I was taken to this hospital suicidal. I’d had Covid twice, collapsed lung, and long Covid for a year. I’m very sick heart and lungs are failing now and I probably won’t be alive long enough to pay their $4000 bill. There was no help with my suicidal ideology, there were no X-rays. There was no tests or did a person come to my room for help on suicide and Covid until they had given me medication to sleep and I couldn’t stay awake long enough to listen from the meds. They dropped general paperwork off without explanation and discharged me. Still suicidal, probably won’t live to see this get paid. If you want to live and feel healthy do NOT go to this emergency room. There are kids in pairs of two gossiping fooling around all night. Outside my room I could see and hear everything. No provisions for suicide or Covid and nobody helped at all. Ativan and discharge is all I received. And a $6000 bill. I lost my job last October due to Covid now I’m never going to work again from that illness. They were absolutely NO help whatsoever it was all about that enormous amount of money. To Patient Experience Department... I've tried reaching someone several times and still cannot get an answer. Thank you for responding.

Worst experience ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. I waited 9 hours to be seen in pain. I ended up leaving and went to condell. I needed an emergency surgery, my gallbladder was extremely infected. This happened 2 months ago and couple days ago I received a bill for 100 dollars from them for just waiting on their waiting room. What a joke.

I have had 4 or 5 inpatient stays since April. The doctors/p.a.'s, nurses, techs, housekeeping staff, nutrritions who have have treated me have made all the difference in the world. I was on bad shape in April, and the care I received has helped me greatly improve and the kindness and warmth I felt from the staff helped me get thru very dark times. Here is a small list of names I remembered from people who went above and beyond for me, and there are also a lot I can't remember. Doctors/P.A's: Dr. Seymour, Dr. Paddy, Paolo Mercado, Kristen trukova, Dr. Oshin, Maria sodagar, Dr Salina din Nurses: Lindsey, Joline, 3 different Nicole's on the 2nd floor east during my stay from 10/8-10/6, Sanya, Vivian, G, Laura. The er staff when I arrived on 10/8 were all amazing and took great care of me. The entire cath lab department have been amazing from front April till now. Cath lab - Ally, Cory (Coralia), Jane, Ben, Roderick, Mabel, Ed, Daniel, Kanul. I've made more trips to the cath lab than I could count, and everytime i go everyone recognizes me and asks how I am doing/recovering. They go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need and am as comfortable as possible. Ivette at the front desk, Edith and Maria in evs/housekeeping. The girls in medical records. I'm am great full to everyone I've encountered at Vista, keep up the great work! Matthew

I would like to express my gratitude to the radiation team for their outstanding work, exceptional customer service, prompt response, and willingness to answer any questions. Additionally, I appreciate their support throughout my procedure. Receiving the news was challenging for me, but the radiation team made the process smooth and stress-free. Many thanks to Michele Newby, RN, for immediately connecting me with the surgery and MD oncologists, ensuring I was on the right track, and even battling with my insurance and seeking efficient care. I'd also like to thank Catherine, who kept my case in mind and expedited my biopsy appointment. Also, thank you to Kelly RN, who made me feel very comfortable the day of my surgery, and for her excellent bedside manner. I'm genuinely thankful to all the staff, from my mammogram visit to the day of surgery and post-surgery, who made me feel at ease and gave me the strength I needed for each procedure. Thank you so much to the entire team at Vista!

Don’t go here. Drive to anywhere else. It’s disgusting. The nurses and staff are lazy. I kept hearing a nurse using swear words with kids in rooms. So unprofessional. I left and went to another hospital and they said don’t ever go there. I got help from the other hospital! Thankfully

My Mother was admitted late January and i want to Thank ALL INVOLVED with her care, everyone went above and beyond and I am grateful. She was very impressed with how attentive and thorough All the staff was. From the E.R to the 2nd floor where she ended up for 4 days. She also could not stop talking about a lady named Edith( in housekeeping) she was so happy and cheerful when entering her room she loved that she took time to have simple conversation (that makes a difference)Thank you...

