This place is very cool. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. Cocktails were made with fresh squeezed juices. However the food was just okay. The steak was the best thing we had. It was cooked perfectly. I would use this spot for cocktails.

This place is awesome. The food was incredible. Our table had tacos, guacamole, queso, and a Cesar salad. Presentation on all was amazing and tasted even better. It will definitely be one of my go to places in Louisville. I would definitely get the guacamole. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You can even do a reservation online.

This is a place to go for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant is stunning and absolutely worth exploring. However, the food is where it falls short. It’s quite pricey, and after an average round of drinks and appetizer, we decided to pay the bill and head to a different spot for some authentic (and affordable) Mexican cuisine. Definitely more of a high-end tourist location, but fun to check out.

I loved this spot. It’s a church turned into a restaurant. The decor is beautiful and I enjoyed the playlist. Try the margarita flight and sample several flavors of margaritas. I had the shrimp tacos which were tasty with the mango salsa.

A regular spot for our family! We’ve never had a bad dish, and the one time we were not served an ordered dish, it was taken care of. Their brisket and pork belly (any dish) are our favorites. The plantains are a great addition for the whole table! Great tequila! Plus the venue itself is stunning!

A very pleasant surprise. Usually the places that have atmosphere lack in other areas. Not here! Best pulled pork nachos & Berkshire Ribs. Beautifully garnished. Got all my taste buds singing. Love this place & can't wait to go back. Every detail down to the water glasses teased my senses. You must go to understand.

This was our first visit, despite living a block away. I had reserved an 8pm reservation, we arrived at about 7:45pm. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated so we checked in with the hostess in accordance with our reservation and went to the bar for a drink. At about 8:20 the hostess asks us if we were with the party of twelve in which we told her no, we had checked in with her for our reservation at 8. About 5 minutes later we get seated. Drinks were great. And the queso was fantastic. Our waitress was wonderful. However we placed our orders and waited about 50 minutes and still had not received our food. The person who seemed to be the manager on duty came to apologize and tell us their kitchen staff was entirely new. Totally understandable. We waited and then decided to get our food to go since we had been there for so long and had other plans. The manager did make things right by giving us an exceptional discount for the overall inconveniences we had encountered. Which I am grateful for. Our waitress was very apologetic, which is why she either way had received about a 50% tip. In my opinion however despite the circumstances the cooks seemed to have no idea what they were doing based on what I could see. And the location despite being absolutely gorgeous, is too over sat. There needs to be less tables and less people to be served in those instances from a management standpoint. (Which I have 11 years of experience in). I understand wanting to seat as many people as possible however quality of service and food should be a priority over how many people you can get in the door. The food was mediocre, especially in comparison to the menu price. But again the kitchen staff was new, so maybe another time and day would be better.

This place is pricey, but the experience and food quality make it totally worth it for a special night out! My partner and I chose this spot as our Valentine’s Day date night dinner and we were so happy that we did. We made reservations for 7:30 pm, but we showed up about 15 minutes early due to our plans beforehand ending sooner and the restaurant sat us immediately! The atmosphere in here is beautiful and so fun. The lighting is very stunning and the charm from the church architecture just adds to the overall experience. It is a small spot so making a reservation seems to be the best way to get a guaranteed table here. We will be doing a reservation in the future as well since it worked out flawlessly. Service was warm and friendly from the start to the finish. We did a margarita flight and it was delicious. The queso was very good, but not spicy if that’s your thing. The birria tacos were flavorful, but also not spicy (I didn’t mind that personally so I was happy)! The chicken tinga tacos are very spicy, but the chicken fajita taco was not as spicy and sorta more bland comparatively. We enjoyed the whole meal though and it was very fun to have our date night out here. We will definitely be back, but more so for special occasions as the pricing here is higher than typical Mexican spots in town. The food is very good though so we highly recommend it!

Great place, great food, great service. The appetizers were worth any and all of them. Unique salsas. The pork chop dish was crazy good, different cuts made the tacos unique each time. Who doesn't love a meal served on cutting board?

