We
were
able
to
get
street
parking
only
a
few
steps
away.
On
entry,
the
menu
wall
is
to
the
left
&
they
mark
items
that
are
sold
out.
Make
your
selections,
order
&
pay
at
the
counter
(I
still
prefer
this
to
ordering/paying
at
the
table),
self-serve
beverages
&
table
delivery
of
your
order.
We
each
knew
what
we
wanted
before
arrival
&
we
added
the
raved
about
pork
cakes,
which
I
wanted
to
love...
sadly,
we
may
be
the
only
people
who
aren't
crazy
about
them.
We
both
thought
they
were
salty
and
just
too
rich
for
us
-
even
with
the
slaw
to
cut
through
the
richness.
My
pulled
pork
was
delish,
even
without
sauce-
I
dare
say
I
actually
preferred
it
naked..
soooo
good
-
well
seasoned,
not
at
all
dry,
and
huge
serving
-
took
half
home.
My
2
sides
were
mac-n-cheese
(decent
-
very
creamy)
&
potato
salad
(a
solid
hit)
I
tried
my
husband's
food
too.
Brisket
was
moist,
tender
&
well
flavored.
Baked
beans
were
decent
&
greens
were
very
tangy.
The
straight
meats
were
certainly
their
strength
on
our
visit.
(Pulled
pork
&
brisket)
There
was
a
chunk
of
plastic
in
my
husband's
baked
beans
(odd,
but
it's
not
like
it
did
any
damage)
&,
again,
the
pork
cakes
just
didn't
work
for
either
of
us,
personally.
