Hallo, Just a word of congratulations for your reception operative Maire I've spelt it wrongly but please make sure she gets our positive words of praise! We came in about 15.30 yesterday to arrange matinee tickets for Nachtland. Maire organised us with a great deal and was very thorugh and professional with superb social skills. Well done Maire 10/10 Nachtland

A really excellent theatre space - comfortable and spacious seating (in benches unusually) and what looks to be great views of the stage from all seats. So no restricted views by pillars, overhangs and safety rails (I'm looking at you Harold Pinter) The bar is lively beyond just the theatre goers and does food too which is great if you need a quick bite for a midweek, post work 19:30 kick off.

Young Vic Theatre is always a pleasurable experience. Saw The Homecoming and loved it. As a medium-sized theatre, the Young Vic provides an intimate experience. Located a few minutes walk from Southwark Tube and Waterloo station, its ticket prices are still affordable, unlike large West End theatres charging exorbitant prices for a rehash of substandard musical theatre.

Intimate theatre space that showcases mainly new pieces of work. Seen some great shows at reasonable prices and the lottery tickets are a great idea to make theatre tickets accessible with dynamic pricing. Nice bar area serving food and drink, toilets are unisex.

Love how small and intimate this theatre is. Right next to the actors at times. Thought provoking shows. Have forgiven them after judgy, old dragon wouldn't let us in to see Miller play when we were 2 minutes late after travelling up for 2 hours.

Incredible place with a great choice of plays. Four stars as the seats within the theatre are so very tiny, they are not comfortable for someone of my size 5.5ft let alone someone taller. But overall, well accessible from the train station, well run, clean toilets and definitely fantastic play (Beneatha's place)

A great looking theatre both outside the theatre hall and inside. The seating is all around the stage, so it's unique. The bar and other facilities are great too

Disappointed. Is the Young Vic a theatre with bar and restaurant attached? Or bar and restaurant that happens to have a theatre in it? On Friday night, I went to see The Homecoming with a friend from the US I hadn’t seen in years. During the intermission, we queued awhile to get drinks and then chatted away. Sometime later, my friend wondered when the intermission ended so we walked back and found the show started five minutes previously and they would not let us back in. Sure, I could’ve set a timer or been more vigilant however, in most theatres I’ve been to, the bell or other arrangements that signal the end of the intermission are pretty unmissable. At this place, however, the problem is that the bar and restaurant are full of people anyway, so if you don’t pre-order drinks take awhile then it’s also quite easy to mistake other people in the bar and restaurant for theatregoers and to not notice people heading back into the theatre when the play is about to begin again. A loud, unmistakable bell, and maybe even a flashing light how difficult would that be? Based based on reviews here a couple of people seem to have had the same problem on previous occasions. As the theatre doesn’t seem to have responded to any other feedback here I doubt they’ll do much about this which is disappointing.

We went to see a brilliant performance so slick, brilliant characterisation, and a great energy with various potential meanings and questions to ponder. Good venue, great staff. Great touch tour and live and recorded audio description.

If you live in the UK and you've not visited this place? Then you're missing out on a life changing experience. It is truly iconic and world-renowned for good reason. Don't skip this venue. Even if you're walking past and are checking the map on your phone. Just walk inside and see. Ask the desk for a cancellation and buy the ticket. No matter what it is, just do it. Pull the trigger.

A modern venue, therefore a clear view from every seat. Visited to see 'Who Killed My Father'. I had great expectations, but did not enjoy. Was close to walking out and some did!

My favourite theatre in London! I've been plenty of times, I see most shows put on here without even reading about them because I trust them that much, I know if they are hosting it, it will be good! If you can get yourself a ticket, don't over think it and just go!

Hasn't been here in ages. What an atmosphere! Wonderful bar and staff. Was great to pop in and check out the much maligned Mandela. Must admit it's a strange subject for musical theatre, but it's handled deftly and the whole audience loved it. No stand-out memorable musical bangers though - a musical needs memorable tunes.

First time here and am now wondering why I haven't done this before. Lovely intimate space and the performance of Oklamhoma was a real treat. Thoroughly entertaining and that's from someone who doesn't like musicals much. Strongly recommend.

Theatre is run extremely poorly. We went for Saturday matinee show. They were running late because of more some technical issues. No information or update was provided. We were left waiting not knowing when it will start. Eventually it was more than an hour later. It was one of the hottest day so just one complimentary drink per person was woefully inadequate especially where drinks are so overpriced. Top it all some staff were rude and were giving wrong information. Considering ticket prices it should be more organized. Not going to visit this venue again.

This one of those small, 'arty', fringe type theatres where you can see some great, new and innovative performances. The staff were all very polite and attentive and the premises were pleasant and relaxed. I was comfortable in my seat and the temperature was also comfortable.

Went to see Oklahoma! at the Young Vic. Wonderful bustling, modern theatre. Well-stocked bar, lucky dip ticket system (which got us the best seats in the house that matinee), very efficient and friendly staff, and a beautiful experience all round.