I was diagnosed with breast cancer recently. Should be scary and horrible, right? The way the team at Vista took care of me made it anything but. From the initial tests to diagnosis then to treatment, I have been part of the most caring and compassionate team. I have never had to wait for answers to questions, I have never had to wait for tests, I have never had to wait for treatment, I have been a priority every step of the way. My radiologist Dr Benjamin saved my life, my nurse Michelle is with me every step of the way, by my side day or night, and makes sure me and my family are taken care of. My surgeon Dr Strohmayer is simply the greatest, kindest, and best surgeon you will find. I am blessed to be a part of this team, and there is no other place I would receive this kind of special care.

Kudos to Nurses Nicoles and staff on 2nd floor at Vista Medical East Center. My spouse, Julian Penny, received excellent care from staff while in Room 223 from March 11-24, 2023. He's on his way toward recovery at a rehab facility nearby. Thanks again!!!

Vista East Maternity unit, team and services. As a black woman never experiencing child birth, labor and etc. there is always a fear when needing help for any medical services, the sheer thought of being treated any less is always a worry. I found those worries washed away with the delivery of my son the last weekend. Registration was efficient even while training a new member of their team. Kudos to wonderful blonde working and training at the ER check in on Wednesday August 16th at 11:30am, sorry I can’t remember your name and good luck to your new team member. There was no pressure when I declined a wheel chair to maternity, as I wanted to walk while I still could. Her name was unknown but she assisted with my departure to the lobby as well. She was on the shorter side but full of kindness. Labor and delivery: Her name was Kylie, who was 4 foot 11, with a comforting voice who managed to help rotate my almost 😅 300 lb body after an epidural and did not complain while I couldn’t make up my mind when to get an epidural, and checked on me consistently. Their names were Sarah and Rachael, who helped bring my son into this world, could not have been easy helping hold my meaty hammock thighs while I pushed and the aftercare they provided was beyond. To postpartum: Beth, Ponnamma, and Sangita: your company and attentiveness through recovery was more than I could have asked for. A special thank you Tonya the lactation staff, who trained a new mom to feed her baby in so many ways. Even the food staff and services where efficient. Thank you so much for everything. I look at my healthy boy and can’t wait for the day I get to tell him about the day he was brought into this world. This place deserves more credit than they receive. Truly outstanding, a simple card with a name on it, would not do justice. To the testing, and additional staff, I could not recall the name of and any forgotten mentions, truly, truly thank you. Your management has a unit to be proud of. -From a new mother and Father

So far not a great experience. Two days before my appointment was asked for my insurance to be verified. This is something that should have been done way in advance. I provided this information when I made the appointment a month ago. Also, I called after work and was transferred and placed on hold for an hour. No one ever picked up. How do you expect me to call you back if your not reliable? I’ll change my review based on what happens when I actually get to speak to someone.

I was at Lindenhurst Er. Dr. Oyasu and nurse Gina were absolutely amazing! Very kind and extremely knowledgeable! Couldn't walk when I arrived. Addressed my concerns immediately! Walked out of er with less pain and alot of recommendations and referrals! Great experience!

Exceptional experience. Everyone from admissions, the nurses and doctors and even Edith in cleaning was very proactive and on top of everything. We had an outstanding experience. Customer service is top notch. The food is good for hospital food as well. Either way I would highly recommend this hospital as they cross their T's and dot their I's and continue to provide patients and family members with great respect.

My mother was admitted 6)22 for a broken hip. She was brought by ambulance. She was in ER examinating room for 6-8 hrs before admission. I was there for a majority of that time i understand that hospitals are shrt staffed but this was a bit extreme. I will say nurses are excellent. It took 3 days for her to get the surgery. Its not The nurses fault. She had her surgery Saturday and she was very well taken care of and it was successful. Just be prepared to wait for care they're very slow and very bad at calling you to give you info of your loved one i can see why they received a F grade.

