Love the gym, the setting, and the routes, but they really need to pay their workers more. $11/hour in the year of our lord 2022 is CRIMINAL. I pay $65/month for a membership here and I want them to be able to eat and pay rent.

Great place for first time climbers or climbers of any skill level. Perfect for kids and adults! Tons of routes and space. Exceptional facility. Helpful staff and fluid check-in process! Will definitely be back next time we are in town for a visit!!!

Warning to parents: Climb NULU has implemented "gender neutral" bathrooms/changing rooms. So when your six year-old daughter attends a birthday party here, she'll have the privilege of sharing the bathroom with men. Won't climb here again.

A nice, clean, bright, very fun, bouldering gym that doesn't smell funky. $13 day pass if you bring your own stuff and if you are new $15 day pass for your first time and it includes rental shoes. After that, $18 per day pass, rentals included. There are plenty of V-Beginner V0, V1, and V2 routes. Some of those are still very challenging for a beginner. The stuff from V3 up is also fun and varied. I have brought some beginner friends here a few times and they had a blast. Experienced climbers will love it too. Other amenities include plenty of benches and tables to rest and hangout at, a campus board, hangboard, system wall, weights and barbell racks and a kids/beginner wall are in a separate area on the side. They also have an adjustable piece of equipment you can train your crack climbing on. They have a variety of other gym things too; besides what I mentioned above they also have kettlebells, dumbbells, exercise bands and benches and chairs for workouts and more. They also sell some climbing shoes and chalk and have a very small number of ropes in inventory as well.

Great area. This is a room for people who are new to climbing off to the side which is easier than the main room. The main room offers multiple levels of challenging walls which are great for all levels. The staff are nice and can help you with any questions that you may have.

The rock wall is cool. However the woman at the front desk is very rude and yelled aggressively at the children. Also the bathrooms are “gender neutral” this bothers me bc I have a young daughter. I felt very un easy knowing a Grown man could walk in while she’s using the bathroom. I literally guarded the door while she was in there. I understand wanted to accommodate people and be fair but they could find another way to do it.

Staff has been awesome each time I've been by. I wish I lived in the area to make this my daily boulding gym; there are a huge variety of routes, all varying in difficulty. The climbs are generally harder than my local gym's, but still a blast to try. I try to stop by whenever I'm in Louisville.

So much fun for my son's 13th birthday! So much bigger inside than it looks from outside.

Simply a very good climbing gym. The bus connection with other parts of the city is unexpectedly good! They have a crackboard, moonboard and a good gym section. The routes could be changed more often for my taste but they are set really well. The staff is very nice as well.

Today was my first time ever doing indoor rock climbing. I met an employee named Nick. I could tell that Nick really enjoyed his job. Nick was super awesome and super friendly and we even had some small talk. Nick made the experience really enjoyable and I can't wait to go to this awesome facility again!

Really fun gym with huge potential. Currently working on lots of upgrades which is nice (2023). Setting is often times strength based and intuitive - unimaginative but can be fun! Hoosier Heights is a terrible organization, but Climb NuLu is a great gym, just missing the support of its parent!

I love this gym, it has great problems and a nice community. I think the only problem I have is around 10am kids that can’t be above 7 years old start flooding in. While I like the idea of kids starting a new hobby, I find that most of the kids aren’t there to climb and are really just running around on the mats. Eventually they start to move into the back area but new families keep coming in. I still love this gym, but the experience just becomes worse when you have to worry about children running under you or disturbing your thoughts.

The climbing is great that can go without being said. However, the first thing you’ll notice when walking in is I have never seen a climbing gym that is so pristine. There is literally little to no residual chalk on ANY of the climbing holds. Always smells clean and new. Staff is honestly over friendly. Honestly cleaner than any gym at all. I swear they must replace the yoga mats every day because they have that fresh new smell as if they were just taken out of the package!! A++++++++

Great bouldering gym. There are numerous walls to climb with many different problems to choose from. There is also a wall dedicated to climbing workouts with campus boards, training boards, and other hold options. The staff are friendly but pretty hands off. I like that they open early on Tuesday and Thursday. Check this place out.

A boulderers playland!! My husband and I visited for the first time this weekend and had a blast. Great routes for all levels, all very interesting and fun. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the facility was very clean and felt very "covid" safe. We climbed super hard and felt very satisfied when we left. 💪 We will definitely be back regularly for more bouldering!!

Best rock climbing in Louisville. It has new courses every time I go, and all the courses are challenging. There is still easy courses though, and the vibe here is great.

I’m not much of a climber, but that was okay at Climb Nulu. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. This was a super fun and unique date night. I’d recommend for anyone!

I've been climbing for a few years now, and I was looking for a good climbing gym in Louisville. Climb Nulu was just that. The staff were super approachable, and the routes were interesting. My only complaint was that the routes were more difficult than I anticipated for their labeled V-levels. However, once I adjusted my expectations to match that, I had a fantastic time.

Super friendly staff, amazing route setting, and plenty of routes for all skill levels. Not to mention the exercise room in the back with campus boards, finger hang boards, and plenty of weights. They also sell equipment, which is super convenient. Everything is kept spotlessly clean too.

Great if you love crimps, not so great if you love jugs, definitely more difficult than the gyms I've been to in the V2-V5 range.

This was my first time at a climbing gym and I had a great experience. The staff helped us understand the safety procedures quickly and the price was very reasonable. It's not obvious to out-of-towners like me, but the climbing gyms around this part of the country tend to be harder because there's so much natural rock climbing in Kentucky, so the gyms cater towards the more experienced climbers. You will definitely be challenged as a beginner even in the easy climbs, but it's well worth the experience.

Great place for climbing. The staff were very personable and inviting. The process for signing up was efficient and effective. They have multiple options for beginners all the way through experts. Would be a great place to get some regular workouts in if I lived a bit closer.

Jeremy was so patient with a couple of groups of children on their Spring Break. He took great care of each of them. Amazing place with tons of options. “Green Light!”

Really love this facility. Love the variety of different degrees of difficulty. I’ve been to other gyms and feel like they cater more to the advanced climber. So I feel welcome here and am able to do a fair amount of the different climbs. Great place and great value.
