Lovely place for a riverside walk and picnic 🧺Ample of car park spaces but it’s a paid car park. Refer to the pictures for the parking rate and map 🗺 of the place. There are few cafes around here with decent hot or cold food, ice creams, desserts and drinks. There is a good size play area for children called as “Adventure Time”. Kids can take paper and pencil to do the brass rubbings as they go along the trail. We ended up going up to the bridge near Uxbridge bowls club and found a lot of graffiti underneath it. Not sure if it’s permitted or not.

First the practical stuff. The main car park is by the visitor centre, but additional parking is available in overflow car park. Parking charges shown in photo, but £3.70 for 3 hours currently. Plenty of payment methods by phone, cash or card. The visitor centre is open at 10.30am providing toilets, and serving hot and cold food & beverages to take out. There is also a seperate kiosk near the car park if you just want cold drinks, snacks or ice cream. Some picnic benches and tables available and an adventure play area very popular with families bringing their children. Plenty of options for walking from here. You can head along the South Bucks Way, through the picturesque village of Denham, do a pleasant circuit of the Buckinghamshire Golf Course, or head off along the Grand Union Canal and past several lakes joining the London Loop path. If you're just going to walk the South Bucks Way, you could park in Denham village for free, but many park here for the facilities already outlined.

It was surprisingly wonderful … Parking had plenty of spaces. There is a lovely large playground for children. Cafe and toilets for customers too. I enjoyed the walk along Colne river and looked at the canal boats on the way. The water near the park seemed cleaner than towards Uxbridge. Overall a nice day out for families, couples, and dog walkers alike. Plus it is not too far from west London.

Lovely place to stroll up and down the canal and seem some barges. There is a pay and display car park witha cafe next to it for refreshments and cakes. Can't recall if they do food too. Noticed there are not any bins anywhere so take a plastic bag for your litter and cafe closes at 5pm I think and the toilet closes with them.

I went there only one time, it was really amazing and nice park, i think it was the first time i've been in a park in UK, it's a wonderful view, water coming through and families are coming to here for spending their days, Childrens playing in this water, and some of the children tried to fishing 🎣, This Park have a coffee shop inside, and you can bring any food you like with yourself and make a small picnic with your friends, like we did😍 it was really wonderful view, we brought a Kurdish food with ourself, we just reheated on this Ash, we had Kurdish tea with Baklava as well, That was a good idea about me.

A really beautiful place although I only got to explore a very small area due to time constraints. Beautiful rivers, the Grand Union Canal and some lakes, spoilt only by the ugliness and noise that is HS2 construction. They are doing a really good job of destroying nature and surrounding habitats.

We walked around the lake called little Britain as it looks like the shape of Britain from above. Saw lots of coots and a cormorant. Then walked round the canal and enjoyed seeing all the barges. Lovely circuit part of the London loop walk. We found free shady parking at the side of the road.

We went for a birthday here on a very hot day!. There were LOTS of families having picnics around the river. The food menu is decent with pizzas, hot dogs and other savouries including ice creams and coffee. The children had fun splashing in the river and fishing. The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because as we were about to leave, our 6 year olds needed to use the loo really badly. Although doors were still open, the lady said we couldn't cos it was almost closing time l. I just feel that places like these where food and drinks are served and children play, the staff could be a little more considerate and let children use the loos when they're pressed. It was 10 mins to closing time. Such strictness is not necessary especiallywhen there was still 10mins to closing time with the toilet doors still open.

Lovely place to go for walking. There is a parking fee. We went there because the parking fees was £2.5.But it had increased to £3.8. Some parts of the park have been closed for maintenance. We went in the evening, so no comments about the shop inside the park as it closes by 3.30pm.

Overall, it's a fantastic place for a walk, offering beautiful scenery. However, there are quite a few old boats in the canal, and a significant portion of the area is occupied by a private golf course.

Best choice for kids or dog friendly trails. There are two car parks, which have ample space but might be busy on a sunny weekend. The trail was lovely. Added pics of trail map, parking space info.

What a great place! We didn’t have a booking to see Santa but the staff were really accommodating and managed to fit us in! And Santa was really good with my son! Thank you so much and I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Nice place to walk the dog. Coffee shop left a little to be desired. They could definitely had the need to change their cooking oil. It smelt rather bad.

Lovely walk. The car park closes at 7pm in the summer. If opened for longer it would have been nice to have an evening stroll and see the sunsetting.

A good place is a library of wisdom, where the pages of experience and knowledge are open for exploration. It's a destination that encourages a lifelong journey of learning, reminding us that every day brings an opportunity to discover something new.

You have got to love F&M . I could feel my wallet contract as we walked through the grand doors , only to find it was all very reasonable. I ended up buying some fragrance and having a wonderful afternoon tea on floor 4 (you have to experience this) ...take a love one for that special occasion. Headed down to the wine section and had a glass of wine in the bar ....Great selection of wines on sale that don't break the bank. Me and the wallet had survived only mildly bruised. When in London make sure you drop in.

Lovely Location and Staff. I must say in dire need of a refurbishment throughout, decking and tables in shocking condition , pigeon poo constantly on the railings and that's just a few things. such a shame, could be a very pleasant place to stop for lunch, the local Council should give more priority for their locall Community Leisure Facilities . Hopefully it's already a priority for a refurbishment.

Lovely place to visit, but for some reason the RingGo parking app was only valid until 4pm - a fact that we only discovered after paying first - meaning that for the full price of parking we only got 45 minutes, and had to pay again at the meter. Maybe a sign right by the entrance would have been a better idea?