My mom was the worker who got hit by a car inside the Juan’s Chuck Wagon Restaurant and the ambulance had brought her here. All they did was take x rays of her to see if she had any fractured bones and when they saw that she didn’t have none, they did no further examinations and did not take long to say she could go home. We had our doubts of how good of a job they did and so we personally took her to the lake forest hospital where they did more things like ct scans and mri’s. They found that she had a brain tumor that had been there for quite some while. Not related to the accident at the restaurant but still. It’s is so frustrating to know that if we wouldn’t have went to another hospital we would have never found out she had a tumor. NEVER IN MY LIFE TAKING ME OR MY LOVED ONES HERE EVER AGAIN. Don’t recommend this place to anyone. Worst hospital. If I could give zero stars I would.

I can honestly say the staff from the emergency room all the way to being admitted was AMAZING very tentative, caring and understanding. I was admitted 8/9/2022 until 8/11 room 522 and everyone who was assigned to my room nurses and techs went beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF THAT WAS ON DUTY PERFORMED AMAZINGLY. Also Almisha Black from food service was wonderful, attentive and on time.

I had one of the first strains of covid 19 back in March of 2020. My oxygen was in the 50's when I called the ambulance. I spent 10 days in this hospital. They and God saved my life and I am very grateful to all of the staff. They were all wonderful and very accommodating and very patient with me. Thank you everyone who helped me during that time.

Been sitting in the ER waiting room for over two hours to be treated for an ectopic pregnancy. My tube can rupture any moment. I guess having an ectopic pregnancy is not life threatening enough for them. You have to be dead for them to see you within a matter of minutes. Smdh. Shame on you! Next time I will just go to lindenhuurst, they would have had me seen and transported here by ambulance. I would have been done by now.

Had an excellent experience yesterday. My husband had an out patient procedure. Everyone was fantastic. Dr. Davuluri is an amazing physician. Ophelia from Same Day Surgery, Christina from OR, the ultrasound tech, lab techs, xray tech, registration and the surgery tech, were all wonderful. Very clean environment. Everyone was very nice. Thank you for a great experience.

I was involved in a car accident so I was taken to the hospital through an ambulance, I was in so much pain, my leg, back, chest, arms and neck were hurting a lot, when I got to the hospital the nurses were sooo nice and caring, they asked me what happened and where I was hurting, they put a neck collar brace on me, I wished I knew the nurse’s names so I can thank them for their kindness service, but with the “doctor” was the very opposite, he was very rude and careless, he came in the room and asked me what happened and what was hurting , he just checked my leg and told me that he was going to order x-rays, a cat scan and something for the pain and he left. When the nurses took me to get cat scanned I asked them if they could leave me flat on the bed because I felt less pressure on my back, so they left me flat and took me to the room, a while later the doctor came with the results, while he was telling me that I had no broken bones he put up the bed to put me in a seating position and forcibly removed my collar neck brace not caring of my back and neck, (not because I had no broken bones doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt) my husband and I were in shock, but we didn’t say anything, before the “doctor” left my husband asked him if he could check my arm since I was complaining of pain and he very rudely said that when I came in I only told him that my back, neck and leg was hurting and he left without checking me. more than an hour later I got discharge with just a 5 day prescription for pain. The same day I called my employer to let them know that I was going to missed 5 days of work because of the medication they prescribed me and my employer asked for a doctors note to excuse those days, The next day I called the ER to ask for a doctors note and they told me to go to emergency inpatient and they would make me the note, unfortunately I couldn’t go that day, but I did go the next day in the morning, the person in the front desk at emergencies was extremely rude she asked for my id, later she handled me a few papers for me to sign I asked what those papers were for, she said “oh those papers are to admit you, they have to check you before they give you the doctors note” which obviously I was going to get billed for that, so I refused to sign them, the triage nurse came out to take me in, but the lady on the front desk stood up and ran to her and told her that I refused to sign the papers so they refused to make me the doctor’s note. So I went downstairs to get my medical records and found out that I did had an injury on my spine and the doctor didn’t tell me.

