Wonderful place! I have lived barely a mile or two away from here for almost a quarter of a century and never knew it was here! As well as over 60 acres of grounds to shoot in, there is a licensed bar, lounge area, high quality dining and spaces corporate entertaining. In fact, there is even a “cinema” room where you can fire at a huge screen, similar to some state of the art golfing experiences. I am reliably informed that this is the only 'shooting' one of its type in the country. Whether in that room, or within the extensive grounds, there are shooting courses for children too, so you can fill the holidays with something that boys in particular will probably find sent from heaven! Certainly the groups that I saw here seem to have had quite the time! During my visit, I also managed to pick the brains of some of the staff here, particularly with respect to gun dogs and you certainly get the feeling that there is as much expertise here as there is pride, enthusiasm and a suitably responsible attitude towards the environment. The great outdoors indeed. Here since the 1930’s and with a Royal warrant to boot, this is very obviously a world class spot and I am very proud to have it on my doorstep. I thank them for their hospitality and I certainly plan to return for a much more orderly conquest 😀

Had a great time here. Only 30+ mins from Central London. I spend One full day started from a coffee at the terrace then a ‘two hour individual lesson’ and very nice lunch (3 courses at 52 GBP). Afternoon session begins with another individual lesson and finish the day at the bar. David and Nikki at the front office did a very nice job from first day I called to book the service until last minute before I leave. Nick and Grace at the restaurant always service with smile and they are very friendly. Leo the bartender makes very nice cocktails to end the day (today I had one gin martini and one daiquiri). And lastly, my instructor - Ed, I had a wonderful time on ground with him. Very good service mind, friendly and he gave me lots of advice on the ‘English style’ sporting clays. One of the best thing today and in my life is I have a chance to try H&H shotgun (the gun cost more than 150,000 GBP) which is so smooth and firm. Strongly recommend if you are a shooter or you interest and would like to try this sport. You have to book in advance (call David, he can assist you everything here). I will definitely coming back again.

I still want to give 5 stars because the whole experience has been nice but I’m still not sure about the 30-minute shooting lesson and only 3 stations to shoot when I pay for two people 1-hour lesson. The instructor was great but I’m pretty sure we didn’t use all the cartridges we had available. The food was delicious and all the details were perfect, just a bit disappointed about the duration of the shooting lesson.

Everything here is amazing - the instructors, clubhouse and food are the best around. I wish they had a claymate setup so you could just turnup and shoot yourself. For that reason, my friends and I mainly go to other clay grounds near to London, which is a shame as would prefer to go here given the all round facilities.

What a fabulous day. The venue and the warm welcome from the Holland & Holland Team was fantastic. We were a group of 30. Corporate Team-building day with a mixed group of mostly beginners. Not rushed, nothing a bother, great food, with safe experienced guided introduction to shooting clays. Particular thanks to Chris. Highly recommended.

I shot yesterday with four friends we had a great time and enjoyed the day, we had a late lunch on site we all called home to cancel our dinner at night that's were it all went wrong the service was very good and the food very tasty BUT the amount of food was like a children's portion definitely not enough for a grown man. Would shoot there again but won't be eating. Regards Ian Tring
