Not quite up to the hype of the general review. The food was decent, some of it really good even, but the overall experience didn't make it to 5 stars. A little bit more on the presentation of food, a little bit more energy and attention from the staff and a bit more pride in the cooking. I wouldn't mind coming back and it beats the regular Waffle house experience, but it lacks stuff to become great.

A nice breakfast/brunch spot. I had the Billy goat omelette...spinach, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese with cheese grits and turkey sausage. It was very tasty. Plenty of seating and not a long wait even on Sunday morning on mother's day.

The menu had a lot to choose from. The goat cheese omelet and strawberry waffle were delicious. The cafe itself is clean. The service was great and there was a lot of indoor seating.

Good place for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Food service is generally slow because how busy they are which is ok if you are not in a rush. The staff is always friendly and check in often. We love this and other J. Christopher's locations and the unique spaces. The selection changes seasonally aside from a few permanent menu items. It's also in a great locations in Five Points though parking can be challenging.

Normally, this place is awesome. Great food, quick seating, better service. Unfortunately today, service was subpar to say the least. Our server, Chandler, was the worst server I've had. Very straight, no happiness to his voice, forgot drinks, & to top it off gave me my check 5 min before our food came out as if telling us to leave. Still left him 10%, but had he been to the standard that I'm used to from there, would've been much more. As I am a server myself I couldn't bring myself to not tip him something but it was the 1st time I've ever thought of not tipping. Yesterday, my fiancee and I went to waffle house...our check was a little over $22, I left Wanda, our server $20. I reward a great service when I see it. Chandler, was definitely not acceptable. Will try 1 more time, but I'm considering going to mama's boy from now on instead because of this.

Unfortunately I was not allowed to dine inside the resturant because of my service dog in training. My dog was appropriately identitied in his vest and was still told I wouldn’t be allowed inside. Under Georgia service dog codes, service dogs in training are permitted to all the same rights as a fully trained service dogs. I have a friend who previously brought another service dog in training to dine here and was given no issues and were allowed to dine inside. I would highly suggest the employees here read up on the Georgia state laws regarding guide dogs and service animals to avoid a potential lawsuit in the future.

A nice place for a hot crisp coffee with flavor if u like and a wide range of pot-fillin breakfast and lunch choices !! I ordered a filling Quesedilla with Chicken and a hot coffee with half n half hazelnut french vanilla falvors !! Nd yes this place is all for your customized dishes, the way you like it !!

First time in and on a rainy Sunday morning. Lovely restaurant with really nice and quick staff. My wife and I shared the Turkey Sausage platter, which was delicious! They also have vegetarian & vegan friendly options and can make substitutes for those with food allergies. I personally love that there's a variety of flavored creamer options (lil Coffee Mate creamers) at the table as many places we visit tend to only offer milk or cream with your coffee. Very cute place. We'll definitely be returning!

It was so good! The food is delicious and the service was amazing! Google won't let me upload a picture but it looked amazing!

The atmosphere was really cool. Our server, Harry did a great job. Food came out fast, hot and delicious. The blueberry crunch cakes were so good!

J. Christopher's was a great find, sorry we missed it for so long. Food is delicious! service was good, our server was super friendly, you have to try the eggs Christopher! we loved it so much we went back a week later, and I've never seen a kid eat a plate of pancakes so fast! We loved it and will definitely be back soon!

This place was ok. Service was really good, the food, not so much. The potatoes were mushy and the entire meal just came out room-temperature and not hot and fresh. Biscuits and eggs were ok. Overall, not impressed. I would at some point come back here and try other menu options, but my first experience with the food here wasn’t good.

They give me dirty(filthy dirty, not just kinda dirty) silverware, and it took forever to get the waitress attention. Had to get new silverware myself. Ridiculous!

Usually outstanding; however our last experience was not up to standards. 45 minute wait for breakfast, terrible presentation and poor atmosphere. Many "I am sorry", which carries little meaning if stated more than once. Hope it truly is a one time experience and not something we experience again.

So I’m giving a 5 star because of my experiences over the years … but not today. This is one of my favorite breakfast places and I’ve been coming here for years. Today was the first time it wasn’t so great. So I’m sending my love their way and want them to know I won’t give up on them and others should have faith in them too until they get things straightened out. Today was the first time I left a 15% tip . We are over tippers so this was hard for us. I know the kitchen had difficulty today and our server was not very warm/ personable and very short. I had to get up a few times to ask other servers for things and the server brought the check without asking if we wanted anything else. Felt like they didn’t want to be there or want to speak to us. I don’t expect someone to be super bubbly but this was way off from the usual service. This restaurant continues to be my favorite place because one bad day doesn’t undo many many good ones. I will keep showing my love and support ❤️

Such a great place for breakfast and lunch. A bit understaffed unfortunately, however the service was still fantastic (thank you Emily) and the food was worth the wait (it was BUSY with breakfast diners). Good low carb options, flexible on the food options overall. Loved the experience and I will come again when I'm in town. Thank you!!!

The most amazing restaurant breakfast I've ever had. Devin was a great server. The eggs were fluffy and perfect, delicious sausage, English muffin perfectly toasted, and the potatoes were the right amount of crisp. The music was at a perfect volume. Everything was just perfect.

I don't know where to begin... I came here with my Family at noon today for breakfast. When we walked in there was maybe 5 tables occupied and all the other tables were dirty with dishes. Fully staffed by college kids just standing around doing nothing. It was actually comical to watch no one bussing tables. So then it gets really interesting. When we got there, there were two parties waiting to be seated. When college kids would walk in, they get seated immediately. So a large group came in and by this time we are all frustrated and my Husband asked the hostess why this large group of kids got seated before any of us, her response was that they have to keep the Lobby open. So if you are a Adult, don't waste you're time coming here. You will be ignored. So by this time the other parties are complaining about this too. It's ridiculous how this restaurant is ran. Even after we were seated. We still seen it happening with college kids being seated before adults. Food is good but not worth coming back.

Terrible. The wait to get seated was too long and even after eternity when we did get seated and ordered, the food came after literally an hour. And I don’t think it’s worth waiting for such mediocre food!!

As much as we love the hood I cannot handle blatantly horrible front of house service. This goes doubly when that service is from the manager. We arrived for Sunday brunch which we do almost weekly at around 10:15. We are a party of two so easy to accommodate. The hostess (found out later the manager) was absolutely rude. “20 min wait” she says! We politely ask if the counter is available and are curtly told “20 minutes for service!” Again we ask “so the counter is not first come?” Again instead of a polite yes or no she snipes “20 minutes for service.” We watched her handle each and every customer this way as we waited 40 minutes to be sat and watched parties that came in after us be seated. Rude! Just absolutely rude.

Place was bigger than we expected, very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The lattes were tasty, and my husband thought his egg turkey tomato bacon sandwich was unique and tasty. My maple toast was a little soft for my taste, I would have preferred it to be more crisp like toast. The grits we're also tasty, though the jalapenos were so fresh they were crunch, and not much spice to them. Some people probably prefer this, but I would have rather had them cooked along with some of the juice, within the mixture to give the grits more spicy flavoring.

Had breakfast with my adult children on a Saturday morning. The waitress was college aged an very professional. She took care of evening and made friendly non-intrusive checks to see if your needed anything. It was clean, and the food was perfect. I ordered scrambled soft eggs and they met my wish.
