We've been visiting Zara Mangal restaurant in Watford for years, and their food and service has always been excellent.

Must try Turkish kebab house! Decent prices, quality food with low key Turkish cafe decor. Loses a star for waiting times and interior but apart from that food was clean non greasy and prices were very fair. £30 for 2 starters, 2 large meals, an extra side and 2 canned drinks. EDIT: food was halal also.

Amazing service. Food was generous in portions and amazingly authentic in taste. Would definitely recommend it for a group gatherings or cozy dine-in experience.

If you're looking for food that's simultaneously greasy and dry look no further! At least the portions are generous. Service is ok but at the end when we had more than half the food in our plates uneaten, the server asked if we wanted to get it in a to go bag. When we responded no thank you we expected the question if we enjoyed the food but that question never came. Overall for £20 per person including a drink, this was a disappointing experience

The food was great, lots of flavor, the mixed grill with all the toppings. To end the night, you got to have the tea and baklava.

Best Turkish food in Watford at competitive prices. The staff are welcoming, the food is fresh and tasty, and the portion sizes are generous. We ordered lamb doner, chicken doner, and chicken shish- the amount of meat, salad, and chips/rice was very satisfying unlike most places these days with reduced portion sizes. The dips in mixed starter are delicious and complement the soft fluffy bread served alongside.

Nice Turkish restaurant serving delicious food. We ordered the family meal for three which was preceeded by a humus starter with flatbread, a plate of salad and a plate of fries. The platter had a combination of sheekh and doner kebabs with meat and boneless chicken tikkas, chicken wings and rice. More than enough for three. The placed filled up quickly after we arrived.

Nice mixed sauces, bread and tasty meat, good portions in competitive price. Best sea bass I had and enjoy the last meal before lockdown, nice staff, we will order takeaway from Uber eat during lockdown. 👍

Had an amazing experience today with my family. Staff welcomed us and the waitresses were friendly and smiling. I highly recommend this place. Food is delicious. Especially the chicken kebab. The portions were big and we really enjoyed our time here today. Thank you Zara Mangal

I have been here a few times but generally just get it delivered. The quality of food is lovely however deliveries of course are not as good as eating fresh in the restaurant. I visited yesterday with some family and I was again not disappointed, the food was amazing! It was fresh and flavoursome and the customer service is honestly next to none! They are so accommodating and friendly, honestly the best service I’ve received in a hospitality environment for years!

I have been with a group of 4 friends and we all loved it. their mixed grill is fantastic and tea with balakalwa was out of the world. Loved their hospitality. Must try

Good spot for kebab and doner in Watford. It’s a very busy place compared to any restaurant in Watford,. Tasty and quality meats and fries with dips. Need to wait a lil if you are planning to eat -in, it’s a worth if u wait.

We ordered takeaway. Very nice food, good quality. Tasty meat, both chicken and lamb. Wraps are grilled which adds to the flavour.

One of the best Turkish cafe! We had a family dinner. The food was lovely with fresh, crunchy and juicy salad with lots of saffron on it. We loved their salad so much. Friendly and always smiley staff. Def recommend and will come again. We hope their keep the standards.

I’ve known this family for 20 years and it’s the best food in Watford best taste and value I ordered on Uber eats and Called the restaurant and said it was my birthday and got good food and a nice birthday message and extra food so thanks boys