This place has incredible food and is a whole vibe. It’s inside of an old church but the way they’ve styled it makes it feel like something totally different. The food is top notch. We had the tacos, French toast, and eggs Benedict and all of it was excellent. We went at brunch so it wasn’t packed but I feel like this would be an amazing place for a date night during the evening. Will definitely return.

We had been wanting to go here forever, and we really wish had sooner! Everything about this place is amazing! The architecture and decor are beautiful, the staff - especially the bartenders - were really helpful, and the food and drinks were MIND-BLOWING! Everything we consumed was top-notch. The margaritas were probably the best we ever had. On the advisement of the bartender I ordered the brisket taco and it did not disappoint. I'm not a big brisket eater and this definitely was the best taco I've ever eaten! Definitely go with sweet hot mole. I cannot stress enough that you must try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Maybe it was extra busy because it was full but our server who was nice was hardly ever seen. I mean there was a long .. 20 minute wait for our drinks even though they took our order soon after we sat down. It took so long between orders and receiving anything that we were sure they had forgotten. The food is very good and very nicely prepared. The prices are very high.. high as the ceiling in this very cool remodeled church. I think everyone should go once.. the atmosphere is stunning although my throat was sore after trying to talk over the noise level. It may not be like that every night.. there were many customers there before going to the Beyoncé concert.

I had the pleasure of visiting Noche Mexican BBQ during my vacation last fall in downtown Louisville that left a lasting impression on me. The restaurant was located in an old church, which added to the already amazing vibe. The stained glass windows were simply stunning and added a beautiful touch to the decor. The happy hour at this restaurant was fantastic, with delicious tacos and margaritas that were so tasty! The quality of the food and drinks exceeded my expectations, and the prices were very reasonable. I also appreciated the friendly service that I received from the staff. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Louisville, whether you're looking for a quick bite or a couple drinks! Such a great experience, and highly recommend!

Ambiance is best in the evenings, otherwise it looks like picnic tables in the middle of a church. Our server was awesome although we requested to sit upstairs and the staff said it was closed for the evening due to being short staffed...then sat a family up there. I was so upset...it was my Birthday visit. Anyway.... If you go, Margarita Monday is awesome bc the rest of their cocktails are tiny...tiny but tasty. Food was absolutely amazing. I had the Noche Burrito. Expensive menu, but worth a shot...if they have enough servers.

What a great dining experience! I love the atmosphere, the stained glass widows, the beautiful photos… plus the food and drinks are delicious and the staff is very friendly. Dining in a church was on my bucket list, thanks Noche for providing it!

It’s a beautiful building and a fun atmosphere. I think the tacos were ok, but not great. I also think google is underestimating the price. Noche should get at least $$$, not $$. It’s pricey. They are generous portions and you won’t leave hungry, but these aren’t cheap tacos.

The food is amazing!! A little pricey, but well worth every penny!! The chocolate mole sauce is a must as well!! Also, their birria tacos were some of the best I've ever had.

Clean semi-open kitchen. Anytime I see a clean kitchen with organized staff, I'm impressed. Good amount of food for the price. Service was great, atmosphere was beautiful. Going to come back in the future. Great neighborhood too!

Absolutely the most uniquely amazing restaurant experience l have had. The atmosphere was great, the food was great (smoked Brisket carne), my server (Cheyenne) was knowledgeable and extremely polite and pleasant. The hostess was equally as polite and pleasant. All around an amazing experience that l cannot wait to have again. Great job and thank you to the Noche crew responsible for this.

Ask to be seated away from the walls because there’s a very cold breeze that gets uncomfortable. And try to order your entree at the same time as your appetizers because we were done eating our appetizers before our waiter came to get our entree order. I’m tempted to give them a 4 because it took so long to also get the check but the food and environment deserves a 5!

