Last week was my first visit to Sweet Havana, and I can't say enough about the management, the service, and the quality and presentation of the food. But there is more than food and fantastic desserts. The place has 2 venues for events. I recommend the small one for corporate meetings, small gatherings, and even intimate theater presentations. The large one is big enough for baby showers, family parties, etc. Schedule your meeting with the owners and I'm sure they will meet and exceed your expectations. Kudos to Margarita Coro and her team.

Tres leches cake was delicious! What ever those fried balls were were also very yummy, filled with ground beef and potatoes. Looks like they have a very nice event venue here too. Definitely recommend checking this spot out.

One of my favorite bakeries in Louisville. The price is affordable, food is delicious, they always have some new stuff too. We're obsessed with their papa rellena, ask for the sauce because they sometimes forget, it's the perfect combination 🤤

We shared a cuban sandwich combo (it's too big for me to eat alone) Cuban coffee and passion fruit nectar. Along with coconut pastries and flan to take home. All of it was delicious! I've never had cuban food this good outside of South Florida.

Great food! The service is great and friendly. The seating is limited but they appear to do a lot of takeout so we had no trouble getting a table. They are also a bakery so lots of great breads and deserts as well.

Wonderful hole-in-the-wall Cuban food. Clean and understated place that produces excellent staple foods. The Lechon Asado was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The tostones were great, and the plantains were fresh. Fresh bread lines one wall, and their dessert cooler looks like pure evil! I felt like I was in Miami.

What an amazing little authentic place. The food was off-the-hook stellar. Our kids enjoyed everything, especially the pastries we took home. We had Cuban sandwiches and coffee and it was all spectacular.

Beautiful place. Great pastries!!! Also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly. They don't speak much English but that's why the food is so great. Would recommend this place to anyone. Restrooms were clean as well.

Limited breakfast options. But good sized portions and good price points. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Coffee was top notch.

Excellent Cuban Bakery! The Cuban Bread is light and airy and has that perfect smell only Cuban bread has. Fantastic sandwiches and lots of variety. Also, a wonderful place to order birthday cakes. Tucked back behind a strip mall so GPS might not get you there exactly, but worth the trouble to wander around a little to find it!

I got 2 Cuban pizzas. They were absolutely horrible. The cheese was not even melted, they used shredded cheese it was also cold. The dough was under cooked it was completely paled also it was very soggy. I will never ever be buying from here again.

Food is very tasty and authentic! Service from the counter ladies is excellent, my order took longer then expected and a nice worker gave me a free item for the long wait. The empanadas are amazing and the green sauce that comes with it is top tier!

My family & I live in Florida & we visit New Albany for the holidays. Every year, we must make a trip to this restaurant because it's SO GOOD. We originally came for the cuban coffee and stuck around for the cuban sandwiches, croquettes and empanadas! Its a perfect experience every time. We LOVE this food. The restaurant upgrades its dining room every year and the sweet treats on display are always flawless.

Came down to Louisville for a weekend trip and tried this yummy little restaurant... We tried a variety of foods - Cuban sandwich, tamale, potato ball (I don't know the actual name), croquetta (don't know if that spelling is right lol but it is fried dough with ham in it), and pastries... We had cafe con leche and mango juice to drink. We paid less than $30 for it all. Everything was delicious, especially when dipped in the green sauce they brought us. We came close to closing time and they were still very accommodating, they didn't rush us at all and gave excellent customer service. There was a little bit of a language barrier but they went out of their way even using Google translate to make sure we were getting what we ordered. Isis took great care of us and was super friendly! The restaurant itself is older and the decor pretty basic, but everything was clean. If you're looking for some delicious authentic Cuban food while in Louisville I recommend checking out Sweet Havana.

We are from Miami and we are Cubans.. this literally gem… Cuban food mean clean fresh natural flavors. Lots of garlic cumin and Cuban seasoning. Guava which is underrated like avocado was for centuries. It’s just refreshing to eat something that’s not mash potatoes and burgers. Rice black beans skirt steak with lime. No spicy cheesing full gmo food. We ordered croquettes which were fire. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat my media noche because it had Mayo which I specifically asked not to put mayo, it just does not include Mayo at all not sure why they did that. The pastries were also fire. The counter girls were very polite. If you never had Cuban food. Try it, you will ask for the recipe.

Enjoyed a great meal from Sweet Havana during a private event with friends that are family. Everything.. everything was fantastic! The second plate and the dessert, not pictured, but thoroughly enjoyed. So grateful there was abundance to take home and looking forward to that as well.

Good lord everything and I do mean everything we ordered was delicious!!! From the fried potato balls to the desserts. Oh and the customer service was phenomenal. The lady at the counter was super helpful and patient with me. Found a new favorite lunch spot.

What an amazing find. This place is hidden as can be but if you have the time stop by. The food was fresh and delicious. Their bakery selection is fantastic and the staff was very nice. I will be back here time and time again.

Probably the smoothest espresso I have ever tasted. Their options range from sweets to sandwiches and I'll be returning most mornings from now on. Truly recommend and the green sauce, wow.
