Last time we went to buy cheese and charcuterie, most of the products in the fridge and the shelves had expired months ago. Makes me wonder how they get used in the kitchen

Very pleased with this hidden gem of a place - and when I say hidden, I mean it literally. Tourists like myself would be puzzled by the awning with the restaurant name but see the storefront of a clothing and housewares store through the windows. This place is an all-in-one shop that, in addition to the above-mentioned, includes a deli counter and small grocery...PLUS a restaurant, which is located at the back. You will have to walk through the store to get to the dining area. Consider dining on the patio and gazing out at the garden in the back. It was relatively quiet when we arrived but service was quick and friendly. The menu has many unique dishes but my brother and I both opted for pasta. We could hear the happy chef in the kitchen singing while preparing our meals. Both dishes were very tasty; so much so that we opted to return the next night and sample more of the menu. If you're craving Italian and you're in Waterloo, this is where you want to be.

On vacation from Ontario, Canada. An amazing find that we happened upon during a walk through town. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming and the meal delicious! Very much enjoyed sitting on the patio by the impressive garden! Highly recommend a visit !

A place that offers the better italian cooking. Dishes that are out of the ordinary, original and always superbly cooked. Bery friendly staff also

An amazing place to have super delicious Italian food at Waterloo. While the dishes are a bit on the expensive side, they are totally worth it. The staff is warm and welcoming. Definitely a place to revisit!

Nice Italian food, in nice terrace.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly owner, but the waiters are very unprofessional and the food is nothing special. The Ripasso was very good, but heavily overpriced. The side salad are salad leaves and olive oil....not returning

Nice Place to have Lunch. Very good italian dishes. We I was there I had the menu of the day. It was a little salad as starter and a pasta dish as main course. Both were delicious. Also the Espresso Macchiato was as good as you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. If you’re finished eating you might want to take a look at the fine assortment of Italian goods they have for sale. Looking forward to come back for lunch.

Great Restaurant with tasty food

Very nice Italian food. If you can get a table in the garden section facing away from the street also very peaceful. If you want you can also do some shopping on the way out.

Really nice atmosphere, good food. Service could be improved (especially given the price tag), but still a very good experience overall. I was pleasantly surprised by the many desert options.

Had a quick lunch. I didn’t have a reservation, but they sat me anyway. Lovely and courteous people.

Nice place, it was crowded, the staff was ok but not professional, we asked information about their wine but the waiter didn’t know anything. Not special and very overpriced. Maybe it’s because of the location. Waterloo.
