Beer Asylum

Bar β€’ Beer store

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A very nice bar/shop where you can take out or sit in and sample your purchases of ales, ciders & drinks from around the world. I started with a home grown trappist ale and then moved to the other side of the Atlantic for a American trappist both of which were very nice but I'd say the Tynt meadow... A very nice bar/shop where you can take out or sit in and sample your purchases of ales, ciders & drinks from around the world. I started with a home grown trappist ale and then moved to the other side of the Atlantic for a American trappist both of which were very nice but I'd say the Tynt meadow ale pipped the Spencer ale. This place has a great atmosphere with very pleasant staff to assist with your choice of drinks. Certainly worth a visit or three as there is such a large stock of drinks you would need to do several trips to work out what your new favourite tipple is.

Great choice of beers, Siren tap takeover when I was there. Took a few bottles away.

I recently moved to the area and was very worried about the lack of options for craft beer. Yes, I am one of those drinkers. I'm also a member of CAMRA, so I can play both sides. In any case, this place was a fantastic discovery for me. Lots of different beers to try with a regularly changing selection in the fridges and on tap. I've popped in here to catch up on a bit of work with a beer during s quiet afternoon and also entertained visitors in the evenings. The staff are very friendly too.

Good to have somewhere within walking distance (well 40 minutes for me) where I can buy some good beer. Person serving was helpful and knowledgeable - alas I only bought two beers and disliked one quite strongly. I'll be back at some point to buy more...and maybe I'll persuade myself to give it 5 stars. They have a little area inside to sit down and enjoy a beer on tap too.

If you like good beer or gin, then you can't go wrong with Beer Asylum! A short walk from Pinner Station, it is a veritable oasis filled with thirst quenching booze! A fantastic selection of beers on tap (including a couple by Weird Beard when I visited - both excellent), and many fridges filled with beers of all types from all around the world - including an entire fridge dedicated to German beers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, willing to recommend beers (or gin, they had an interesting sounding selection including some from a local-ish distillery). Buy beers to drink there, or to take away, or as I did - both! Looking forward to trying the smoked barley wine that I bought, and coming back for more soon!

So spoilt for choice of craft beer you'll have to return. In conjunction with the excellent Social Dough pizza.

A great balance of interesting, top-quality craft beers on keg (usually 5 or 6 on at a time) plus a superb array of cans and bottles from the UK and beyond. Look out for the brewery tasting evenings, usually held on a Wednesday once or twice a month.

A great choice of beers, with taps and cans in a fridge. The staff know there craft and will point you to what you might like. Look out for the beer and food pairing nights.

Amazing selection of beers and ales. Only two things preventing 5 stars….some low background music and better snacks. Charcuterie and cheese would be great.

Went here for pre dinner drinks before moving onto a nearby restaurant. Having been going to craft beer pubs in central London, I found it did not have a great selection of beers... As there were only a few fridges to store them... Not fussed about going back (although I'm grateful there is a place in the suburbs that serves - even a small selection of craft beer), but might do if I'm in the vicinity..

Excellent bottle shop cum bar in an area without many beer options. An extra tap or two wouldn't go amiss.
