The place is great, big open spaces and cozy family feeling at the same time. It's perfect if you are planning on going with a big group for a brunch, for instance. This is it for the advantages. Food is average. A 20E brunch (excluding beverages), consists on a soup, 5 types of cheese, bread and and some marmalade / chocolate spread. Nothing remarkable about it. Only 3 brunch "formules", and they're all almost identical. The service and the way they organize it, happens to be a big chaos. You get assigned a waiter, who doesn't seem to be able to cope with all the tables she/he needs to serve. Commands are forgotten (or just wrong) and waiting time is generally speaking long, even though there's really nothing to prepare. I must say our waitress was at least kind, but that doesn't make up for the poor overall experience and food. I would not advice this place for a lunch. I am definitely not coming back.

Two stars for a nice staff. However, I do not recommend a brunch menu. Veggie portion costs 18€ without the drinks. It would be ok, just that only the soup was edible. The other things I really didn't like, food with no taste. If you go there I would recommend taking a burger, those plates looked nice. I agree that the place is noisy and disorganised.

Sadly the family friendly brunch is not as it seems. The kids'activity costs an extra €3/child and the food is expensive and portions are small. It is chaotic and noisy and the staff is friendly but overwhelmed.

La Tricoterie is a handy place to go with kids because the access is easy with a pram and there is an area where the kids can play. A small fee is required to access it which is a bit of a rip off given that the toys are falling apart and the babysitters are not very passionate about kids. It is still nice though that the kids can go somewhere. We ordered the kids menu for our son which was supposed to come with a hard boiled egg but it was undercooked. They brought a new egg but it was still undercooked which is pretty astonishing given the amount of eggs they serve in the place. For ourselves we ordered the eggs and bacon. The plate was nicely laid out and tasty. The waiting staff was friendly, in a good mood, and did there utmost to speak English.

Food: vegetarian/vegan/normal food. price: we went for a brunch (too expensive for what it is, normal eggs and bread). So maybe not go for brunch. Place: very beautiful but a lot of noise (children, lot of tables). Events: events are more worth it!

Spacious place with great brunches. Kids are more than welcome, the staff is well organized and super friendly. They can host large groups.

Very cool space, but not really suitable for a big party, because of ventilation, sound system etc.

Last Wednesday I went to a concert with my partner at La Tricoterie and I asked for 2 beers called "Silly". The waiter served 2 "Zinnebier" instead. We told her it was not what we ordered and another waiter asked us what happened (the oldest man among them). His answer was "it is this or nothing" meaning that I had to take the 2 beers I didn't order or he won't serve me any other beer. Very impolite, so we didn't have any beer in the end.

We waited long because the order did not passed immediately to the kitchen but once they realised it, it went well. A recommended place for a Sunday brunch! Very friendly staff.
