I'm thrilled to rate World Market at 4.5 stars! Their diverse collection of day beds, rugs, mirrors, lamps, chairs, and sofas make it a treasure trove for home decor enthusiasts. The standout feature is their impressive range of specialty foods; I found the crepe baking mix I was specifically looking for. A one-stop shop for both unique furnishings and delectable treats!

This store makes you feel like you’re traveling around the world. I enjoy exploring what new recipes I can make with their “worldly” selections. My daughter loves the ramen section. The jewelry is unique and I love the loungewear section. The patio furniture is really nice. I can walk through the aisles for hours and hours. Check it out!

Great place for home decor and furniture pieces! We love using their curbside delivery. You can place an in stock order online and it will be ready within 1-2 hours. Super convenient!

Good variety from several different international regions. Always grab some German chocolate there at Christmas, but have fun looking around at other stuff too. Giving 4 stars only because Shelbyville Road makes it stressful to get to at times.

I ABSOLUTELY love it here. Always friendly employees. Great selection of items and food to look through, and there's an online selection in case you can't find what you're looking for in-store.

I've had multiple poor experiences with the customer service at this store. The person who has "helped" me has been incredibly rude and disrespectful in both instances when I needed help. One encounter was that I ordered ann item online and they shipped me the wrong item, I went to the store to exchange the item and the person who helped me made it incredibly difficult to exchange the item from my order. They kept trying to convince me that the exchange wasn't possible and that i'd need to take it up with corporate. They did end up exchanging in-store. This week, I ordered wine glasses and the entire order was not received at pickup. I was told that they're not allowed to let me know in-store at pickup that there are less items in my order than what was ordered initially. I asked why I was being charged the same amount if I'm not going to receive the same number of items from the initial order. They told me that because I had already picked up the items, that they're unable to see what the total was before the pickup. That if I had an issue, to take it up with corporate. Again, the same person and they are just very rude. I will not be going back.

I don’t know what is going on with this store but they seem to be on a glide path to closure at the current rate. Four visits over the past two months and we always come away without many key items as shelves are empty and inventory control completely lacking. Last visit showed 20+ display unit and many shelves 100% empty. The checkout person admitted they had been shipped all the wrong goods and they had run dry of food staples. Will give it another chance or two and hope it gets much better as the concept is great and past performance was solid. Store/Regional Manger please get to work on this as you are bleeding sales from this location.

If you like to be surrounded by people who are a little judgy, and you’re a little judgy yourself. Well, you’ve come to the right place. I felt right at home amongst my “worldly” “cultured” shoppers. When I saw a young man come in wearing an old oversized hoodie with cheap run down shoes sporting a haircut from the psych ward. My fellow shoppers and I knew he must of thought this was a Walmart. So I approached him and said to him kindly. Are you lost? This is the world market. Were you looking for Walmart?

I don't think the prices are in line with the products. You can undoubtedly find many of these products for a lower price. I think they are a bit excessive.