Really enjoyable place for a special occasion or when you want to try something new--not sure I could afford to eat here as a regular. Not technically authentic Mexican food, but definitely made from scratch and lots of interesting combinations and flavors. Everything was very good, glad we tried the salsas so we know which are our favorites. If you plan on coming for food, drinks, and an appetizer, expect to spend 30-50$ per person.

This was a great dining experience. It was my first time here and I enjoyed every minute. The ambiance was wonderful. The setting is an old repurposed church building with pipe organ, stained glass windows, flying buttresses and all. The food was excellent and the service was perfect as well. You couldn't ask for a better dining experience. Highly recommended!

This is an awesome experience. As one of our fellow diners stated; this is a destination! Drinks are awesome, food is 8/10, staff was super friendly. Our group was large. They should have had more than 1 person with our table of 20+ people. Those in our group fully anticipate going back again next when we takeover Louisville again. You have to give this place a try!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to eat. The setting is an old church and the stained glass is amazing. I ordered the birria tacos at the suggestion of the bartender. The food came so quickly I was actually shocked. The tacos were amazing. The spicy elote was also good with just the right amount of spice that it wasn’t overwhelming. I had a peach old fashion that was made exactly the way I liked. All in all, this was an amazing restaurant, and I’d love to go back again with friends instead of dining alone, some of the dishes I saw being served look more suitable for sharing so I think I’ll go back and do that.

One of the most unique places I've ever been, and one of the tastiest. First off, CHAD, our server, is the 🐐, he was very well informed, he constantly checked on the table and made sure all was in order and we were having a good time. His recommendations were indeed the best, and dude is just cool af, so thank you Chad for being our server!!! The food, tasty, filling, and it looks amazing. I already wanna go back. The atmosphere, IT'S IN A CHURCH, can't get more unique and giving off an insane atmosphere for a restaurant, whoever decided to turn the church into a restaurant I just wanna shake their hand. All in all the place was amazing, we had some appetizers that were delicious, the house margaritas which were REALLY GOOD, and then had the tacos, I recommend any taco as each of us got one from the menu, I couldn't finish mine cuz the appetizers were so good I ate a lot. 10/10 place.

The food was amazing and bursting with flavor. The cheese queso dip was really good. The Noche Burrito was delicious. The street corn was yummy. And the Margarita Flights were a delight. The was our first visit to Noche and we also got a complimentary dessert for my boyfriend's birthday. We loved everything and can't wait to go back.

What a fun and unique restaurant! Beautiful and festive decor and a diverse (and delicious) menu. The only reason I can’t give it that fifth star is it’s a bit on the pricier side (especially considering the prices of nearby restaurant) and if you don’t have a reservation, it can be very difficult to get a seat on the weekend (we didn’t know, but we’ll be better prepared for our next visit). Ultimately, though, definitely a place I’d revisit for a special occasion!

I was really looking forward to eating at Noche the first time as I love Mexican and BBQ and had heard a review from a friend. We had trouble finding parking which is common among the Highlands. We were greeted at the top of the steps as we entered but told there was 30 minute wait as we did not think Monday night at 5:45 would have required a reservation. Honestly, they had 6 or 7 tables that were open so we could have enjoyed the indoor atmosphere which is a big attraction. I realize reservations are required to handle capcity but restaurants should try to seat folks when it appears to have empty tables. We decided to just eat outside which at least had heated lamps. The hostess said she'd send our waiter out soon to take our order. She gave us a coaster with the qr code for the menu link to their website. After a few minutes, our waiter came to take our order. Since it happy hour (4-6) we got the complementary chips and salsa which were good. Our food came quickly within 15-20 minutes or so. I had the brisket ($25) which was quite tender and moist but not real smokey flavored. It was served with pico, tortillas, and a slaw which were nice. The rice and bean sides were average. My wife and daughter shared the full order of steak fajitas ($50) which were disappointing as the meat was quite chewy and tough. That kind of sums the experience at Noche, tough to find parking, tough to eat inside without a reservation, or tough to chew the fajitas. An $80 plus tip for 3 is a little high but not worth the experience if you can't eat inside.