I’m a victim of an assault I was told by the head nurse they won’t help me. When I complained about it they pretentended like it didn’t happen and used my medical problems to hurt me this place is a disgrace and an accident waiting to happen. I don’t even want to go there for basic tests as I believe they will be tampered with i only had good experience with their labor and delivery dept they were so kind.I guess I’m the wrong color and not worth helping. And I’m going to escalate my complaint not that it matters to them I want them publicly embarrassed and disgraced seemingly they pick and chose who they help and I didn’t have a choice being assaulted someone made that choice for me than I was assaulted by them too and it’s about time we hear from victims who are sick of their nonsense you take good peoples life take dignity it will come to you

Had xray done at Vista. Overall positive experience - from the young man at outpatient registration, to the nice lady at testing and treatment and the young lady who did my xray. She was very pleasant and communicative and explained every step of the procedure.

Labor and delivery team is amazing! Just had my 4th child here and I have to say, this hospital has some of the sweetest, knowledgeable, and gentle staff ever. There's too many nurses to name but I am so grateful for the team that helped take care of my new baby and I. They were all so amazing and felt like family. Thank you Vista East L&D team!!!

I recently had a same day surgical procedure done at Vista. From intake to when I was able to go home, I was treated with the utmost respect and care. Registration was quick and easy. Every department's personnel explained what they were doing, and why. The nurse who cared for me was compassionate which also extended to my husband. My experience with Vista was very positive.

I had the most excellent care from the staff who took care of my trip to the ER. I had a cough for three weeks, runny nose, congestion...so here I am. Dr Oyasu was so kind and friendly, great bedside manners and made me feel comfortable in knowing I'll be ok. Professionalism to the max!!! Thank you to the nurses and everyone who assisted in making my day! God bless you all. ❤️

I walked into the emergency room with a pretty severe leg condition. After being looked at and taken in, my experience with staff from that point would be incredibly positive and productive in resolving the problem. I was very impressed with their skill and hospitality. Wishing all the best.

The staff that greeted and directed people coming into the hospital were happy and helpful. While I was in the waiting room later, they greeted some people by name! How delightful. The registration process was quick and soon I was ready for my scheduled appointment time, and on time! Jacob, from venous ultrasound lab greeted me in the lobby and walked with me to where the test was. Jacob explained the procedure well and completed the ultrasound professionally, with respect towards modesty. He was friendly, in a calming way. In and out in about an hour! Got a call back from my doctor's office the same day, meaning Vista Imaging read the results quickly and shared them with my PC.

I just came in with some serious arm pain (10 out of 10) and the care I received from Dr. Weissler was amazing! He immediately accessed my condition and got my pain under control. The nurses (especially Lisa) were awesome and took the best care of me. They got me going and had me back home in a few hours feeling so much better. I have to follow up with my doctor in a few days to have a stress test done for good measure! Thank you Vista for such an outstanding experience!!

The labor and delivery nurses are amazing. They were attentive and caring the whole time my daughter was in labor. They kept trying things to help her along and make her comfortable. Shout out to our team Sara, Ashlee, Rachel, and Kylie and the rest of the staff that jumped in to help keep my daughter and grandson safe and well cared for every minute.

Every single time I have a relative or a friend admitted to this hospital, it is a terrible experience. There's too many bad things to list, but the most notable is that the staff is quite unprofessional and even unpleasant. They are understaffed, which makes for terrible Healthcare service. I am currently on the second floor in a "nicer" part of this hospital....and you wouldn't believe how incredibly loud the administration is here. From cackling type of laughter, to telling stories about patients, and just plain gossiping. It truly is unprofessional. This is a hospital for the sick, not a nightclub!
